Best Value If You're Needing The Six Panels Panels arrived undamaged ! Guess I didn't have that 500lb gorilla working that day !.I understand some have received damaged panels, but the company has been great to replace them. Installed into an unfinished 1930s old garage with visible studs (every 16 ").. A little common sense, some planning, and a good level will go a long way. Relatively easy to set up. The Wall Control hook system (new to me) took just a little time to get the hang of inserting and removing, etc. Had some older 1/8 and 1/4" regular pegboard hooks, and they worked on these panels. Good quality product. Only have 5 panels up so far. Should last for a long time. Would recommend. 5Plan your use otherwise you'll fill it up fast! Executive packaging and quality was spot on. I bought this 8' option and thought "that'll be enough, to start!". I prefer mounting in wood as opposed to permanently tapping cinder block walls in my garage. Built a hanging framework out of 2x4s to allow me to move this should I need to for future adjustments in my garage shop. Filled it up almost immediately, but this went up so well and fast I want to buy another for the other side! Set your first in place and just clamp a straight edge on bottom and you can quickly drill pilots and slap these up into place. I absolutely love this and all the accessories. helps so much with the "Now, where did I put that?!" Tools. 5Wall Control made a useless space functional This kit allowed me to transform a useless closet under my stairs into a functional and impressive tool storage space. Rather than install directly into the stone foundation, I mounted the panels on 2x4 s. Installation took under an hour, and most of the time was spent installing the 2x4 s. The kit materials are solid, heavy duty, and came in great condition. I couldn t be happier with this item! 5TOP NOTCH PRODUCT I love this product. I went with the full 6 panel kit with all the accessories. I was able to organize nearly everything I had by adding additional accessories such as standard pegboard hook kits and some magnetic boards. I would definitely recommend over other pegboard types. The only cons for this purchase (which are minimal) were: they didn't have the large kit in black metal on Amazon which is what I wanted but still like the gray. The wall control hooks are a bit tricky to get in and out, but they are much sturdier than the standard ones, and the install claims you can mount each panel on studs if they're at standard 16" spacing (which mine are). To me this was impossible since the mounting holes are only 15 1/2" apart. So, I just ran three eight foot 2x4's to mount it all. I highly recommend this method, I wouldn't trust mounting it only to dry wall even with anchors. Overall having access to all my tools was more than worth the price. I'm so happy with it, I plan on adding a few more panels soon. 5Where have you been all my life??? Let me start by making 2 points.1)I'm pretty rough on my tools. "Bull in a china shop" kinda thing.2)Because if that, I typically make a lot of my own stuff because "nobody can build it like I can"...UNTIL NOW. I have a faintly small workspace, so maximizing every inch is super important. I was looking for something one day, and realized that I was wasting lots and lots of time searching through "I'll just put this here for nows", and little pockets of clutter every time I needed something. While clearing out some of that clutter and making changes to my shop, I realized I needed to better use the wall space. First considered new pegboard arrangement, but while studying my current setup (which was pegboard) I realized that wasn't going to get it done. Off to Amazon.com. I don't remember what I searched for, but I stumbled upon Wall Control. First, a 2-panel kit for around $35. Then, one of their larger kits and I was very interested, so I added that to my cart, and started adding in accessories as well. The m I stumbled across this kit, and that was it. It just made sense. I ordered it on the spot. I happened to be home when the package arrived and immediately opened it. Well packaged, and VERY well made. This thing it incredible. I was able to clear any and all tools from my workbench that previously had nowhere to go, part of my cabinet, my old pegboard, and all of my cordless tools, battery packs, and 2 chargers. All on the Wall Control. All within sight and within reach, and all safe and secure because of how well designed and built this thing is. The hooks provided REALLY lock in there. Even when I want to move them, it's not easy. I am tough to please, let alone impress when it comes to tools, equipment, etc. this system is incredible, and I'm going back to buy some more accessories. More hooks and shelving that goes on here. 5Greatest Pegboard I've ever used. Well worth the investment. Best "peg board" I've ever used. Wall control does exactly what it says it will do and it is well made. I used 8' long firring strips secured to studs that I then screwed the wall control panels to. I predrilled the holes to ensure the wood (and studs) wouldn't split or cause issue with the mounting screws and it worked perfectly. System is easy to lineup and if you perfect align each panel to the panel beside it you can mount longer Wall Control attachments across the panels. The instructions state you can even slightly bend the guide prongs on the side