Quality Very good quality and works exactly how its supposed too.My buddy owns a body shop and was teaching me body work. All of the employees there who walked by would stop and admire the durablock set and kept asking me how much it cost. They were shocked by the price (in a good way). They all said durablock is one of the best brands you can get. Overall i recommend and so do the professionals who worked at this shop. 5All hail MotorGuard The Gold Standard in sanding blocks. People have been using and abusing these for 15 years that I know of. Don't get that smaller set. This one is more $ because you get one more vital sanding block and the soap. Hey don't question the soap. May your bodylines be straighter and your hands cleaner. 5Great blocks! Silly place for UPC code. These blocks ARE awesome. They make sanding a breeze and I have no complaints about their functionality.I do have a gripe though: As at least one other reviewer noted, the vendor has chosen to put the UPC sticker on the foot/ sanding surface of the blocks.I count six possible surfaces to locate the sticker and one of those surfaces really makes no sense at all.I found that dripping a little bit of naphtha/lighter fluid on the sticker and letting it soak for a minute or two made removal a breeze. 5Good product. Beware of UPC sticker. The blocks are good but I am quite disappointed that the manufacturer placed the UPC stickers on the contact side of the block. The sticker is so well affixed that when trying to peel it off chunks of rubber material come off the block rendering the most used block in my set useless. I really should have soaked the block in water for a day before trying to peel off the stickers. Anyone who does bodyworks knows that the surface of the block must be very smooth. I wish Dura-Block knew this. 2Love this set Love this set. Get some 2-3/4 adhesive sandpaper rolls and some guide coat to go with it and you re in business. These are a must-have if you re doing any kind of body work. 5LOVE THESE BLOCKS I have never used these these before, always used the old skool blocks w/ the wrap around teeth. These blocks rock, you get a super flat surface. I also bought the 24" one and I am blown away how easy it was to get my car super flat, the lines are so crisp; WOULD RECOMMEND 5The best blocks I've used I repair high end composite surf skis / kayaks. I never use any powered sanders., mostly wet sanding of gelcoat and epoxy fillers. These are light, straight, true and just the right stiffness. Probably use the thin one the most. It has a tad more give and I can hold it so it conforms to the surface I'm working. Not sure how I managed before these.The large one has never been used, it is simply too large for my projects. 5UPC stickers on faces and is difficult to remove. Great kit, great price, but they opened the box and put individual upc stickers on the working surface of the block. I ruined a couple of the surfaces removing the stickers. Not sure if it will affect how the sand paper adheres to the block, but no sticker should have been placed there. 2Works well I'm a total newbie to sanding/body work, but I'm putting together a fiberglass kit car, and I need to do some finishing work to knock down some flashing lines, etc. I'm pretty decent with the mechanical part of the build, but the fiberglass work has had me worried for some time now.I ended up picking up this kit, and have been making pretty extensive use of it in the last week. Mostly the cylinder, and the small block.These are pretty stiff, and let me put some arm into the sanding process, which is nice for my current phase.When I get to more finishing up work, and sanding on the curved panels of the car, I'm going to need to use softer blocks, though.Also to note, when using these with wetdry paper used wet, they don't seem to absorb too much water, which is nice -- they're still comfortable and easy to hold. 4Make your project easier on yourself I never used these before always old school, now that i have them i will never be without. They are light, wear good, sand paper sticks well and not messy when removed. You have all sizes and a radiused one as well. Great investment, keeps your work square to the world. Price was excellent 5
