    sturdyas expected5A bit larger than expectedI should've gotten out a ruler to really figure out the size of this. I have a similar smaller one that I use with my cast iron skillet. I love the smaller one and use it daily. Paired with the cast iron skillet, cooking is a dream. I loved the old one so much that I didn't want to take a chance of it breaking or getting lost, so I ordered this one. It is really too large to use easily with my skillet. It would be better for use with the grill. I've only had it over the winter when we don't do much grilling, so I haven't used it for that yet. It is well made but doesn't match what I wanted it for.3Flippin' GreatI never thought I'd ever get attached to a spatula, but this has become a favorite tool in my humble kitchen. I bought this to use with my cast iron skillets. It Is GREAT. My Norpro spat had a slight waviness on the edges of the wood handle... like the production line missed the final smoothing out step on the wood ( I am a detail oriented wood worker and what I perceived as a flaw might not be an issue for another buyer). I gave mine a quick 10 minute hand sanding on the handle for an awesome "in the hand feel". I followed that up with a quick rub down with some high oil padding varnish for a good looking and washable wood finish. BTW, the handle didn't appear to have any protective finish on it from the get go. This thing was LESS THAN 7 BUCKS and I still feel it deserves 5 stars as a nice tool with a great "bang for the buck" provision. I just chose to improve on it a bit with 50 cents worth of materials I had on hand. It is my understanding that the Dexter Russel brand spatula (18 dollars on Amazon) is a higher end spatula of the same general size. I originally considered purchasing that one but I went with Norpro to save 11 dollars.5try this out!get one of these - they work! the narrow blade with a straight edge is a very versatile and useful design. Of course, do not use with non-stick.5I like this toolI like this tool. My son has special needs and I make little ground turkey patties called sliders in a skillet. I make a lot of them at a time to conserve energy (mine and the utilities). So they are too close together to use an egg turner. This works perfectly, The quality is great. I love the comfortable wooding handle and it is securely riveted, so after all this time it is still perfect. Also the front blade is sharp and square, so it slides right under the meat which tends to stick since I use very little oil. Others I have used are blunt and somewhat round so if the meat is stuck, it tears instead of lifting off the skillet.So that is what I use it for and it works perfectly. I have also used it for baked cookies and rolls either on wax or parchment paper or directly on a cookie pan, with the same perfect results.5Great little spatula!This is well built and I loved that the handle is wood and not plastic. Seems like it could take a little abuse and hold up for a while. I bought it for grilling and to use on my cast iron griddle. So far so good, I'll update my review after some use.4Worth the money!Just wish it had a beveled edge otherwise perfect.4No beveled edgeThe spatula is a good size for small skillets. There is one glaring weakness in the product in that the front edge is not beveled. Like it would have killed them to bevel the front edge.3Kitchen ESSENTIAL!Use it ALL the TIME.Had to replace my wife's original after 30 years of use!5Works on Flipping EggsWork so well in flipping eggs die to its thin spatula. Probably need a wider spatula, prbably an inch wider. I could not find this same dimension buts wider on Amazon. This seems to be the perfect length5
