    Great little mixer for little jobs I stock up on these when I can find them. Pre-Amazon, grocery stores used to occasionally carry these. They're inexpensive, they work well for mixing small amounts of powders with liquids. The ones I used to buy only had the plastic blender stick so it's nice to have the extra attachments to try out. I've had earlier versions last a couple of years. These mixers do eventually wear out but you can get your money's worth by using it properly and taking care of it. You can't get the housing wet. You can't blend large or thick amounts of stuff like cake mixes or brownies or mashed potatoes. I've never had the problem of being able to get the batteries out but the recommendation of putting a ribbon under the batteries to help with removal is a great proactive idea. Someone suggested using silicone grease on some of the parts, which is probably ok for non-food mixing but not something you'd want to take a chance on getting slung or dripped into your food.I've tried another name brand (Brxxx) stainless steel version that cost a lot more but didn't do half as well or last as long as these little mixers. Will keep buying these as long as they keep making them. 4
