    Amazing Design! Wonderful baking pan. I've always used a bundt cake pan for my Tofu Turkey, but I used the Yule Log for it at Christmas this year. It was a spectacular hit! 5Just be sure to brush the inside liberally with melted butter, and dust with cocoa powder before pouring the batter Bunche de Noel made easy. You can prepare any type of cake batter for this pan. 5Best Yule Log Pan Ever! The pan is incredible. The recipe provided couldn t be easier or tastier. We did not make a marbled cake, though. Used a triple fudge cake mix and sprinkled chocolate chips into the center. Added a simple, light glaze while the cake still sat on wire cooling rack. Used a rectangular cake cardboard and dusted with powdered sugar just before serving. Still moist on the 3rd Day of Christmas. Thank you, Nordicware! 5LOVE this pan I got this pan to make a Christmas Cake: I wanted to do a Buche de Noel but that was beyond my available time and technical abilities. This pan was GREAT; it heated evenly, cleaned off like a dream, and released the cake with no issues. I used a recipe that was intended to make 3, 9 inch layers (a rightly-famous red wine chocolate cake); this pan required 2/3 of the batter and yielded a slightly poofy top that I trimmed to level the cake. You would probably be safe making one full cake recipe, intended to make two 9 inch layers, to fill the pan. The one challenge that I encountered was that it took MUCH longer to bake than the directions for the layer cake, approximately twice as long. I thought this might be because it was more similar to a loaf than a layer pan, but I found a similar loaf recipe and this took much longer than the loaf as well. So: be prepared to guestimate on the cooking time, and check regularly until it is done. 5Easy Yule Log I used to buy Busche de Noels from my favorite bakery, but have moved and haven't found a good bakery. So this year I ordered this pan and produced a lovely Yule Log. I used Martha Stewart's marble cake recipe, dusted the finished cake with powdered sugar, and added decorations. The decorations were rosemary twigs dipped in egg white and then powdered sugar. Added cranberries for holly. Piped whipped cream around the base. Wish I could post a photo, it looked awesome!! I buttered the pan before putting in the batter, forgot to dust it with flour, but it came out like a dream with all the detail. It is a solid pan and I'll use it for many years to come. 5Makes a beautiful log cake Makes a beautiful log cake, but be careful transferring it from the cooling rack to a plate, as it will break in the middle. 5Five Stars Its a beautiful log pan (cake) for the holiday's. Makes an awesome gift cake for family/friends. 5My new fav pan This is an amazing pan..didnt stick once right out of the box. I also always use floured pan spray 5Made A Pretty Cake This cake form made the perfect shaped Yule Log for our Yule celebration. Clean-up was a breeze, too! 5Christmas log Worked well. Grease pan well. Comes out eaeily. Make the marble cake recipe that comes with pan. Make a glaze of powdered sugar ,butter and milk, , very loose. and paint it on with pastry brush. Used some green for the holly. Looked great. Add some red candies for berries. 5
