Customer Reviews

Low price and quality can be achieved The cup is a sturdy plastic outer layer with what feels like silicone or textured ruber around the middle and the bottom. The bottom acts like a grip and has already saved me from tipping this over the edge of my desk. The color and size is exactly what I expected and the bottom is not warped at all. Its easy to clean and over all exactly what the description stated it was. 5Wobble-Dribble Cup Works for my purposes. Took me a while to figure out the lid screws off. I almost broke it trying to pry it off.===============================================After using this cup for a couple of months I'm downgrading my review from five stars to three. There are two issues with it. The lid has to go on just-so. If you don't get it right it becomes a dribble cup. Also, there's some kind of bulge on the bottom so it doesn't sit solid on a flat surface -- it wobbles. I guess that makes it a wobble-dribble cup. I find it's difficult to illustrate this wobble in a video but I'm adding my attempt to do this to my review. You can see the wobble better full screen.UPDATE 4-2016: Over a year later I'm still using this cup and now that I've figured out how to get the cap on tight it no longer dribbles. I thought of raising the rating to four stars but the wobble is still annoying. 3which I was greatful for (I hate getting somthing with unnessessary pagaging I mean it's a to-go mug, what more do you want? I wasn't particularly looking for anything flashy I just wanted something eco friendly. It came in a reasonable time and wasn't over-packaged, which I was greatful for (I hate getting somthing with unnessessary pagaging.) It's pro microwave which is great, because I usually have to microwave water for tea, and dishwasher safe means easy cleaning. Lastly, I have not had any leak issues especially since the cup holders in my car don't hold anything stable, this is a definite plus. If I ever need to buy another for a friend or an extra for myself, I'd buy again. 5lids hard to screw on correctly had a previous version of this cup and lost it. Liked the previous one so much, I bought 3 more in a bundle. But the lids on the new ones are hard to make sure they are on securely. Already had one spill. Need to hold cup down on counter and twist it on securely. Kind of a major design issue for a coffee mug. 3I wouldn't.... Since the first time I used it I knew it was a matter of time before it fail to close and hold the lid in place. Well, it took only a couple of weeks for the lid to overpass the locking position and keep turning and fail to lock. It didn't matter how careful I was closing it every time trying to avoid the unavoidable failure. Poor design and construction. 1I like my coffee lukewarm Apparently I'm old for my years...but I can't stand travel mugs that keep my coffee scalding. I like this mug because it lets the heat seep out so it's perfect drinking temperature in about 10 minutes. I recommend against wearing lipstick while drinking, though, because it doesn't come off the lid so easily. One time I wasn't careful about lining up the screw tracks on the lid and the base and ended up spilling all over myself. Other drawback is there is occasional splashback from the little ventilation hole on the lid. 4Piece of crap plastic I used this mug for hot beverages (as intended) for three days before, after a particularly hot cup of coffee, slivers of plastic peeled off the threads that screw on the lid and the sipping hole (for some inexplicable reason) cracked and split as if I'd taken a knife to it. The lid no longer screws tight and coffee seeps from the crack onto my shirt when I sip. Boo! I can only assume there were minor flaws or defects in the plastic after it was molded that cause the damage after exposure to high temperature, but it's not my job to come up with explanations why this piece of crap plastic is unsuitable for the purpose for which it was intended. Will be replacing with stainless steel and adding this to a landfill (since it's unclear whether it can be recycled). Sigh. I tried, but the planet would've been happier with my endless pack of compostable paper cups. 1Buy two! Great mugs for everyday use! There is nothing not to like about this travel mug! It has a locking feature lid which works well to prevent spills. We have collected several of these same mugs over the years and they last a very long time. It is comfortable to hold and does a nice job of keeping my coffee warm each day. I prefer these over the stainless steel mugs because they keep my beverage burning hot whereas this mug continues to keep my drink warm but not undrinkable. It has been a perfect mug for me to use every morning while I take my child to school. If you want your drink to stay pipping hot then perhaps another mug would better suit you. It has held up extremely well and I put it in the dishwasher everyday. You won t go wrong if you purchase this mug. If Inwere you I would buy two! 5Better than metal For hot beverages, I like these plastic Copcos better than metal vacuum-insulated tumblers. The metal ones keep it too hot for me; I like my coffee hot but not scalding. These keep 16oz of coffee at the right temperature for the ~30 minutes it takes me to drink 16 oz of coffee each morning. Easy to clean in the dishwasher, flow rate is good, you don't bump your nose on a flip-up lid, they look good, and are easy to hold. And they're cheaper than many/most of the decent metal ones. They are not spill-proof but even if you knock them over, it's not a disaster. Great for coffee in the car during your commute. I've been using these for years and only have replaced them b/c they've gotten lost or - strangely - a couple lids were wiped off with baby wipes and they picked up/kept that scent (which doesn't go well with coffee). The weird thing is the cups themselves don't really hold any smells, but the top/exterior of the lid did hold that "wipes" smell. The rubber sealing gasket in the lid has never worn out. 5Nice, but not what I expected A solidly-built mug with a nice no-slip grip, but perhaps I misread the description? The lid has a quarter-turn sealing mechanism which helps prevents against messy spills. I took this to mean that the lid twisted around to cover and uncover the sip hole. Wrong. It means the lid screws on slightly so it won t pop off. The sip hole can t be closed, so the contents will spill out if you jiggle the cup or if it falls over. And since the sip hole is always open, the double walled insulation is useless for hot drinks. All the heat escapes through the hole and my coffee stays warm for about fifteen minutes. If they sold a cover for the lid I might love this cup. 3
