    Cleans the filters better in half the time Wow, amazing how such a simple device can make your life so much easier. After soaking some five-year-old filters in vinegar solution overnight, I cleaned them with this. You could see all the debris flowing out as I cleaned. The physical contact with the fingers cleans much better than just water pressure. In about half the time I usually spend with a regular spray nozzle, the filters were cleaner than ever before.Hint: Use a downward motion as you spray and brush. This works much better than just directing the flow straight into the filter. 5Good first impression! This seems to work pretty well. It arrived today and I am mediately went out and cleaned the cartridge that was already sprayed off. I was seeing new green water coming out. The only thing I don t like is you get pretty wet doing this because of the close proximity so just dress accordingly! 4Disappointed The idea is nice, but the reality isn't what I expected. I thought the water would shoot out the tips of the comb so as to better remove items from inside the filter. That is not the case. It sprays from above the comb resulting in a major drenching of whoever is cleaning the filter, and the comb is rather ineffective. 1Does the job well. Solid construction and gets the job done. Be prepared to get a little wet because of the splashing coming off the filter. The on off lever works good with no signs of leaks. 5Not Impressed My aquacomb came labeled for dog grooming. I think that would be a better use for this. If you are not careful you can damage your filter. That happened to me twice. It also squirts water in your face just like a nozzle sprayer. On my filters the pleats were too close and the teeth too far apart and it would miss areas of the filter. If you use this comb, be careful and go slowly to avoid tearing the filter. 2Nice. This works well to get into the folds of a hot tub filter. It comes with a screen inside where it screws onto the hose to keep debris out. It seems sturdy enough, although if you are rough with it the tines might break (hasn't happened to me). Also, if you have high water pressure, be careful about turning it up all the way, as this unit will definitely be the weakest point and may spring a leak (again, this hasn't happened to me, because I also bought a ball-valve pressure regulator to attach to the hose). 4Works great. Makes short work of rinsing the filter cartridges I just got a hot tub in the last year. I think i tried spraying a filter once with a hose. Let me tell you. Whoever invented this little plastic gadget deserves to make the money they make on it. Works great. Makes short work of rinsing the filter cartridges. I highly recommend it to anyone. Here in Colorado it gets super cold in the winter which makes rinsing anything with a hose difficult. Today we got into the 50s and now I'll have filters ready to last through Winter.Also, it does not leak when connected to the garden hose and the on/off mechanism works great so I don't have to run back and forth to turn the faucet off. Great gizmo. 5Works as advertised Very effective for cleaning dirty filters. definitely saved time, effort and amount of water needed to clean. You do have to be careful when putting the fingers into the filter, it can damage the filter if not carfull. 5Use a regular brass sprayer. This product was more work than using a hose with a sprayer. I still had to use a regular spray nozzle, because the spray from this spray pattern does not have good cover. I stopped using it. The sprayers are plastic, need to be careful or you will break them. 2It works well. Less splash back that just the ... I found a better way to use this. Don't use it as the instructions say. Turn it so the stream is parallel to the pleats, ignore the fingers, keep the spray perpendicular to the pleats, work it sideways and back and forth. Then it really works down into the bottom of the pleats and cleans the junk out.It works well. Less splash back that just the hose nozzle. However, I thought the jets would come out of the yellow fingers. Where it would be very effective. WRONG! The water comes out of the T section of the handle. Not bad. 5
