High Quality and Easy UseI have always used those bamboo skewers but needed something more suited to serious kabobs. I mean fine cuts of meat with fresh vegetables from the garden minutes earlier. These are well built, easy to handle pre, during and after grilling. These skewers are stainless steel so they clean up easy too. Of course, even though they are the perfect length to close the grill lid they can get hot. Using a set of tongs and spatula they are easily moved around for perfect grilling.Great value for the quality. 5Skewer MagicI've used these new skewers two nites in a row now -- once for shrimp and tonite for marinated chicken breast chunks... They work very well... And resolve the issues I've had in the past with trying to cook things on skewers 5Makes kabobs so much easier!These skewers are awesome! I have only used them once but I'm so glad I ordered 2 packs of them. I used to have to use 2 skewers for each kabob I made but having the double prong skewers makes things so much easier! I threaded on my meat and veggies and put the skewers and all in a ziploc bag to marinate. It cannot be any easier! Also, when I took them off the grill the meat and veggies slid off them quickly. There was no washing directions, but after I was finished I just put the skewers in the dishwasher and they came out great! I would highly recommend this item. 5When BBQ hits the high notes!These skewers are fabulous! So well built!! These were a gift for my daughter, and she just loves them. Having 2 prongs gives more stability when turning them on the BBQ. An added bonus...you can push your meat and veggies with the sliding handle. So So practical. I will even order some for me. Also easy to just slid the guards to push the food off in one smooth motion. 5A Fine Addition to Expand BBQ CapabilityJust tried these skewers with shrimp and veggies on my Weber kettle grill. The key features I need are easy to turn over and that the food stays on the skewer throughout transfer, cooking, turning and final a clean release during plating.. These skewers fit the bill completely. 5Absolutely a great productThe quality of these skewers is over the top. They come with rubber tips on the sharp points so you won't get accidentally stuck. They are not at all flimsy but very substantial. We put shrimp on them to BBQ and they didn't twist and turn. When you take them off the grill and to your plate, the sliders push them right off! I will buy more from this company. 5Awful. sometimes new products stink at what they doGot these for my wife because she lamented spinning veggies and shrimps while BBQing. We did the two-skewer-per-rack thing, but she was running out of skewers because of that.So we saw this and she thought it'd be a great idea. Problems below:1. Skewers would split any veggies put on them. Because of the way they're designed, after the second hole pierces, it'd break in the middle and cause the whole thing to split in half. Particularly on onion and peppers. Shrimp and sufficiently large meat chunks by themselves were fine.2. the little attachment to slide the stuff off the skewers barely worked at best. We still had to remove most of the stuff by hand with a fork because if we used the sliding attachment, it would smush and squish and pulverize whatever was at the top before the rest of the food would start sliding down the end of it. We would have to remove 1/2 to 3/4ths of the food manually with a fork before we could even use this attachment properly.3. Gets filthy in the grill. We figured these would be easier to clean. Nope. they got black marks and discoloration and now they look older than our old simple pole metal skewers somehow. And those are decades old!4. Somehow they are too sharp for handling, but has a hard time actually piercing food. I know this doesnt make sense, especially listening to my wife telling me that the first time she used it, but after insisting I try it out I agree. It doesnt make sense but we frequently found our hands getting poked pretty hard because it had such a hard time going through the food if it didnt split in half...Nice idea, poor execution. These are going to be thrown away or donated. 2Sturdy skewers that perform perfectlyGreat quality, sturdy skewers and a handy slider feature as well. None of the food spun around at all, completely avoiding the typical frustration of standard skewers. The width of the 2 skewer rods is just about perfect and you can adjust it a bit if your cubes of meat are a bit smaller. Food turned out great and was evenly cooked as a result and I would highly recommend them. Friendly service and great customer service from BBQ-Aid to boot. 5... the next kitchen gadget or utensil that will work better and perform betterAs a chef I am always looking for the next kitchen gadget or utensil that will work better and perform better, make things easier or taste better. This is the ultimate skewer set. You can slide the meat off after it is cooked and the meat or vegetables do not spin as you turn them. These will make perfect kabobs or you can put anything on them and grill, broil, or roast it. Forget bamboo that can burn or catch fire and which are just one stick making it impossible to keep the tomatoes, peppers, onions, zucchini, and mushrooms from spinning or falling off, these simply work much better and are easier to use. You will love them. 5
