Customer Reviews

Best kneepads I ever bought I've been through so many different types of kneepads over the years. Most of them have been uncomfortable, giving me blisters behind the knees, keep falling off, and some did only a passable job of protecting my knees while I'm on all fours hammering nails or something. KP Industries Knee Pro Ultra Flex III Knee Pads (Coyote Tan) are breath of fresh air. They're just well-designed for the job. Although I believe they came out of some sort of military design, don't think twice about using them for construction or anything else that puts you on your knees. There's a nice thick pad behind the knee area two piece articulating design really makes it fit better and stay in place much longer. The bands are adjustable for tightness and have a quick release mechanism, so you'll be able to adjust them once maybe twice to get them right and then thereafter they just pop on and off. I like these so much I have two pairs of them. 5Love them. Good design. Can put them on relative loose yet they don't drop down I bought more than 10 different pairs of knee pads ranging from $10 to $50 over the years trying to find one that fits right without dropping down or leaving marks behind the knees. I had disappointment after disappointment until I found this. These knee pads are nice. They don't drop easily so I didn't have to tighten the straps so no marks behind the knees.I wore them for 2 full working days working general construction involving a lot of standing up and sitting down. I didn't have to pull them up once. I was happy with them by the end of the days.I took a star off because of the strap latching mechanism. They are too small making it hard to put on and take off, especially with the retaining loops sliding up next to the latches and with gloves.I'll probably modify it to use snapping buttons to make it easier. 4Exelente. Muy buenas, Yo trabajo en roofing y me son muy util ya que casi siempre ando de rodillas en el trabajo. Las recomiendo mucho son de buen material y durareras. Comprare mas despues. 5Buy now!!!! I work on flat roofs and I can wear these for 12 hours at a time. Best knee pads on the market. Last for years with heavy abuse. About 25 guys I work with own a pair of these and none of them have had problems. Only need to replace if we end up losing them or something 5KP Industries Knee Pro Ultra Flex III Knee Pads- good but suffers usability and longevity issues KP Industries Knee Pro Ultra Flex III Knee Pads:Pros: I've had many knee pads to include very expensive and with specialized materials. These are very comfortable if not the most comfortable I've had. They stay put on the knees very well. They are comfortable for a big guy like me when they are fitted over thick pants (Carhartt coveralls) and reasonably comfortable when in shorts (the plastic edges can dig in a bit).Cons: I knocked a star because the straps and latches are lacking. The elastic straps are flimsy and cheap- they stretch out easily and don't last all that long in comparison to the more expensive pads I've used. The latches are flimsy plastic and rather hard to feed into the hole to latch. The pads are tightened on the latches- all that excess elastic band gets in the way of latching and I found it hard if not impossible to latch with gloves on. The part of the plastic latch that feeds through the hole to fasten, I don't expect that to last long.Recommendation for improvement: Get a better latching and retention system (i.e. metal latches that can be latched with gloves, more sturdy alternative to elastic) and you'll have a top notch if not unrivaled knee pad.Bottom Line: Good pads but best treated as cheap and disposable. 4Durable These knee pads offer the best protection that I have seen in my nineteen years as a carpenter. The weak spot is the plastic rivet that works as a pivot point but they last for a long time before that goes bad. Put a dab of glue between the outer shell and the padding to hold everything in place and and you will have no problems for quite a while, even with rough use. 5This has been the best purchase I have made in a while I don't ... This has been the best purchase I have made in a whileI don't know why I didn't buy some of these years agoIf I had my knees probably would have been in better shape now.Love them I crawled around in the attic for 8 hours straight pulling wires and knees never felt the first impact.normally I can't walk the next day after about a hour of that activity.Great Great product and seems to be fairly durable 5these knee pads are excellent. im a tile guy / finish carpenter these knee pads are excellent. im a tile guy / finish carpenter. i spend most of my day on my knees. ( this is what a college degree gets you these days )unlike many other pads i have tried, these do not roll off your knee or drop with either shorts or long pants onextremely LIGHT. no chaffing. no rash. no discomfort unlike others.the " gel filled " pads from the orange store are now going in the back of my tool box. 5Great cushion and Stay in place Great knee pads that stay in place and provide excellent knee protection. I recently used them for 30-40 hours of kneeling in a single week and they were both comfortable and flexible with good range of motion and knee cap cushioned protection. This is my second set and I now keep them in two locations so they are more easily accessible when doing a variety of work projects around my home. 5... a flooring installer for 20+ yrs and I really like these compared to many other knee pads I've used I'm a flooring installer for 20+ yrs and I really like these compared to many other knee pads I've used. the straps don't bunch up behind your knees and they stay up and don't keep sliding down or sideways. nice and lightweight too. plus there's slits you can use for the straps if the plastic tabs break. so far so good. 5
