    Lasts only a month or so.Lasts about a month before needing to replace with new grease. My kitchenaid mixer worked great for the first few days but started slowing down as though the grease were bad. I knew that couldn't be the case since I JUST greased it.. turns out this stuff is already dripping off the motor and coming out the mixer as if it's 10 years used.I bought this brand because it specifically stated it was for kitchenaid mixers.. I'm a sucker. Going to buy the real stuff now and do it again. 1my grandmas mixer although not a kitchen aid smelled just like this stuff I'd spend the money just for that ...order came in promptly I have two kitchen aid mixers so I ordered another 4 oz for that one too. on a side note: I'm keeping the container they say smell brings back the strongest memories.my grandmas mixer although not a kitchen aid smelled just like this stuff I'd spend the money just for that smell of my grandma's kitchen I miss her RIP 5Kitchenaid Stand mixer maintenance essencialI didn't rate flavor as I hope to never taste it, properly applied it doesn't get in the food . Ease of use is also tricky as you do have to do considerable disasembly and cleanup of old grease prior to using, so it's not for people who are not inclined to reapir themselves. However, I try to keep my kitchenaid stand mixer working tiptop and yes parts wear and need to be replaced. This grease should help the replacement parts last longer and my machine through to year 40 or possibly 50 or beyond. I must be doing something right as mine is 38.5 years old and still going strong after only 2 repairs. I know it's coming due especially as we are using more now. Thanks for helping me get the needed items for the next refresh. 5It works greatFixed my Kitchenaid Stand Mixer and replaced the old grease with this. It is excellent. Don't be put off by the fact it is white in color and the old grease will be black. It works great. 5Doesn't Stay On GearsIf your mixer sees heavy use, don't waste your money on this grease. Bought this to service my mixer, cleaned all the old grease off thoroughly and repacked the gears. I even double checked my work through several different tech sites and videos. After approximately 30 minutes, the housing around the gears got extremely hot. Stopped the unit and removed the housing and found that all the grease had turned into what looked like cotton candy and had spread everywhere except on the gears. I let the grease cool and repacked it again, this time letting the machine run on it's slowest spread to ensure the grease spread evenly in case this had been the issue the first time. Same result again. I was able to find the original grease that came with the unit from a local supplier and replaced the grease with it and haven't had a problem since. I am very mechanically inclined and regrease gears and bearings frequently without issue. My opinion is that if you intend on using your mixer for only a few minutes occasionally, you might be alright. Any more than that, you may want to seek other options. 1Replaced Grease on KitcheAid Mixer and is Good As New!Thank you! I just replaced the grease on my KitchenAid mixer that was leaking oil. Took me about an hour! I would recommend also replacing the seal also since you're in there anyways. Mixer is working as good as new! You will use pretty much all of the grease. If you're not sure how to replace the grease, just search you tube for how to fix KitcheAid mixer leaks oil. 5Great Stuff!The product was a bit "stickier" than the old grease or some of the other products I've seen. That's not a bad thing. It sort of resembles marshmallow fluff, only a bit thicker. Stil, it was easy to use and covered al the gears nicely. I've had my Kitchenaid mixer for almost 40 years and was the first time that I've taken it apart to remove the old grease and replace it ( thank heaven for Youtube). My mixer is now as quiet as brand new.This is good stuff... buy it and don't wait as long as I did to replace the grease! 5Not the same thickness as Kitchenaid gearbox greaseThis grease is not the same thickness as the grease currently in the gear box. This is creamy consistency like lotion and original grease is much thicker like petroleum. I am an amateur at repairing this so I can t comment on whether it will perform the same. I m returning for another product- Super Lube multi purpose synthetic grease. 1Non-toxicThe number one thing for me is always NON-TOXIC! Its my first hurdle in everything I do. Lubricants have been especially difficult to find non-toxic varieties. If its even slightly toxic it can cause me a systemic collapse. When I found this I was looking for NT gear lube for my sewing machine. So far I have done a preliminary VOC check with zero reaction. Length of exposure was seconds. I most likely won't test again until after the holidays (I get too many exposures at this time). Since I haven't yet checked its lubricating properties, I left off one star. Will most likely update later. 4Pretty Good GreaseGrease seems to work as one would expect. I used this grease when I replaced the gear set in my Kitchenaid stand mixer. The grease was plenty "sticky" and stayed where it was placed. We used the mixer ALOT through the holiday season, and I opened it up just to take a look. The grease was still all over the gears just as one would hope. I have no concern that this grease will perform as intended. I would definitely purchase again if I needed it for another kitchen project!!!! 5
