    I like the orange sheathing because my cord sticks out vs ...It was priced right and feels acceptably durable. Marinco feels more rubbery on the ends, this is a little more plastic if that makes sense.I like the orange sheathing because my cord sticks out vs rest on the dock. The thought of the cover adding abrasion protection is nice but concerned it will grow mung faster if it loops into the water.... time will tell. 5Sub standard ! Got a run around from customer service.Sorry, have to roast this company. The male end of the cable would not twist lock into my pedestal. I tried other pedestal. Thinking my marina's outlets were worn, I contacted them. The electrician showed me how every other power cord in the marina locked fine. Called for warranty, submitted emails and pictures. Got a run around, they wanted me to measure this and that, every time it was something else which is a little tough when you are not at your boat. I made a video showing the thing would not lock, had another male head to show indeed, this cable was defective and unsafe. No response from Conntek as of yet. You guys should have just sent me another cable, I have better things to do then exhaustively test your product that is clearly sub standard and unsafe. I mean, why would any boat owner go through this trouble ? 1Nice to have a White Power CordI finally found a white cord in a shorter length. I never did like the look of a yellow cord against the white gel coat. I searched and found this Conntek. this works exactly as it my old Marinco yellow cord. The red indicator light is nice to see the power is on. This 12 foot cord is the perfect length and I do not have to wrap it like a hose, and much easier and lighter to put in the storage bag. 5Not as advertisedProduct works as intended however the plastic screw connectors seem rather low quality & I doubt they will last long. It was also advertised as having a glow in the dark stripe which it does not. It does not glow or have a "safety glow" appearance. 2Nice qualityAdded this cable onto my existing to give me plenty of cable lengthto attach my shore power. 5better than expectedfor some reason, I was thinking that since the price was so good on this, that it would ber of lower quality.. whis would be absolutly fine with me... but i gotta tell you.. this cable is a beast! west marine has nothing on this,. great quality, great price. Thank you 5Very good quality. Glad I bought it.The cord itself is great quality. It is very flexible and easy to untwist when it starts to get... Um, twisted. My only complaint is that the threaded couplers are a bit too soft of a material and cross thread easily. Other than that, this cord is perfect. The lighted indicator and water tight coupler are a must have. My old extension cord fried due to water intrusion at the coupling. 4Dreadful productAwful, keeps tripping dock breaker, killed battery 2 on my boat, only in use 1 season. borrowed another cord and no issues with either breaker or boat 1Working greatWorking great 5Works and lastsUsed for the whole summer with no issues and lasted with no extra signs of wear 5
