    Exact Replacement for Catnapper Only Worked 4 WeeksProduct is exact replacement for Catnapper recliner couch. Amazingly easy with needle nose pliers and square end driver, other manufacturers may use Philips head. Took 9 mins to replace one end, 8 minutes to replace other end. Total cost using Amazon rewards, $10. New Catnapper leather recliner would have cost $1500. In 17 mins I'm reclined drinking beer. I will consider an addendum after months of use. Today's date is 29 Sep 18. So pleased, thank you, thank you to my big sister who searched, found and recommended this as solution. Lowered rating to 2 stars, because on 22 Oct and handle broke (see pic). Perfect fit, but only lasted 4 weeks. I recommend buying metal handles instead, I will. I did and can see and feel difference. Don't waste time or money with plastic buy metal. 2Perfect fit, excellent price.Perfect fit, excellent price. Was surprised to find this replacement part on Amazon, let alone find it at a good price too. Shipping was prompt as well. Had the part swapped out in a matter of minutes, and this replacement part is made better than the original (the original part broke where the handle and cable connection meet). Very pleased! 5Only has 6mm hole advertising for both 3mm and 6mm cables and they wont answer your questionsBought this because it says it's for both 3mm and 6mm but really it's only for 6mm although it for 3mm only because a 6mm hole is bigger than a 3mm because it only has 6mm hole it fits but its sloppy it works but cable will probably come out of the hole and dont ask any questions because they wont answer 1It Worked!Just replaced a handle in a reclining sofa that still had the cable attached, just the handle had broken. Took me less than 5 minutes. Works like a charm. One thing I recommend when doing your repair, if you don't have 2 sets of hands, is to secure your cable with a pair of locking pliers, so it doesn't go falling back into the furniture. And with the 2 pack, I have a spare should the other one meet its same fate. 5Good replacement handle.Believe it or not, when the handle on our sofa broke and we called the Ashley furniture store where we bought it, the man there said replacement parts aren't made for the recliners!!! He made a half-hearted offer to look in the warehouse for another sofa that he could take the handle from. What a racket! We will not be going back to that store!These parts arrived quickly and were as advertised. It was fairly simple to replace the broken handle on our sofa and didn't take long. But the spring that was included (the funny little bent paper clip like thing you see in the picture) was the wrong size. Thankfully we still had the original one and were able to reuse it. 4Arrived fast and was super easy to installOver time both handles on our reclining couch had broken in different ways so we were unable to use the recliner on either end. This item solved that problem. Arrived fast and was super easy to install. Took Bount 5 minutes per end to get a screwdriver, remove old assembly, attach new handle, confirm working properly and reinstall set screws. Bingo reclining couch again. Yeah. Handles are great quality in fact I like them better than the originals that came in out couch. Works smoothly. Don't anticipate needing anymore but if we do I will order from this seller without question. Great OEM or better quality, fast shipping, good price point. 5This works great!I kept worrying about that little piece of bent wire you see in the picture. Where does it go? Well, once you have it in place and the activator wire from you recliner attached, it becomes intuitive. It hooks in and down to snap over that wire's holding point. I know this doesn't help - but it will when you need to install it. This works great! 4Will break just as easily as the original!The fit was perfect, and the installation easy, but this replacement lasted just about as long as the original equipment manufacturer. The base of the "paddle" handle is connected to the pivot point by just two relatively-"flimsy" plastic support arms. It's just a poorly designed handle. They COULD have been designed to be somewhat more substantial. Nonetheless, it appears that we're consigned to just keep replacing them as they break from normal usage! 3Only lasts a few months before breakingMy husband has a recliner and the handle broke after a few years. These are the after market replacement handles. We have bought about a dozen of them because they only last 1-2 months (sometimes less) and then they break and we have to replace the handle again. Buy a new chair, or keep buying new handles? So far, we keep buying new handles. There is a reason they come in a 2 pack. 2Do not buy this product.The OEM part that came installed in our couch lasted for 7 years. This replacement part didn't last 2 months but the return window was only 1 month! Buyer beware, this is obviously a poorly made product. 1
