Looking at it, I can see how it would work well for this too but I haven't tried it. 5Dog loves these scratchersThese are durable and cheap shoe horns with backscratchers, and they work great. Plus i like that bamboo is just fast growing grass, very green product. I have several around the house. I keep one on the couch so I can scratch the dog without bending over, and his eyes roll back in his head, he is in dog heaven. I can reach all his favorite spots with ease. I like the shoe horn too, I don't have to untie my tennies to slip them on without breaking down the backs. 5Strong UNPLEASANT odorProduct has strong unpleasant odor. We still have them sitting out hoping for the odor to disappear so that we feel safe to touch our skin with the back scratchers. 1Poorly Made with Chemical OdorThe product came tinted green and reeking of amonia. I thought it would be a funny novelty gift for bf. I had to air them out outside for over 24 hours, rubbed them with essential oils, and still the scent didn t disappear. They are cheaply made and have odd branding (website address) written in huge text on them. Not worth it 1Better than expectedBetter than I expected. Sturdy. I like these better than the one I got at the Asian store because the end is curved more. Plus I tried the spring ball and like how it's soft and firm at the same time. Kept three, gave others to family. 4Sturdier than the metal ones and looks nicer too!Very sturdy and looks good too! I prefer these than the metal ones. The metal ones tend to bend more and does not have the scratching power. These bamboo scratchers are perfect! Love them! 5
