I replaced a couple of dead fluorescent fixtures ...These things are amazing! I replaced a couple of dead fluorescent fixtures in my barn with these, and the difference is incredible. One of these covers the same floor space that two fluorescent fixtures spaced 8 feet apart covered, and about 10 times brighter. The install was fairly easy, other than standing on an extension ladder 15' in the air and trying to hold the drill and the fixture and not drop anything or fall off. I'm no electrician, but you really can't screw this up. Great lights, will be getting a few more when the rest of the old fixtures go to heaven. The pictures can't really capture the difference, but they will give you an idea.5BrightLights are bright and easy to install5Cheaply made with poor heat heat sink fins.Everything about this light is cheap/cut rate. The alloy is thin and there is almost NO heat sink fins on the back. After 10 minutes up against my sheet rock walls, they were way too hot for my trust and liking. And because they are so thin/cheap, they didn't install very easily. They don't offer a frosted lens which really helps cut the glare. GO ELSEWHERE!1Five StarsLove these lights. So bright!5
