Nice! Pleasantly Surprised. Very nice but 35 inch glass cover would have been the best for my 36 inch round wood dining table. I don't like the 1/2 of overhang but I can live with it. To have a beveled edge and to be tempered glass at this price is unbelievable. This is an Amazon Warehouse deal which was 25% less than what I could get it locally and would've been required to pick it up. This glass has no imperfections and looks beautiful on my table. It is described as being 3/8 inches thick but I'm almost certain that it is 1/2 inch thick. Bottom line. My new wood dining table is so cute and I don't want it getting nicked and dinged up. Didn't think Amazon had cut glass. I'm amazed. 4High quality craftsmanship and neck snapping speedy shipping.I purchased a new heavy wooden round table dining set two weeks prior to purchasing my glass top and I wanted to protect the table top surface. A friend of mine suggested I get a glass tabletop for it. But buying locally meant higher prices for both the glass table top and extra delivery charges not to mention I wouldn't know if I were being sold a quality product. I log into Amazon which is usually my quick go to site to research any purchase and I came across Fab Glass and Mirror.The product was delivered astonishingly quick. Quicker than Amazon Prime for a large heavy piece of furniture. The table top came packaged extremely well with thick styrofoam padding covering every surface area. The box was a heavy cardboard box with reinforced styrofoam padding in the corners and very stiff corner material to prevent crumple on the corners. The box had 12 x 1/2 inch nylon straps, 6 vertically and 6 horizontally keeping it together. I found this reassuring even though it took some time to get the table top out of the box. But I appreciate the great care they took to packaging my order so well, I would not have it any other way. This company is a class act and know how to package furniture correctly.When I finally laid it on top of my table, it immediately made my table look like a high-end piece of furniture from a luxury hotel. The glass shows the brass/gold washed wood grain beautifully. The edges are beautifully beveled and the edges buffed to perfection. The tempered glass has no imperfections and really shows high-quality craftsmanship. I took the liberty to take out my dSLR with my EF 100mm f/2.8L IS macro lens to get close ups of the beveled edges. I can recommend Fab Glass and Mirror's table tops without reservations. I am extremely happy with my purchase!Just one suggestion, these behemoths weigh quite a bit so have two pairs of strong hands to gently elevate the tabletop onto your table if you choose to get one too. Placing it on the table really is a two person job.5Well-made table topWe purchased this glass table top to cover a delicate cocktail table with an uneven surface. It arrived when expected and in perfect condition. Dimensions were accurate. It looks great! I added a few clear bumper pads, too.5Both sides seemed etched with water damageI was excited to find this table top, as it was the exact measurements I was looking for at about half the price that I could find it elsewhere. However, when cleaning it a week after setting it up, I noticed something that looked like water marks near the sides of the glass. After trying a number of different glass cleaners to no effect, I realized the glass was damaged. It sort of looks like some really hard water with lots of minerals had been pooling on it for a while, and as a result, etched the glass. I don't know if that's what really happened, but that's what it looks like. It's on both sides of the glass, all around the edges. The room where this table top is has ceiling spot lights and a floor torch lamp, and the damage is much more obvious when the ceiling spots are on (not invisible with the torch lamp or in the daytime with natural light, but less noticeable and less annoying). If I had kept the packing materials, I would have returned it as damaged (but the hassle and expense of finding packing materials to return such a large and heavy item now doesn't seem worth it at the price I paid).2Perfect and very fast in sending Perfect for an end table I turned into a coffee table by swapping out small glass with this larger size. Excellent quality with bevel edge 5Beautiful tempered glass!My mother is very happy to have this glass on her table. It is very clear glass with no bubbles and is simply beautiful on the patio table for which it was purchased. The beveled edge of the glass adds a dressy look to the table. The glass is heavy and the price was half what could find anywhere else. There is a "tempered glass" label on the glass for no additional cost.5Beautiful and Sturdy Glass Tabletop!We purchased a new kitchen round table base which we were going to order a separate glass tabletop for but the furniture store wanted a very high amount for the glass tabletop so I started looking around for more reasonably priced options and found this one which was almost half the price. It arrived within a week and it is absolutely perfect. Beautiful beveled and thick glass top which looks fantastic on our table base. The delivery is to the door only so my husband and I were concerned at first that we would be able to set the glass properly in place as it is really heavy but we had no real problem doing so. We ended up rolling