    Mom Approved!! Bought this for mom's birthday and she is over the moon about it. This is every Italian grandmother's dream come true. The garlic comes out perfect every time. I highly recommend this product 5A waste of money Quite honestly, I have only tried this once, and it was in the microwave. Someone in some review said it worked great. That was a disaster and the garlic steamed but was a total different consistency than roasted garlic. The reason I haven't tried roasting it is that it only held 2 heads and I need more than that so it makes more sense just to wrap each one in foil and roast what I need. This was a total waste of money. 2It came broken The person who pavked just put it ... It came brokenThe person who pavked just put it in a box with no cushion top and bottom so it broke 1One Star Arrived in pieces so I returned. 1Broken When I received it, it was broken. 1Perfect little garlic roaster I soak the lid for 20 minutes then bake for 50 minutes at 325 degrees. The roasted garlic was perfect! I'm storing the extra in the fridge. Yum. 5Great Garlic Roaster Used it today for the first time and it worked great. I cooked two normal-size garlic bulbs in it at the same time and they fit fine. One thing I didn't see very well explained in the description and reviews is that you need to soak the lid in water for 10 minutes before you start. I cooked them at 325 for 1:10 and they could probably have cooked a little longer, but they all still looked beautiful and nothing got burnt. 5Works well, but can get the same effect with a bowl and plate I like using this to create roasted garlic for use on focaccia. It works well and best when you place the garlic cut side down on the bottom and then drizzle this with some olive oil. When I have not had access to this (i.e., when away), I have gotten the same effect by taking a small saucer and a bowl, and putting that in the oven. If you are interested in roasting garlic yourself but only only once or twice, I would skip this purchase. If you know real garlic lovers, this is a perfect/thoughtful gift even though it is not really needed. 4such fun~ I got this as a gift from my daughter about 15 years ago.... it is WONDERFUL!! So this particular purchase was a Christmas gift for a good friend who was telling me that she has only cooked her garlic in foil.OH MY! This little, inexpensive item will make a garlic-addict out of you! It is so simple to use, and so attractive to serve.A "must" for garlic-lovers....makes eating healthy garlic lots of fun, not just yummy. 5Is easy and easy to clean I have used this several times and everyone luvs the way the garlic turns out. Is easy and easy to clean. I luv this! 5
