    Absolutely the best scoop for hard ice cream This ice cream scoop is absolutely wonderful for rock hard ice cream. I make homemade ice cream that is quite densw, and while I have tried out quite a few high quality ice cream scoops, frankly none of them could do a halfway decent job until I found this one. I was always so frustratingly chipping away little pieces of ice cream (with previous ice cream Scoops), until there was enough to make a full scoop. With this ice cream scoop, there really is no problem getting my ice cream out of the tub. If you enjoy super premium ice creams that have less air in them and therefore can be harder to scoop, or just want a good quality ice cream scoop, I highly recommend this one! Just remember to hand wash it and not put it in the dishwasher, or the outer layer will start to wear down and leave metallic grey streaks in your ice cream, which is what happened to me. A replacement scoop was quickly purchased and I will be sure to hand wash it as they are very clear to instruct you to do all over the packaging. 5Best ice cream scooper Easy to scoop ice cream, even hard ice creams. 5Great scoop Great scoop. Heavy duty and durable. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER!! Wash by hand with soap and warm water. Getting the scoop too hot will ruin the coating. Once the coating is compromised it will leave grayness on everything it touches. 4Heat from hand Amazing ice cream scoop. At first I thought it was just going to be a slick coating which would let the ice cream drop off quicker. It surprised me in it kept working even after several scoops. I have used others that need to be kept in warm water and use the reserve heat to melt the border between the ice cream and scoop. This takes the heat from your hand and warms the scoop also. Great addition to my cooking tools. 5Okay I bought this to use on homemade ice cream that freezes very hard. I still have to soften the ice cream in the microwave a few seconds. The scoop doesn't work as well as planned on my ice cream. It does make a nice large ball on the softened ice cream which looks nice and is great for cones. 3The leader in the ice cream scooper market Excellent ice cream scooper. I bought the smaller version also. 5Outstanding scoop After buying and using countless ice cream scoops, I can clearly attest that this scoop is the clear champion of ice cream scoops. It's incredibly durable, easy to use, and well worth the money, especially if you're an ice cream fanatic like myself. In addition, I can also state that since I have purchased this amazing scoop, my family and friends have also purchased the same exact scoop. The only recommendation that I can offer someone not familiar with professional type ice cream scoops is to do some research on the size that you'll need. For instance, I purchased the largest size scoop but others might like one size smaller than the largest one which is used in ice cream shops across the nation. Oh one more thing, never ever put this scoop in the dishwasher in case you already didn't know. 5Simply amazing I set out to get a really great ice cream scoop as a gag for a friend of mine that just uses a spoon. After reading reviews, i picked up the 4 oz Zerolon, and I absolutely love it. Its amazing. I have tried the ice cutting trick, it worked. Ice cream does not stick to the scoop. Its fast and perfect every time. It is simply amazing, and everyone should have one. 5Ice cream scoop that does the job This if the best ever ice cream scoop.. It gets the "hard" ice cream out of the container without much effort. You get nice rounded scoops for cones as well. it scoops out about a half cup of ice cream. I rinse it off after use and do not soak in a dishpan or use the dishwasher. this scoop has had heavy use this summer and still looks and performs like new. 5Best. Scoop. Ever. I know you're wondering who writes a review for a scoop or how good can it really be. Let's just say, best. Scoop. Ever. And America's test kitchen agrees. Also, this is a great size for a hefty scoop that perfectly fills a coffee mug. 5
