    This seems like a decent enough product This seems like a decent enough product, but unfortunately the specifications are incomplete. The hangers to go over the top of the door are exactly 1.5 inches deep - so will NOT go over the top of a 1 and 5/8 in thick door (which is what I have). This question was asked and answered incorrectly under the questions (the answerer said that "Yes" this WOULD work on a 1 5/8" thick door). Please be sure to measure the thickness of your door before ordering - 1 3/8" should be fine; 1 1/2" MIGHT work, but would (at best) be very snug. 3So apparently it's an over the door rack that you ... So apparently it's an over the door rack that you still have to screw into the door. It comes with hardware. I bought because I just wanted on that went over the door that I didn't have to screw in. Oh and to return they make you pay return shipping which is hard to justify paying when you are paying little to begin with. 1Perfecto! I snapped the hook off and then mounted it to the wall right next to my dryer. Perfect to hang dry my delicates or to hang clothes as soon as I take them out of the dryer to prevent wrinkles. Great for tight spaces, or when you don't want to take up valuable floor space with a rack when you're only going to use it every now and then! Love that it folds flat against the wall when not in use! 5I love this! I regret all the money I wasted ... I love this! I regret all the money I wasted buying those command strips for so long, when all along I could have just purchased this product. All my brooms and even swiffer mop fits perfectly. Everything is so much organized now. I didn't even have to use the screws to hang it on the door, the long hooks to hang it over the door were perfect and so easy to click on. 5Brilliant. Quick and easy setup -- no installation required, even though it comes with screws. Mine fit perfectly on my linen closet door with no securing necessary. At long last, i finally have my multitude of brooms/mops/swiffers/dusters/dust pans OFF the floor and out of the way every time i open the closet door. A great investment for an organized utility closet! Shipment was fast and product seems of good quality, nice and sturdy. I like that it is white so blends in with my white door. Highly reccommend. 5poorly designed Unit hanger inserts to bracket vertically so it swivels I guess . If you bump it with clothes on it down everything goes. Your forced to put holes in your door to stop this. I have another older model that connects horizontally & this does not occur. Unfortunately I've been unable to find that model. 1It looks as though it would work as advertised but... It looks as though it would work as advertised but the clearance needed to be able to close the door after screwing the bracket on from the top is at minimum 3/8", which as it turns out is too much for my doors. Yes, I know I could screw it on to the front or back of the door but if I need to move it? I wish I'd seen the other review that mentions this before I'd purchased. 2Another exercise in frustration. This hanger has two holes in the top for securing it to the top of a door. It must be screwed to the door to work. What is not mentioned is that this hanger can also be hung on a wall. It is designed with perforations that allow you to snap off the over-the-door part and use the two holes in the face plate to mount it. The major design flaw is that the holes are not recessed to allow you to use a screw with a head that would sit flat. Instead it comes with two domed head screws and two wall anchors. If those screws are used in the top of a door, make sure you've got a good 1/4"+ gap so they don't scrape. The length of their screws would probably be adequate for wall mounting with wall anchors, but I wouldn't. Instead I put it into a stud with longer screws. The domed heads also make it next to impossible to put the hanger ends into the bracket after the bracket is on the wall (as they instruct), so I suggest putting the hanger together, swiveling it to the side, and then screwing it to the wall. I learned that the hard way: the lower part of my bracket cracked the minute I tried to insert the hanger. In other words, like all the other junk we buy today, this could have been nice, but the engineers/manufacturers have only put about 60% effort into it, so I'm giving them the 60% stars they deserve. 3For a wall mount solution this would be fine. But that is not why I bought this ... I am still on the fence about keeping this product. I am trying to "make it work". The over the door hooks come apart from the frame that has the hooks. The slots on the frame where the hooks are supposed to fit is not snug. So the whole things falls off often. I am trying to find a place in my house where I can mount it on the wall. For a wall mount solution this would be fine. But that is not why I bought this to start with. 1It Must Be Drilled into Something, it's a permanently installed mechanism until it's unscrewed from wall or door, leaves holes Naaaa, there is no way to use this piece without drilling holes in doors or walls. The hanger piece will NOT say in the base piece withought the screws holding them in place, they slip right out. Kind of defeats the purpose of hanging clean clothes if they all fall down onto the floor. Even with nothing on the hanger piece, the piece will not stay in place with out the screws above each part holding the hooks into the base. I'm not looking for something I cannot move around and I have enough holes in this house to drill any more. This is exactly what I've been searching for, too. It's a really good quality piece, well coated, just what I'd been hoping for, no forced holes for hangers. But without the two hook-in pieces staying in place in the base because those two pieces are too short it cannot work for us. 2
