    Works goodBeen messing around with lazyboy recliner handle 4 year or so. It had star shaped handle on square rod . Tried everything,gluing and more but nothing worked. Got this handle ,easy on and and works great. Not as long as original but it works. 4GoodLiked it but it broke.Just like the last one did.But I don t have to worry about it as I sold the chairMake sure it s the right size 4fixed itand hubby can hang onto his old recliner a little longer!! 5Not worth it spending your money on this handle!I purchased this handle hoping that it would replace the old one and fit perfectly but it didn't. The square hole was actually a little bigger than 1/2 inch and fit very loosely on the rod. Needless to say this part being all plastic didn't last, not even a couple of days. It didn't come with the screw that it's shown in the picture either. I had to find one that fit the hole and even then still didn't hold up.I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 1Very poor quality compared to the originalVery poor quality compared to the original. The original handle had a heavy metal insert with a metal set screw in metal threads. The replacement uses a much smaller set screw (not provided) which is screwed into self-threaded plastic. Very flimsy and does not hold firmly. 2Should of went with negative reviewsTook a chance even though most reviews stated there was no hardware, was hoping our existing screw would work, but of course it does not. Now we need to monkey rig it before we can use them. As we have not installed them yet cannot say how well they will hold up, they are plastic but look ok. 3Fits, but set screw issues and durability concerns.This fits the recliner, but the set screw of this replacement handle requires a hole to be drilled all the way through the attachment point rather than using pressure against it. My connection point did not have such a hole, so it was a bit of a trick getting a hole drilled (suggest using foil against the chair to protect the fabric from hot metal bits) and finding a screw that I could get all the way through and into the solid part of the handle on the other side of the hole (past a too-wide channel that looks like it was designed for the provided set screw to pass into. What I have done is solid and looks good, but be prepared to have to work a bit to get this installed. 3This hanle will fit a LA-Z-BOY reclinerThis handle was used to replace an older 8 point start handle used on a LA-Z-BOY recliner. The actual tilt mechanism of the chair was a 1/2" square shaft and this handle fits on the LA-Z-BOY shaft. This handle has a smaller hole than the original handle for the handle retaining set screw. In my case, I simply drilled out the hole with a drill bit so that the original retaining set screw could be used again. If you do not wish to drill out the hole, a new smaller set screw can be purchased at your local hardware store. The original LA-Z-BOY handle had a metal insert, but this replacement handle is all plastic with no metal insert. 4Delivery was quick.If you need to replace a Lazy Boy Recliner handle, go to a Lazy Boy store. Your chair and parts are guaranteed for "life". They had the handle I needed. This one did not fit my older recliner. 1Great replacementReplaced a broke handle on a 20 year old reclining sofa. Attempts to tape and glue the old one was futile. The handle on this is longer and I will replace the other one, which is in good shape, for the convenience of a longer handle. Installed easily.
