    Great coat rack - Great price! Great coat rack! I had been looking in stores and I couldn't find anything I liked that was in my budget. I saw this on Amazon and thought well I'll give it a try. I have had this coat rack for 2 years and it holds a lot of coats and hats and I haven't had any trouble with it at all. 5missing pieces The coat/hat rack was a Christmas present that my daughter requested. It was missing a couple pieces. I contacted customer service and asked them to send the missing pieces. They had a hard time trying to figure out what I wanted, even though I gave them the invoice #, product # and part #. But they did eventually send the pieces and they were the correct pieces. 3Good purchase but just a few caveats The coat rack (tree) is an excellent purchase, well worth the money. I rec'd it from Fed Express within a day of ordering, reasonably well packed and no breakage. The base is heavy and provides solidity so it is unlikely to tip over, even if you do not hang items all around 360 degrees so it's unbalanced in weight. The placement of parts is well engineered, allowing for a lot of hooks but spaced so that it doesn't look messy. A few caveats. First, there is no cost differential between the oak and natural finish versions -- although the base price and shipping costs differ considerably, the totals come out the same. (No free shipping since they come from outside Amazon.) I chose natural for a more modern look but otherwise, they seem identical. Second, unfortunately, the base is decorated with raised rococo accents which is a jarring contrast to the otherwise modern lines and materials. Mismatched not just because the base is made of a different material (plastic? ceramic?) than hardwood but also because the base is a different color and style altogether. Third, although it was not intellectually challenging to assemble, other reviewers make it seem easier and quicker than it was for me -- at least the parts I received. It came with a one-sided instructions page, with no explanatory text, only drawings of the parts, by letter, and a drawing of the completed assembly. Nothing said about the order in which to assemble the parts. (What worked for me was to assemble from the base up.) Although not a big deal, it would have saved a little time had the plastic bags with the parts been labelled with the letters found on the instruction page. Some knobs and tubes took me ten minutes EACH to screw or push in because some of the openings were too small so had to be screwed and screwed, with sawdust left behind on the kitchen floor. (The opening for one knob is too small so could not be screwed in and another could not be inserted because of the obstruction of a metal rod right behind the hole), but I turned the rack around so those flaws won't be seen, and I'm only short one hanging appendage.) Other than these small concerns, I'm a happy customer since my house does not have a coat closet. 4Great looking, solid, easy to assemble The title pretty much says it all - this is a really nice-looking rack, it holds a LOT, and is rock solid stable, thanks to the heavy base (which looks fine against the natural finish), and the entire assembly took less than 30 minutes. The only change I did was to use Gorilla Glue to attach the wooden end caps, rather than the supplied white glue. Everyone, who has seen the rack, has commented on its looks, smooth lines and functionality. Rarely, have I put together a product that was so well-designed and well-packaged. Kudos to Acme Furniture (gotta love the name, too). I will definitely look for their name for future purchases. Seller, Cross Country Furniture, was also very fast. Can you tell that I am happy with this purchase? 5many pegs, very sturdy I got this coat rack / clothes tree because it has so many pegs and hooks. I am quite pleased with it. It turned out to be very sturdy, will not tip over even when loaded with clothes. The base is heavy - I think it is made of plastic, but it looks kinda like ceramic. It is also nice and tall, maybe 6 feet tall.I bought it for my bedroom, to hang clothes that are 'worn once' - not dirty enough for the hamper but clean enough to be worn again. :) It's a very good clothes tree. I will likely get another one to use as a coat rack in the front hall! 5Love it! Most sturdiest piece! Never have to worry about it falling over!! This is THEE most sturdiest rack. I've busted 3 or 4 now in the past 5 yrs and decided to pay a little extra for the durability! I would say YES to this if you are thinking about purchasing it. I have a ton of stuff on it right now... at least 10 jkts, a few bags, hats, etc. My husband is a 3XL so you know how heavy jackets can be! Love it. I don't worry about it toppling over the base it pretty big. It's a bit heavy too to prevent it from falling!!! But not too heavy so you can move to vacuum!! 5Sturdy Coat & Hat Rack I ordered this coat & hat rack to help my husband keep his hats & clothes off the floor. It was very easy to put it together and it is very sturdy! I wanted one that had lots of arms & hooks and this really filled my needs. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I was also happy that there were several color options to fit my decor. 5A lot of hanging around This was delivered very quickly,all the parts there and very easy to assemble. It is sturdy and attractive and the price was amazing in comparison to othersI have looked at. Face it,once all the coats are hanging on there you do not see a whole lot of the features mainly the base/top.The one thing I like the most is how many sweatshirts the kids can hang on there. Tons of hooks !!!! 5sturdy coat and hat rack Quickly received coat and hat rack from Amazon and proceeded to put it together. This was easy to do except for the upper arms which took quite a while and a lot of strength to get into place.I was glad my husband was here to help me as he is much stronger than I! One of the smaller balls that are placed on the arm ends was split in two but we repaired with wood glue and it looks fine. Once the rack was put together it is good looking and sturdy and can hold a lot of weight.The lower levels are great for kids to use on their own as they are at just the right height for school-aged little ones.It's attractive enough to place in a conspicuous place if that's what you need. 4A great pick! This is indeed a great coat and hat rack. I actually have two of them. Stylish and functional.Make sure you get exactly the model in the photo, with 6 hangers on top. This one is by far the best model.Very easy to put together and it lasts a very long time. 5
