    I love this set I love this set. My brother introduced me to the art of cast iron cookware on our last camping trip. This set is the first cast iron set I can call my own, and I love it. It's the only piece I've found that offers a covered Dutch oven or sauce pan with a lid that doubles as a shallow handled pan. I'm not a great cook, but the concept of cast iron cooking has been easy to master. So far I've cooked eggs, fried rice, bacon and pancakes, and all turned out great. For someone who has never cooked scrambled eggs without Teflon, I've been impressed. You may have to use a little more oil at first than you're used to, but once the surface is properly seasoned, it evens out. Just be sure to follow the care instructions and don't scour or scrub your cast iron. You'll love how you can cook at a lower temperature, evenly browning and cooking your food. When it seems like it's sticking to the pan, just let it cook a little longer, and the outside of your food will crisp up and release from the pan. Cleaning is easy. Just scrape away with a plastic spatula, use warm water if necessary, rinse and place back on your stovetop with a clean coat of high quality oil. It's now my favorite pan to cook with! My next purchase will probably be a two burner sized cast iron griddle. I love the Lodge brand because the prices are great, the items are high quality, and they arrive on your doorstep quickly and even pre-seasoned. 5
