Customer Reviews

BEST correction fluid...I have been using Pentel Correction Fluid for many years. It's difficult to find anymore andI was thrilled to see that Amazon sells it. Yes, even in this electronic/digital age correctionfluid is still a necessity. For those of us who still use handwriting this can't be beat. The pen style is new to me and I was wondering if it would work as good as the littlebottle with the ball-tip. It works just as well if not better and doesn't clog up and get thickand gloppy. It dries quickly and is easy to write over. You need only a tiny bit for good results.Just be sure to click the cap on when not in use. It lasts a good long time. Great product! 5This is kinda the bestI'm addicted to correction pens and I ordered this one because it looked like the wider mouth would have a better delivery system. And it does. There is no sticky, clogged up opening. So at first I was sure that this was The One.But as in many relationships, the very quality that is so attractive at first turns out to be a problem later. In this case, the Pentel Presto Jumbo Correction Pen shoots out a *lot* of correcting fluid, which can leave a sticky bump that takes a while to dry and can be hard to write over.Problem solving: Wipe away excess with a tissue, right away. But it is good stuff, just a little over-enthusiastic. 4Best white-out correction pen in the world by farI used the Pentel Presto for years, finding it to be the best pen-type white-out available, but in the last number years it was impossible to find stores (Office Max, Office Depot, Staples, FedEx, Target, Walmart, Kmart, Best Buy, etc). I don't know why the best product by far in this particular category, from a major company, is unavailable in retail stores. I just thought to check Amazon for it and have ordered a dozen. I've tried various other brands: the BIC correction pen fluid is not opaque enough to cover ink, a major flaw in a so-called white-out product; the next best I've found is made by Liquid Paper, but it requires periodic squeezing of the reservoir bulb and is thus a little balky to get started and control the flow of fluid; too much may come out at first or during periodic squeezes. The Pentel Presto seems to have a pump action in the tip that maintains a steady air pressure in the reservoir container, or shaking it somehow pumps air into it, or the heat of your hand increases the air pressure, or it's slightly pressurized from the factory--I don't know but--it never needs squeezing, is very precise, and very opaque. Again, I don't understand why the best product of its kind in the world, from one of the major pen companies, is not carried in stores anymore. I think anyone who likes this product should order at least a dozen in case it goes out of production; I am not affiliated with Pentel and I don't know if it's in danger of discontinuation, I'm just speculating. Better yet, everyone who likes this product should call the office supply stores and demand that they carry it; or write to Congress (just kidding). PS I maybe wrong about the Pentel correction pen never needing squeezing; it sometimes seems to need a little pressure on the reservoir to get it started. 5PerfectJust what I've been waiting for. I've seen others use it and I kept forgetting to purchase it, and now I finally have it. Works amazingly. Although it says fine point it's not extremely fine point (definitely about 2.0mm thick), so if you're looking for something that draws very thin, this isn't for you. But this works well for me. Does a good job covering up ink. 5Love this over dipping the little brush in the jarLove this over dipping the little brush in the jar. SO much easier and handy. Same streaking as the jar liquid but ease of use is much improved. Missing the star because it is still spotty at times. 4Works great!I had a few things I needed to clean up in my check register. When I opened up one of my bottles of white out it was gummy and goopy and a month later it still feels a bit sticky to the touch on the areas I used it on. I ordered a Pentel Presto pen and it works wonderful! So much nicer than the brush-on stuff that never seems to dry or glide on smoothly once it's been used more than a few times. I love this stuff...lightly squeeze the side and it glides right over leaving a smooth correction. And it dries fast and doesn't dry sticky.1/12/16 - A few years later and I still haven't used this little correction pen up yet. I don't use it very often, but when I need it the correction ink still flows like new and there is no clumping. So much better than the brush on white out type correction fluids. 5Yeah, great correction fluid!I needed a correction pen that I could use to cover up the outlines of adult coloring books. Frenchtons illustration of clouds I have to cover up the lines because I can't feather the edges with various Shades because of the lines it's too abrupt. This pan covers lines and I can actually use my coloring pencils on top of it whereas other brands the coloring pencils will barely write on top of the correction fluid. 5Love using this for artworkI may not be the average user of this pen, but I adore it. I am artist who works in black ink for my illustration work and I am on the eternal quest to find a great way to add white - for details, corrections, or effects. Normally, these type of pens do not flow well or consistently. This one works AMAZING. I will admit to finally trying it because I saw comic book legend, Jim Lee, using one in a video. Best decision I've made in a long time. Try it out if you want smooth flowing white ink that covers well. 5Not fine and does not flow easily.Mine didn't come in a retail package like the picture but loose without any packaging as if it was one from within a 25 count box. First time using a correction pen and I was disappointed. The flow was not fine and had to squeeze it before any liquid came out. I thought it would come out automatically when pressed down but it didn't. Had to squeeze it and it comes out goopy or too much when it comes initially, not a fine line. I was using as a fine line paint to fill in fine engravings but it didn't work well. Too much liquid comes out and had to use tissue and toothpicks to wipe off the excess but it does stays on metal. If using for fine line artwork, I think you'll be disappointed as too much liquid flows out I didn't try writing on the dried liquid so can't say how effective it is as what it was made for but it did dry quickly. I rated it a three star because it was not fine, comes flowing out too much and I didn't get it in a retail package like the picture. 3I would in no way call this a fine point penI would in no way call this a fine point pen, but that's okay, it was exactly what I had hoped it was! Although the paint is not quick-drying, this is a fantastic white-out pen. 4
