Customer Reviews

GREAT CHOICE Excellent construction and relatively simple installation. I speak as one 75 years of age with severely arthritic hands. If I can install this device, nearly anyone can. I marked and pre-drilled and then used the power tool to install the supports. It was hung above the window over the sink. That wasted space now has purpose. 5Great for small kitchens Easy to install and perfect for small kitchens! If you have limited space to use a pot hanger like we did then you can't beat this for $40. We have a more expensive ceiling mount but it was to large to mount anywhere unobstructed. I saw this and it met our needs. Its very solid and looks more expensive than it was. 5Easy mounts. Works and looks great. Easy mounts. Works and looks great. Help greatly organize the space in my kitchen for a low cost. 5Works upside down TOO! I needed mine as close to the ceiling as possible because I have a small kitchen so I had my husband install it upside down and it works perfectly ! Great quality and looks sharp with my cuisinart set! 5Excellent Quality & Value I'm very impressed with the quality, heavy gauge stainless steel used in the construction of this pot rack and even the hooks and mounting hardware are more heavy duty than I expected. I purchased the Stainless Steel model and this is the product I'm reviewing here, so although I don't know what the other three model (Matte Black, Oil Rubbed Bronze & Polished Copper) are like, I'm guessing that they are also of high quality. I shopped around and looked at a number of different pot racks and I'm certainly glad that I purchased this one. Really nice! 5Functional, looks good, mounting hardware iffy It does the job, looks great, and is very sturdy. The key is obviously in how well it's mounted, as the instructions make clear. I have the rear mounts, which are 16" apart to line up with standard-spaced wall studs, in studs using the included lag bolts. The holes are big enough to allow some wiggle room, which is nice and also lets you fine tune to ensure that it's level. I have the center mount in drywall using the included toggle bolt anchor (which contrary to another reviewer's comment, is permitted by the instructions). Everything feels very sturdy this way.A couple notes:The instructions say drill a 3/8" hole in the drywall for this particular toggle bolt. Good luck getting it through that size hole. I had to drill 1/2" and then pound the bolt/anchor through with a hammer. Maybe they changed hardware but did not update the instructions? The included hex nut DID NOT fit the center bracket bolt. The center bracket attaches to the rack via one bolt that is welded to the inside of the rack. I assumed the nut was poorly machined and would thread on with some effort, but upon examination it appeared that the threads were finer than the bolt, no match. I was taken aback that a seemingly quality product could have such a glaring oversight. Not sure if I just got unlucky (no other review mentions this) or if there's a bad batch out there. Luckily I was able to rummage around my spare parts bin and find a nut with the correct threading, which proved the issue. Could easily be solved by someone else in the same spot with a quick trip to the hardware store and 20 cents, but still very annoying. When I get a chance to alert Cuisinart to this I will.If you have a different stud mounting scenario, you can drill through the stainless to create your own mounting hole provided you have some decent drill bits. Use a little 3-in-one oil and start with 1/8"; press hard, low RPMs to slowly to drill the initial hole. Then bore it out using increasing-sized drill bits. 4love love love this!!! looks great.. holds all my heavy Cuisinart pans. Was easy to install and makes me have more storage in my 5The Best Much heavier duty than it looks, very clean, uncomplicated design, works with almost any kitchen decor and it as sturdy and any I've come across.Very pleased with the product and highly recommend it. At the price of good pans these days, you gotta stop wrecking them by stacking them up on a shelf or in a cupboard. It's just terrible for them.Hanging is way, way better on them, saves so much wear and tear and this particular unit is easy to install, easy to use, easily holds 8 of those nice pans you finally splurged on after all those years of cooking with junk and, all in all, you really need one of these. 5Form follows function I looked at many, many pot racks before finally deciding on this one. The most important aspect was quality. I needed something that would be sturdy enough to hold about 75-100 lbs. I wanted something that would be easy to adhere to the wall (and not fall off or rip apart my wall!). Lastly, I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for something beautiful, but didn't work well.I'm so happy! The brushed stainless stays clean and matches other steels in the kitchen. It took about 10 minutes to attach to the wall. Read the instructions first. I would suggest you measure the area where you want to put it - making sure you know where the studs are. These are set at 18 inches and we were able to connect all 3 studs (one on top and two across the bottom). I measured before I bought! 5Sturdy, durable, amazing quality! Our new pot rack is amazing! Extremely easy to set up, durable, sturdy, beautiful stainless steel. 5
