    Quality Product and Exceptional Customer ServiceAfter spending months trying to make less expensive shades work for 2 lamps I decided to purchase these because of the color, although they were more expensive. These shades are high quality, every penny, and bring out the best in my existing lamps. I did return the original shipment (very low return shipping cost of less than $10) to purchase the next size up, and this was a very pleasant experience especially since I had previously purchased a set of shades from a site (NOT Amazon) that offered to refund the purchase price of $50 (for 2 shades) if I would pay shipping which would have been $50.00, so I am stuck with those until I donate them.I purchase a shade from Royal Designs several years ago and that shade still looks new. I'd purchased their shade without double checking that the harp design would fit with my lamp. It didn't. They suggested an adapter that worked beautifully and was inexpensive. When I discovered the shade had been wrapped too tightly in its protective plastic, leaving indents in the rim, they immediately sent me a new (and perfect) shade. This shade is very well made. I would definitely buy from Royal Lampshades again.5Disappointed in workmanship.I ordered 2 of these shades and received with 1 damaged. I decided to return them both as I was concerned about the workmanship also. It appeared the edges of the fabric wrapped around the the lower ring of the shade weren t secured adequately. I could see the raw edge of the fabric and was concerned the fabric would end up fraying or progressively becoming unglued over time.1Not enough light comes through.Liked the shape but to dark when the lights come on.3