it on blankets to get it to the table and then lift it to the table base. We did use the little plastic bumpers on the table base and the glass fits perfectly and is very secure. We are thrilled with the quality and look of our new table with the glass table top and would highly recommend it.5DIY Glass Top Lazy SusanI have a 60" round glass top dining table which made getting food only possible if the dishes were passed around or one had to stand up to reach a dish. So, I realized I needed a lazy susan like they had in Chinese restaurants for large tables. Found this 30" glass top - tempered, bevel edge 3/8" for less than half the price offered at my local glass shop so the decision to buy online was sealed after reading the positive reviews. It is an awesome quality glass top and I couldn't be happier. I'm using a higher quality lazy susan turntable bought locally and the glass top sits nicely and now we can comfortably have our meals. I need to add that for those of you wary about buying a glass top online because you worry about receiving it broken or cracked, don't because this product is very well packaged.5Don't hesitate Wow....was I nervous ordering glass!! I had ordered it on impulse and tried cancel it, as there were so many other options available I wanted to make sure this was the one I wanted. I'm glad I like it, because even though it was the same day it was too late to cancel. The heaviness of it goes well with the triangular table I ordered earlier, "LAZYMOON Modern White Wood Triangle Accent 3 Legged Side End Table Pine". It's a light-weight table and the weight of this glass top actually stabilizes it a bit so it's a little less 'tippy' now. 5Very pleased Arrived quick, well packaged, and in perfect condition. The glass came crated, plenty of styrofoam, very well packaged. We love the product, but the problem came from the delivery. They called to set up a time and day. Great communication. It arrived on a semi truck, driver would not go down our driveway, had to meet him at the highway with a trailer to put it on, uncrate it, get it into the house, in the rain. It weighed around 200lbs. My husband and I are in our late 60 s. This was a major feat for us. Only wish this was discussed with us ahead of time, or I had asked more questions. The company delivered fast and it s a great product.5Returned do to scratches on glassI was happy to find the right size for a smaller painted table that needed to be protected. The size, shape and edge were perfect.Upon arrival the box was in good shape. I place the top on a towel and cleaned the front and back before placing on the table. I could see one 1 scratch right away. It wasn t in the center and I really wanted to get the table protected and was going to keep it but then as I placed it on the table ( it is black) I found many scratches that were on the glass. If the table had been white or a lighter color it may have not been so noticeable but with the window so close to the table it looked terrible.I had no problems with the return.2PERFECT FIT Years ago my husband purchased a table in an art galley, It was a tree root with a glass top. It is absolutely perfect and a an incredible price. Thanks! 5"tempered" glass shatters after waiting a year for it to be in stock I waited a year for this product to come into stock. That was annoying. I've had it less than 90 days. My child knocked into the table and the "tempered" glass shattered and naturally flew everywhere. Some of the glass pieces were so small, they were like dust. Maybe my understanding of "tempered" glass in inaccurate, but I thought the point was that it didn't shatter. 1Quality Glass, Exceptional PriceI bought this about a few weeks ago and I have to say that I am extremely satisfied. I called a few local places and I felt like they were trying to rip me off. $200 for a new glass top? I might as well have bought a brand new table set. Anyways I ordered this after reading reviews and doing research and it came VERY WELL packaged and it came pretty quick. The glass is beveled and heavy and very durable. It's very thick which I love. The local store told me the more thicker the glass the more expensive but I could smell a liar when I see one lol You can tell this isn't cheap glass (like the one that came with my table set). I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new glass top. Make sure you measure your table to get the appropriate measurement. My table's circumference was only 29" but I wanted something a bit bigger. Nobody paid me to make this statement. Just wanted to support the business and let others know it's a great price for a quality piece of glass.5great glassThis glass is heavy and beautiful. It says 29 inches but it is a little bigger than my 29 inch table but it is only about a half inch bigger. Bigger is better it looks perfect and intentional. I bought one from the warehouse so it was discounted. That may be why it was a little bigger but i think at the price i paid, i got a steal. I was so surprised to get this great piece at such a discounted price. nothing was wrong with it. I painted a table mint green because i have another mint green glass table in my kitchen. i need a smaller one for the corner nook but couldn't find one so painting it and putting the glass over it made it match with my other table.5Beautiful glass tabletop for home project or replacement!
