    Very robustNice thick metal, doesn't feel flimsy at all. Smooth surfaces make it easy to clean. Deceptively large, but that may have just been my perception. 5Why is this pot not a staple of EVERY kitchen?After melting a $12 silicone spatula into my favorite saucier on Christmas Eve (our 16K generator was being hooked up- we'd used only a little genny since Irma and that included pumping cistern water so I was understandably distracted and thrilled - but still, how does one melt silicone into an intractible lump?), I found this. I'd never seen anything like it but had, for years believed such a saucier type pot should exist. And so armed with the luxury of holiday time, a generator we could run for 12 hours at a go and a wireless router, I hunted Amazon until I found the pot of my dreams; THIS ONE. It has actually exceeded my wildest dreams. I'm here to order as gifts for several birthdays coming up and another for myself because on top of perfect heating, size and dispensing, I've discovered that this pot is indespensible for storing and reheating leftover soups, stews and stir frys; narrow and not too tall, it fits perfectly in the refrigerator.If you've gotten this far- just stop reading. This well designed, well balanced, sturdy pot is a very welcome addition to our kitchen. The handle is perfect, we don't find it gets hot, and it is easy to hold on to, and, I repeat, keeps the pot well balanced, unlike our previous porridge pot. If it wasn't for changing to induction cooking, I would never have looked for a different pot, and missed out big time. It is absolutely perfect. We mainly use it for making porridge, the old fashioned way - on the cooktop and it does everything right. I bought this for use in an RV where the space is very constrained and the bent handle allowed this to stack nicely inside my other pots.
