WARNING SPICE RACK FALLS SHORT IN ITS DESIGN TO ITS COST!!!!!!WARNING READ BEFORE BUYING PRODUCT CONTAINS MULTIPLE DESIGN FLAWS AND DOES NOT LIVE UP TO ITS COST!!!!!!!!!! First I absolutely love the wood, and with that said I am disappointed with two main features about the jars. I am a home cook and I cook for a family of seven on an everyday basis and contain 60+ spices. With that stated I have been using this spice rack for over 2 weeks and love and hate a few things about it. I feel that if a person is going to spend $175 on a spice rack their shouldn't be anything I dislike about it. The way that the jars fit inside of the case has no support through out the inside so the jars tilt upward once placed inside. At first I thought this might be a good thing for easier reading, but found it annoying after a short period of time. The jars feel like they bang into one another a bit and it has a feeling of incompleteness to the design. As a designer I found this as a flaw within the design and needs improvement especially for the price this spice rack cost. My second disappointment is my biggest one, and honestly would have not purchased at all if I realized before hand. The jars themselves, with the high cost, I expect the best of quality and no lack of professional design. The jars are simply put CHEEP, BORING, BASIC, glass jars with absolutely no design ecstatic. From the online pictures you would never realize this. The jars actually photograph decently but feel and look like CRAP!!!!!!!! in comparison to the beautiful wooden holder. I am unfortunately very upset with this item. I had been planning and saving up for this particular item for a few months before purchasing it as a treat for all the hard work I do on an everyday basis for my family. I have already been looking into replacement jars which will put this spice rack at a cost that it undeniably stupid to spend on a spice rack. If you are looking to buy this item it will look beautiful on your kitchen counter and make finding a spice easy, but once you pull out the jar you will find yourself doubting how much you paid for the item and only regret. The worse part is when you go to replace the jar inside of your spice rack you will be ticked off by the loose unfinished feeling, the design leaves you feeling, as your glassed spice jar slides in and the backside falls downward slightly clingy the one beneath. In the end the choice is yours, If you don't mind investing a ridiculous amount of money on a spice rack that falls short in its design to its worth then go ahead and purchase, BUT YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. 3Worth every penny.This is worth every penny. The wood is cabinet grade quality and truly beautiful. The simplicity of design does not add visual clutter to the counter top. All you really see is the perfect alignment of the lids with professional labels, framed by the rich wood. The lids are blank when shipped but included are preprinted labels that identify almost any commonly available spice. You can also have the company create additional labels if you need some for custom spices. The jars fit fully into the wooden box so you don't see them. This is a high end spice rack and worth every penny. I bought the 30 spice rack, thinking it might be too big. It definitely is not and it was easy to fill each jar. Those 30 spices are no longer taking up valuable space in a drawer. 5Best Spice Rack I've found!I absolutely love this spice rack. I mounted it on angled section of wall in my kitchen that was out of the way of everything else. The 4 oz bottles are a find as most spices seems to be packages in smaller and smaller containers, which add up.I recommend wall mounting this to save counter space and cabinet space. You'll need to secure it with really strong wall hooks in the back (it comes with triangle hangers). I have received so many compliments and this saved a ton of cabinet space in my kitchen. This items comes in 4 wood choices and is the best spice rack I've found. It's really worth the money, in my opinion. I got the cherry wood and it's gorgeous. 5It's beautiful! To make it more affordable for me, I purchased the one listed as "used, like new" but never used, per the manufacturer's description. What I received was an obviously flawed item with a dented corner and ever-so-slightly splintered wood. I was very disappointed that it didn't quite live up to the way it was portrayed, but it would not have been cost-effective to return it due to its heft. If I had known it was not perfect, I may have just waiting until I could afford to pay full-price.Not realizing it came with a set of feet already, I ordered a set of square, clear feet to protect it from moisture that it might pick up from the countertop in the event of a spill, and they do a very nice job. They are a little larger and taller than the included feet, and I don't regret spending extra for them. If you're interested, they're Rubber Feet Adhesive Rubber Pads, 1 Inch Square Self Stick Bumpers, Clear Bumper Pads - 20 Pack. 5You'll have this foreverReally can't believe I spent this much on a spice rack...but it is every OCD-cook's dream, and has made my kitchen and my life so much better! It really is a beautiful piece. It fits nicely into a corner along my counter, and doesn't take up much space at all. I thought I'd have a hard time filling it up, but once I started putting the labels on the jars, I found myself having to prioritize a few of my lesser-used spices, as I was into the 50's. I imagine I will be using this for the next 50 years. 