of the attachments to provide a tighter fittment with less wobble if needed. To be honest, I didn't need to do that as I was alright with the slight movement of the attachments, but if I needed something that didn't move at all a few tweaks with a set of pliers would have made quick work of it. I'll be buying more of this system in the future when my next project arrives. There is no reason with proper care that this product wouldn't last several lifetimes of use. 5Freakin' Awesome I started to install the panels and every other was not on a stud. I didn't like that so I mounted a two 2X4's all the way across bolted to every stud, then bolted the panels to the 2X4's. This kit is awesome, everything is self explanatory. I plan on getting one extra panel to go all the way across my work bench. I wish it came with more accessories. Regardless, it makes my garage look legit. 5Professional looking for office and durable enough for a garage Professional looking for office and durable enough for a garageWe were looking for something for out IT benches and we knew we wanted pegboard. We just moved into a newly renovated building and our search led us to Wall Control. It was a no-brainer and we couldn t be more pleased. The brick in this 1930-40 s old building was great looking and so we decided to space the boards out about 4 inches apart so we could keep the look. So, the rest of the story:To start, the packing was excellent. I read on other comments that there was damage but the packing was great for us. I would suggest though, that you are careful taking it out of the box because it is packed tight and if you just dump it out you may damage the edges. (Not suggesting anyone sis that just remembering back to us unpacking). We ended up using the Tapcon screws and these panels are NOT coming down easy. Make sure you drill your holes first with more than you need for sure.I forgot to get before (we were eager to get them up) and the after picture is just so-so. This is a work bench for IT equipment that is getting prepped. i.e. Servers, switches, and workstations\laptopsThe best thing of all was the Wall Control staff and support. I had to call for a minor issue of miss-pack\pick and they were awesome to work with. Took the order number and some other info down and have the correct item being shipped today. That is great customer service. Thanks guys! 5Looks great, but expensive! This arrived today in a fairly heavy box. Instead of procrastinating, I decided to set it up right away. Make sure you have a power drill, or your life will be pain. Used a stud finder to mount as many as possible on the studs, I think I ended up using a few of the drywall mounts, but not a lot. My garage must have an odd stud arrangement. Regardless, some of the panels were a little bit bent on the corners. At first I was really upset and thought I'd have to get it switched out, but as the screws went in, the metal straightened out. The spray paint can shelf was slightly bent, but nothing that I couldn't fix with my bare hands. I almost wish the spray paint can shelf was just another shelf, but whatever, it's kind of nice to have and I actually found a can to stick up there while cleaning out the garage. I was able to mount the entire thing by myself, but it would have been nice to have someone help hold the panel while I used a level to get it straight. Once the first one is up, the rest are cake. It would be nice if they included more mounts as I ran out. I had a few that I used from an old wooden pegboard and they fit in the holes just fine. All in all I'm glad I bought it. It's very sturdy and not going anywhere. Was it worth the price? Well, I guess that's a relative question... I think it could have been cheaper, but, It's better than the pegboards. Plus, most of the pegboards that are sold on Amazon don't come with any mounts, especially the bin mounts which I ended up using the most. I wish they included some blank labels to be able to stick on the front of the bins too... 5EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE I initially invested in this product to have a wall storage solution that lasts and looks great and let me say these panels did not disappoint. The paint job (I picked blue with black bins and hooks) is well done and thick. The way the hooks insert into the pegboard takes some getting used to but once you figure it out these pegs are rock solid. GONE are the days of bumping into things from underneath and knocking everything off the pegboard, everything is metal and everything locks very nicely into place.This was a six panel setup and several of my panels did arrive damaged (this was an amazon warehouse deal so I guess that is what I have come to expect from anything discounted in the Amazon Warehouse). I figured it couldn't hurt to contact the manufacturer and see if they could help me out with some replacements. They replied within the hour, I had replacements sent out to me at no cost within the day. I have never been so well taken care of by a company, this US based company has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Buy these pegboard, they are endlessly customizable, built to last, and run by a stellar company you'd be proud to support. I don't expect too much from a company but the bare minimum, they went way above and beyond. I am a very happy guy and my garage has never been so good looking and functional. 5
