    Definitely purchase rechargeable batteries. This Lantern is perfect for outdoors on a table. Just tap the top lightly, and there's a low medium and high setting. However, I wouldn't recommend it unless you had rechargeable batteries, which I purchased from Amazon. Otherwise, batteries only last about a week and a half, using it for about an hour every evening. It won't light up your whole backyard, but it is good for putting in the middle of a table, outside for the evening. It illuminates the table enough so you don't have to turn on your porch light. 5LED 3 Level Auto Off Light is Great Lights work great as described. Advanced features.3 way dimming light controls the number of LEDs that illuminate. Can find the right lighting level for your task. The auto off feature is helpful when you don't want the light on all night. As far as I can tell you can not shut off the auto off feature.Pay close attention to the descriptions because similar lights have different features or none, just on and off. They are not advertised as or designed for all weather. They have a sturdy base where they would not be easily tipped over. The listed dimensions are accurate.I would buy them again if I needed more. I will enjoy them on my windy deck and other inside locations for years to come.I recommend this light if the descriptiln meets your needs. 5Beautiful, functional, impressive on my tables I've had some nice stainless steel battery powered lamps similar to this for years. They use a large lead-acid battery that I've replaced a few times. But the units aren't made anymore. I needed more lights so a friend of mine showed me these units. I ordered 4 of them and they are GREAT! They use cheap AA batteries and look very high-end quality. The light pattern is a nice color and glare is at a minimum. Easy on the eyes. I run them on mid-level power on outdoor dining tables and get many compliments and inquires about them. 5Super Deal and Works Great These are the greatest especially for emergency power situations and look nice enough to leave out. Power went off other night ( car must have hit a pole ) and it was down for 30 min or so these came in hande to see since it was really dark. Funny how you never notice all the light till it goes off and bam it is darker than pitch. Touch one of these and voila light LED runs forever YAY. I bought a tiny one at first then 3 big ones and will buy more for family at Christmas they will make nice gifts. 5Well made and useful I have an electricity-wasteful habit of falling asleep while watching TV at night, and leaving a light on at the same time. No more. This little lamp is like an electronic candle. It gives me some battery-powered light and, if necessary, turns itself off after four hours. It's well made with a rubber grip on the bottom so that it won't get knocked off a table. The flared design makes it easy to carry around, if desired. I like it. 5Really Nice and Effective Lantern We use this lantern on the kitchen counter to illuminate the area when getting a glass of water at night. The LED lighting is perfect to see with and it doesn't blind you and hurt your eyes after waking up or become adjusted to the room darkness. The kids like to use it at their table while they eat. No problem during a power failure to be able to see in comfort. Buy this one! 5Pretty slick, overall It does not fill a room with light, but it does illuminate a table without a cord. It feels a little like a camp light because of the white LEDs and a can of sod-pop is about 2/3s the size of this lamp. It is pretty nice for that dark table that is far away from an outlet and it only needs 3 AA batteries. So yeah, it's pretty slick. 4GREAT light! We got a new outdoor table, and the hole is too small for an umbrella. So at night we had nothing to clip on the great outdoor umbrella light to provide light at the table for cards etc. This works PERFECTLY!!! I love that we can use it outside, but it's nice enough that we can use inside if needed, especailly if we lose power. Love a purchase that can be used 2 ways. 5