5Looks great!We did a lot of research on options before purchasing but we're very happy with this decision. We hung it vertically beside our pantry as we have limited pantry space, but lots of spices. A little surprised it didn't come with any mounting brackets, but the hubs anchored it through the backboard of the spice rack into the wall and it's perfect. Looks nice, blends with the cabinetry and is easily accessible. The wood and spice jars feel like a good quality which is exactly what we were looking for because it was going to be visible. (We have all of the jars in there now and used the handwritten labels, but we may eventually reorder them all so it looks uniform. The handwritten ones don't look that bad tho.) If ordering custom labels was easier than sending an email and retyping everything, and if the page on the website about custom labels offered pricing, I probably would've ordered the labels the same night we received the spice rack..just an idea for the company. Also, for those of us who don't like doing something twice, you could offer that we receive custom labels at the time of delivery with the spice rack. 5Terrific Herb & Spice OrganizerOk, the AllSpice spice rack is pricey, but it's worth every penny. (I told my husband he was buying it for me as an early Christmas present.) It's solid wood - no veneers - and comes in several wood species. It's extremely well-crafted, like a piece of furniture, and simply beautiful. I freed up 2 cabinet shelves and it makes the herbs and spices so easy to find. It comes with about 6 pages of pre-printed stick-on labels that you can stick on the spice bottle caps. If you have a special blend or an herb or spice not listed, the company will custom-make a label for you. After opening the box, I spent 2 happy hours washing bottles and caps and filling them. Ok, I'm a little OCD, so having all my herb and spice jars in alphabetical order and front & center on my counter is wonderful! The AllSpice large wooden countertop spice rack makes an excellent gift. 5Great for small kitchen, with limited spaceThis spice rack, although pricey, is perfect, especially if you have limited counter top space. I cook a great deal, love my spices and recently moved from a home, with a chefs kitchen, and several spice drawers, to an apartment, with a galley kitchen. Bought this, because I was desperate for a home for all my spices. OMG... perfect and worth every penny. Labels are strong and easy to read, plus plenty of variety, to accommodate all but a few of my spice blends. No problem, they provide blank labels. One issue is, they should provide a pen to write on the labels, also buy the stainless funnel, which would be nice if that was included too. You really need the funnel, to fill the jars, a plastic funnel probably won't work with spices. It would be nice if pen and funnel were included, especially at this price. But, I won't take away a star, because this is really a nice addition to my small galley kitchen. 5Superb high quality product.I had been shopping for a while for a new spice rack and most of what I found were tacky looking plastic trash in the $50 range. Then I saw this and ordered. I'm thrilled. It is very high quality. The maple wood frame is beautifully constructed. The glass jars are a good size and it comes with 3 different inner tops, spoon scraper, large shaker and finer shaker. The black lids are nice and there are pages of self stick labels covering every spice I have heard of including many Indian spices. I especially liked that diversity. This is a first rate well thought product and I highly recommend it. Well worth the price! 5High Quality Spice RackThis is a very beautiful spice rack! It is very heavy, and seems to be made of solid wood. And the spice jars are glass, and about the size of normal spices you would buy in the supermarket, pretty big really. Very high quality stuff here from what I can see so far. The labels come in their own separate packaging, so you only add the labels as needed, you just stick them on to the jar as you use them. Peel and stick, and they are white letters on a black background, so they are very easy to read. It comes with felt feet to add to the bottom when you set it up. And the packaging is awesome! A box within a box, and both boxes are about 1/2" thick, so it arrived in perfect condition. Then there is a little box with the shaker tops and a spare lid. Each of the jars arrived in plastic sleeves, already inserted into the rack, as shown in the picture. And they have cutouts so the jars fit snugly into the rack. I go the Walnut one which will complement the decor of my home nicely. It is a bit expensive, but I think they will last for many years, so it is worth it in my opinion. 5
