Customer Reviews

Awesome for sticky paleo recipesMy husband and I decided to try a modified paleo diet at the beginning of this year, so I made gluten-free blueberry-lemon muffins using standard cupcake liners. It was like I had glued them on. We lost half the muffin from being stuck to the liner. So I bought these. The cardboard holder someone else mentioned was in place inside the box, keeping them round, and they fit into my standard muffin/cupcake pan perfectly. And when I took them out of the oven, the liners just about fell off the muffins by themselves. They did not stick AT ALL and they protected the pan beautifully. 5If you're looking nonstick muffin liners, you've struck gold hereI was a bit worried by the photos of squarish liners but mine came with the inner cardboard collar (at least inside the one box I opened) so the liners are indeed round. I used vintage muffin tins and these liners are a perfect fit for standard size muffins. But best of all, they are truly nonstick. My oatmeal muffins stuck horribly to the regular paper liners I had bought from the grocery store. With these parchment liners, there's nothing stuck to the liner, they come off effortlessly. I'm so happy. These are brown (or 'natural') when I expected them to be white. If you're looking for white, this isn't it. But if you're looking for nonstick, you've struck gold here. 5Dream come true for Low Carb baking!I'd been baking with low carb flours for about a year before discovering these parchment cupcake liners. I make a lot of muffins, cupcakes, and baked 'omelette muffins.' I was always discouraged when a recipe would say to be sure to spray your cupcake liners, or the product will stick. And it was true. Then I tried silicone cupcake forms, and found that they hold only about 2/3 the capacity of a regular cupcake pan or liner, so didn't like those, either. Then one of the food bloggers I follow mentioned these, and it was like a lightbulb went off in my head. Yes! Parchment! They fit perfectly. They work perfectly. Whatever you bake literally falls right out of them when you want the wrapper off. I couldn't be happier, and have stocked up to make sure I never run out. 5ABSOLUTELY no sticking! Baked egg thingys!!The first time I attempted to make "egg muffins" from the Ivor Cummins, Jeff Gerber book, they were tasty but what a mess scraping them out of the "nonstick" pan with the dull side of a citrus peeler! Second batch with the common cupcake papers didn't work out because the paper crinkles sort of baked into the egg mixture. Not as messy but sort of wasteful, (like when so much of a muffin or cupcake really sticks to the paper.) I decided to cut little strips of parchment and try to figure out a better way because these things are really good and just BEG for experimenting with a variety of add-ins. Anyway, I decided instead to google "parchment cupcake papers" and to state the obvious, ended up here and so glad I did! I got 4 boxes - 2 wrapped packages containing 2 boxes each. One of the photos shows the round cardboard insert to keep the papers round since that was a complaint here. They say LARGE but are the usual, ordinary size we all get at the grocery store (obviously not the minis and not the jumbos,) and that was also a question here. The picture of the ones I had just gotten out of the pan show that the papers literally fell away from the sides of the egg things! So now I'm cooking up alot of ideas for making batches of these things when the house is full of people over long weekends, holidays, or what the hell! I made a batch for the two of us today and it's such a great way to change up our usual carb-free breakfast. I love these parchment liner papers and couldn't imagine the little egg things - they're like a crustless quiche - literally falling out of the papers! Have fun with yours! 5Muffins don't stick!Haha, so live and learn! I didn't know they made "non-stick" muffin tin liners, but an online search of "how to stop muffins from sticking to paper cups" yielded the suggestion to find a non-stick option.I'm living the keto life now, and loving it, but my latest recipes for muffins just would not cleanly come out of the muffin cup, leaving a lot of my tasty muffin inside the paper. Not that I'm too cultured to find myself gnawing on the paper liner to get the last of my muffin, haha, but kind of ruins the presentation, when a bunch of the muffin gets torn off and left behind. So, I gave these a try, and, at just a bit over four cents a cup, they seem an economical solution to get the most of out my muffin recipes!Verdict? Perfection! Using the same recipe that stuck before, these liners peel off flawlessly! My muffins are saved! More in my tummy and nothing left on the liner. If your muffins are sticking, get these, and problem solved, and far easier than having to additionally grease the muffin liner. These are baking magic!Highly recommend! 5Good product as long as presentation isn't high on your listI really like these cupcake liners. It took me a very long time to decide, but these are the best value I could find. Now, from this picture, you can see that because these are made from parchment paper, they separate easily. Which obviously, isn't a problem because the whole point of a cupcake is to discard the liner asap and shove the thing in your mouth. So as long as you aren't looking for perfect presentation, you should be happy. Now excuse me, I have a cupcake to devour. 5Work great, but WAY cheaper at Target!UPDATE 6/20/18: I have now purchased these cupcake liners on Amazon twice for $8+ for 2 boxes of 60 count (120 total). I removed a start because few days ago I was shopping at my local Target, and the REGULAR price in-store for these is $0.98/box. Through the Target app, they are $1.98/box. This item is not returnable so I literally paid 400% more for this item by buying it on a Amazon. But the product is still great!I won t say I ll NEVER use another liner again because sometimes it s fun to use the ones with designs, colors, etc., but these liners are absolutely perfect for any recipes that stick to regular paper liners! These have been especially great for my toddler s muffins. I will 100% buy these again! 4Minor change ... big difference.I've purchased these multiple times. Loved them previously and would have given 5 stars. They have made a minor change that makes a big difference when using. There used to be a cardboard circle inside the box that kept the cups round. They are no longer putting this ring in the box. The difference is that they are now coming out of the box square instead of round. You wouldn't think that this is too big of a deal, but they don't become round when you put batter in them. They bunch up and pucker. This affects how they come off the muffins. Not smoothly and cause the muffin to tear. And for some reason the color has changed, so I'm thinking they changed something else too.Update 5/30/17. I repurchased this item based on other people with more recent posts indicating that they did not have the "square" problem. New packages arrived with cardboard circle in box and the cups are round again.Upgraded review from 1 star to 3, since hoping it was a one time QC problem and won't happen again. 3Almost perfectI love to use these for muffins, since they seem just a little larger than normal cupcake liners. They are well made and hold their shape well while filling. They can be a little difficult to peel away from the muffins and sometimes tear if your muffin top spills over a little too much. Only complaint is that they leave an oily residue behind after cooking, so you still end up having to wash your muffin pan. 4So easyI couldn t find these in the grocery store and too lazy to make my own. They work wonderfully and no stick. They are standard muffin size despite the description as large. 5
