Customer Reviews

It really makes it guilt free to open a nice bottle of wine even if you want just one ...If you are a red wine drinker, you really must use this product at home (unless you drink the bottle in one sitting every time!). I tested this once to see how long it would preserve the wine, and if properly used it worked for 10+ days. It really makes it guilt free to open a nice bottle of wine even if you want just one glass. It's basically the same gas used in the proper commercial wine bar systems, in a home use format. 5Wine stays fresh for days; cheap, clean, easy. This is an economic and easy way to preserve wine. I tried a few other systems, vacuum pump, etc... but they don't work. On the other hand this works extremely well and is relatively cheap since you only need a squirt or gas to preserve the wine remaining in the bottle. Wine stays fresh for days... haven't tried longer because I drink the wine, but I expect ti will work well for even a few weeks. The inert gas is heavier than air and seals the wine from whatever other air in in the bottle. 5The stuff works like a charmThe stuff works like a charm. I used to use a system that used cartridges which worked just as well but was a whole lot more expensive. My wife and I are complete lightweights and it takes us a week to finish a bottle of wine. We store the wine in the fridge as well for what it's worth. We use it to help keep other things as well such as vermouth, ports, lime juice, etc. Anything that suffers from long term exposure to air. I wish they made the cans smaller or somehow more attractive though. They're a bit ungainly to put into my small liquor cabinet where they're stored. 5Not Perfect, But Strongly RecommendedI have used this spray several time now with various wines and spirits. The can itself comes with very clear instructions and is very easy to use. I performed a direct comparison of about an ounce of top shelf whiskey to see how this compares to just air as a storage medium. After 24 hours inside a sealed glass bottle the whiskey stored with the preservation gas tasted like it had degraded a little bit compared to a new bottle but was still easily drinkable. The whiskey stored in a sealed bottle with normal air had degraded beyond the point on drinking, being reduced to the level of an off-brand well whiskey. Wine preservation showed a similar result. I would highly recommend this for anyone who drinks alcohol in moderation and would like to preserve the higher quality bottles. The price is amazing for the amount of use you will get out a single can, let alone the two that comes in this pack. 5Essential item in your cupboard if you drink red wineIt does a good job. Don't be shy, though, about really putting a number of blasts of it into the bottle. You might feel like you hate to waste it, but a single can of this costs the same as that half-bottle of wine you're trying to save. I usually use a 7 or 8 second spray. And then, unlike a lot of folks, I pump on it with a Vac-u-Vin type of vacuum pump as well. Yes, in principle that sucks a little bit of the bouquet out of the wine, but the wine can survive it once, and a little loss of bouquet is better than a small amount of oxidation. 5It works Argon gas preserves open wine bottles for a long timeA bit too expensive but the idea is great. Argon gas makes the wine last for months after opening. I like the idea so much that I installed a canister of argon gas in my mini bar.Wines and especially red wine oxidizes and goes bad usually after one or two days after opening. I left it for three weeks and it was still very drinkable. 5one worked greatOne of the bottles of wine preserver worked just fine, but when I depress the button on the second bottle nothing at all happens, like an empty can of spray paint. I thought I was getting a deal by ordering the two-pack, but since the chance to return the product was over by the time I got to the second bottle, I lose out. The seller ignored my complaint, so will never buy again. 2Keeps alcohol freshCan is weightless so one wonders if there is anything in it. There certainly is, as it turns out. One shot of this stuff into an open bottle of any alcohol preserves the remaining alcohol in the bottle, keeping it fresh. After opening bottle and pouring out the amount of alcohol that you want, squirt this stuff in and quickly re-cork bottle. I have used this as many as on three different occasions for same bottle and taste remains fresh. The Preserve itself also lasts a very long time. I highly recommend.. 5This really worksI'll be honest I don't drink wine but But it seems everyone else in the family does. Over the years they have bought several gadgets to help the wine last a few days before it goes bad. Usually there big and bulky, so storing them can be a challenge, and they never work very well. I happened to be looking online for a way to keep my Gorilla glue from turning rock hard. In a post some one suggested I use this stuff. It turns out to be my greatest find in a wile. it works so well I purchased 6 cans now and have given a can to all my kids. My daughter had a bottle a week before she finished it and said it was as good on the last day as it was on the first. They all have a similar story. I've used it in my shop several places time will tell how well it will work for me. But it definitely works for wine. 5I have used it on a 3 bottles of red ...I have used it on a 3 bottles of red wine and it does seem to make a significant difference in preserving the wine so I can take a week or two to drink a bottle and not lose the quality. If you drink red wine try it. 5
