    Not as pictured and not Hansgrohe I received a different item than pictured (rounded) and not marked Hansgrohe. It did not arrive in a Hansgrohe box nor with original instructions. It is not Hansgrohe. 1It's a soap dispenser that'll match your faucet. Problem solved. I think it's good--it's not flashy, but I didn't want anything too crazy. Matches my Hansgrohe faucet perfectly (obviously), so that was the main goal. The dispenser holds a great amount of liquid, and it seems sturdy and decently built. Others had complained a bit about the pump--mine's perfect, works great. 4This dispenser was purchased to replace my horrible old soap dispenser This dispenser was purchased to replace my horrible old soap dispenser. Being a 75 year old lady who lives alone I decided to tackle the exchange. To do this project I had to lay on my back and wedge my head under and behind the garbage disposal, focus a small flashlight upward and reach up with a screwdriver to remove the old one. It took some doing but I did it. To attach the new one I placed a heavy object on the dispenser from above to keep it from moving while I reached up from below to screw on the plastic bottle. This went smoothly as I had gained dexterity removing the crappy old one. One word of caution...keep a cell phone handy when doing a project like this. I can just imagine the news article about finding the body of a woman whose head is stuck behind her garbage disposal.My efforts were worth it. The unit fills from above and does not need priming with each use. Great purchase. 5Spout Too Short The spout is too short to reach the sink. I got this to use for dishwashing liquid. If you use it for hand soap or lotion it wouldn't be a problem. I am now looking for a replacement and I see that the current Hansgrohe model has a flat tip and not rounded like this one but it's just as short.. It's wobbly and spout swivels too easily giving it an unstable feel but it does look nice. 22 stars for the following reasons.... When drilling holes in your new marble or granite countertop, the "standard" hole offset in the building industry is to put the holes 2" back from the end of the sink. However, the spouts on these hansgrohe soap dispensers are too short and you'll need to drill a hole closer to the edge of the sink unless you want soap falling onto your top. So your large faucet hole and your "soap" hole cannot be in perfect alignment which is a little stupid and looks amateurish / DIY / do it yourself hack ish.The escutcheon cover is also too small and these are fairly "cheap" in terms of quality. 2 stars for the reasons above.These reviews take a fair amount of time so click the button below if they are helpful. 2Easy to pump & high quality We bought a $20 soap dispenser from Home Depot that looked good, but it was too hard to press. Tried it for two weeks. It took your whole hand to press and dispense soap. Couldn't stand it, so we bought this one. In one hand, you can hold the dish cloth and pump soap with your thumb or finger very easily. And I was a bit worried about the slope of the nozzle, thinking that it would cause soap to run down the nozzle and to the pump. Hasn't happened yet. And it looks great. Much higher quality than the one we got from HD.Very pleased. Highly recommended. 5Excellent style and finish but not that great a dispenser Happy with the finish since it matches our HG faucet and the bottle is good sturdy quality. The issue is that the pump action is not smooth and doesn't squirt a consistent amount of soap. Every time we use it seems like it might be the last time it works properly. Seems that the pump mechanism for this very expensive dispenser isn't better than much cheaper products. Expected more from a high end product from HG. 3High quality, worth the price. Looks good with Hansgrohe steel optik faucet A high quality soap dispenser. The head and base are thick brushed stainless steel that looks perfect with the Hansgrohe steel optik kitchen faucets. If you already have a Hansgrohe steel optik faucet, don't buy a cheaper soap dispenser that will look a bit "off", buy this one. The thread for the pump is brass, not plastic, as you would expect from a quality (and pricey) dispenser. 5Easy to install Matches our Hansgrohe Talis M kitchen faucet same "steel optic" finish. Fits in a 1-1/2-inch hole in our granite countertop. Easy to install: the old soap dispenser I removed had a thin steel nut screwed tight against the countertop. Upside down under the kitchen sink, I struggled with a wrench in a very tight space to remove it. To install the Hansgrohe, you just finger-tighten a big plastic nut with fins designed to provide easy grip. Brilliant design! 5Good quality and looks great I bought some cheap soap dispensers from the local big box hardware stores and have had to replace them every couple of years. My brother has had his for over 6 years without any issues so now that my fourth cheap one broke, I decided to order this one and hope it lasts as long as my brother's. Installation was easier than the cheap ones because the plastic "nut" is very large and therefore easy to grasp and turn. Hand tightening it was enough which is great because it's difficult to work in that narrow area under and behind the sink. If I have any issues, I'll update this review but I don't anticipate any. 5
