    PerfectI've been using Uncle Bill's tweezers for over thirty years. They last forever (well, as long as you don't misplace them) These are the first ones that I've got that has a keyring holder for them which is great by me!5Best camping/ hiking/ utility tweezers I have foundThese look to be nearly identical to a pair of needle point tweezers I had purchased while I was on Active Duty with the US Army.I am constantly having to track my original pair down, as others in my family like to borrow them when they get a splinter. I, personally, have not found an equal to this style of tweezers when it comes to splinter extraction.5The BestThese are fantastic. I work at a large machine shop. I use these every day.5Not made like the original ones. (American manufacturing in a nutshell)I just bought a 3 pack of these tweezers, thinking they were like the old pair my parents bought probably 30 years ago. (Probably from a booth at our county fair.) I had high hopes, seeing as they were still made in America.Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find the ones I received had a sharp, burred edge where the "point" was sheared off, and seemed thinner and cheaper than my folks pair. I finally had a chance to compare them, and the new ones are are made from stainless that is approx 20% thinner, making them less "springy", and the tips aren't deburred in any way, leaving a point with very sharp edges, likely to break or cut any hairs or splinters you're trying to grab. In contrast, the old pair were smoothly deburred, with the very tip also thinned along the flat face, making for a much thinner "tip" to really dig in there.All in all, the new ones are very similar, just cheaper in all regards. Frankly, they're about the quality I would expect from China, or perhaps an American company trying to get by on it's reputation.(I've since cleaned the edges up with some sand paper, and a buffing wheel -- they're pretty close to what the old ones were now. )As is, they're just "ok", not "amazing" like the older ones.3Cheap and unusableThis is a cheap imitation of the original sliver gripper. The metal is thinner and not smoothed, so if you are luckily enough to get at the sliver, the sharp edges break the sliver, or the cheap metal can not grasp the sliver. If you are lucky enough to have an original pair, don t let them go! These are not like the original, just a useless replica.1Best splinter tweezer available.Best tweezers out there for slivers.Precise and a must have in any first aid kit.5Precision DesignBrilliant design, strong and robust... Workd great under a microscope... Clings to your key-chain for use whenever, wherever.5Not as great as I was hopingHaving read the some blurbs about these tweezers I decided to give them a try. They can be very good, but they are not as great as the hype I read.4Surgical precisionThese little tweezers can grab the tiniest of hairs, splinters, or filaments with surgical precision. If you can see it, they can grab it and hold on tightly.5Lasts a lifetimeI have had a set like these on my keychain since 2009. My wife and daughter kept asking for them so I finally bought this 3 pack so they could have their own. They're almost too well made. You'll never need another set unless you lose this one or need additional sets like I did.5
