    Great product We were using an oval pyrex roasting pan with a rectangular pyrex pan on top as a cover to roast chicken. Worked fine although the seal was questionable. And then one day it smoked out the house. We bought the Granite Ware 15 Inch Covered Oval Roaster to solve the problem. It did. Fits a 5lb chicken no problem, with plenty of room for vegetables. And if you need a roasting rack that fits perfectly, try the Harold Imports 11-3/4-by-8-1/2-Inch Oval Roasting Rack . 5Two swings, two strikes, it's outa here. I thought this would be a nice little addition to the kitchen, however when it arrived it had a dent/finish blemish.No problem, contacted Amazon and returned for a replacement. Easy enough.When the replacement arrived, it too had the same type of defect. I know it is an inexpensive item and has fairly thin metalbut I would hope that it would at least arrive in good condition and let me be the one to bang it up.Neither box had any damage which indicates that the defects came from the factory. Can you say quality control???? 1Graniteware may not be as good of quality as it once was. I returned due to 2 holes near the handle. Too bad. Nice that it comes with a rack but after further research I don't think chrome platted (rack) is a healthy choice. Love the natural non-stick surface of the pan, though. Decided not to replace. 2This roaster arrived in damaged shape. I sent it ... This roaster arrived in damaged shape. I sent it to my mother in Florida and just came to her house from Chicago today. I was heart broken to see the condition the pan was in. it was all dented up, with chips and large dents on both ends of the top and bottom of the pan and top. My mom didn't say anything to my because she didn't want to hurt my feelings!. Now it's too late to return the thing, so I will throw it wawy, because she has wasged it once, and it is all rusted around the dents....VERY DISSAPOINTED This should have never been sent in this condition 5Some times, the old things just work better My mom and aunts used to bake in this same pan with amazing, consistent results. I have been trying different pots and pans for the past thirty years and have finally reached the conclusion that some things are just better as they originally were, like this pan. I am so thrilled to have this. My first batch of stuffed peppers came out exactly as they should. The pan is the perfect size for meals and leftovers. The top is high enough to allow for room as well, without smashing the food down. Baked chicken with plenty of room for carrots, celery and potatoes. To think of all the time and money I have spent for things I had to toss because they just couldn't do the job. Very happy with my USA made purchase. 5BECAUSE I LOVED YOUR SMALLER ROASTER I GOT THE 15" FOR THAT ... I HAVE USED THE 13" SIZE FOR YEARS TO COOK MY ROASTS IN. RECENTLY I RETIRED MY LARGE ALUMINUM ROASTERS BUT NEEDED ONE TO ROAST MY CHICKEN IN. BECAUSE I LOVED YOUR SMALLER ROASTER I GOT THE 15" FOR THAT PURPOSE. I ALSO GOT ONE FOR MY DAUGHTER AND GRANDDAUGHTER. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOUR PANS. 5Very happy and pleased with it! Amazing product and truly a non-stick pot. I did my Croatian Peka dish and it came out exquisite! 5Defect There is a chip in the paint... 3It is exactly what I ordered and I have used ... It is exactly what I ordered and I have used this kind of roaster for 50 years. The only thing that I found was today and it only has one handle on the end. If you look at the picture, you will see a handle on both ends and mine only has a handle on one end. 4Perfect Size This is the perfect size Roaster for a small roast and vegtables or a whole chicken. I almost ordered a size up after reading the reviews but I am glad I didnt. This is such a great size when preparing meals to feed a family of 4! Everything I have made in this pan has turned out great! 5
