    Pieces did not fit togetherTons of pieces to put together and the dowels did not fit snugly so it was impossible to put together securely. I returned the item. 1I love my (alter) coffee table, it is beautiful, very easy to assemble!!The table makes my small living area look so unique - it was very simple to assemble!! 5poorly madei expected a better made and more detailed piece than what i received. the edges were rough and detail pieces where flimsey and did not fit very well. 1I was robbedI really liked the design - the picture is really attractive, I was afraid I would damage it if I didn't have a nice runner to put on top of it so I just unpacked & assembled it 2 weeks ago - WHAAAAT A DISAPPOINTMENT !!!the corners of the table top aren't joined well, they're cracked but also glue sealed in place so, it's up to me to fill in the spaces, the wood top has warping in spots & the wood stain in the carved part of the top ( I can't remember what that's called) is chipped and comes off at the touch .... this is NOT "heirloom quality asian joinery, built to last"it is also NOT "fine hand rubbed finish, classic hand carved key design sprandles" this is a factory cut, assembly line machine engineered piece of crap - ALSO - this might be all wood but it is NOT all SOLID wood - the table top arrived chipped and it's clear that it's wood grain with a wood veneer, which is not as strongThis is clearly an assembly line product because the holes to insert the sprandles do not line up well - so they are lose - this is a $30 piece of crap that, including shipping and tax, cost me $282 - 1
