    Altar Tarot Cloth Triple Goddess w/PentagramThis is a very beautiful piece~ I absolutely love this~ This is made thicker than most other altar cloths I've found~ I would recommend washing by hand as any other tapestry and air dry flat~ Also I would suggest using candles that won't melt on to the surface~ (fire safety 101) but also so that you don't risk getting wax all over your gorgeous cloth~ I highly recommend this cloth~ You won't be disappointed~ I'm showing in the picture about the size~ it is 24x24 and has so much room~ I may end up just hanging this up so that it doesn't get ruined~ Definitely PLEASED with this purchase~ 5Five StarsLove it! Cloth is medium-sized (placed a standard sized Rider tarot deck on to show size) and thicker/sturdier than I expected. Posting first impressions so it still needs to be washed and possibly ironed, as you can see (I will post an update after washing). The gold and silver is not sewn, more like printed and it is raised slightly if you run your hand over it. Edges are fringed, but not sewn as another review stated, and will probably lead to some fraying which is okay with me. I really can't say enough how pleased I am with this purchase, and at such a great price as well! 5Heavy duty, good clothNice cloth, Very heavy as others have said. Mine had a very bad scent but I am used to that with where these items come from. I immediately threw mine in the wash, separately on delicate. Still had some scent to it after, so threw it in dryer with a scented dryer sheet on low for 10 minutes, took out promptly laid flat on top of dryer to dry last night and it's perfect this a.m. Touched up with iron on the back side, Not on the design paint. It looks great, smell is out. This says 100% cotton so I expect some shrinkage just measured at 23" x 23" including fringe but I didn't measure before so it might have shrank 1" but that means nothing to me I'm just stating for others. There is about a half inch of fringe all the way around which is not sewn down so this will unravel a bit. I trimmed off a few loose strings. For the price and shipping it is worth the price. This would be good as a wall hanging or I'm using as a cloth on my alter. 5Dye issues onlyI truly, truly love this altar cloth. I actually expected it to be a little bigger, and thinner, but this works well as it is too. The edges aren't sewn down, so they fray a little, which gives them some character, if you are into it. The cotton is stiff and heavy, which is quite good if you actually intend to use it for rituals, so it won't bunch up when you move things around. Also, since it's sturdy, it looks like it would handle spills well. Now, as you would expect it, the moment I've got it I washed it. I did so by hand, and after soaking it a little I was shocked by how black the water came out. I was honestly afraid I washed the black out of it! Well, it didn't, but just for precaution, I would instruct anyone buying it to always wash this item separately and by hand, so that it won't stain other pieces, and also so that the edges don't fray away.It is really golden and really silvery, so you'll really love that, but it wouldn't cover an area larger than a nightstand, so bare that in mind too. And it's too stiff to be used as a scarf, if you were ever wondering about that. 4Snags, Holes, White Streaks on it. Wont let me return only got today.Got today. There 3 snags in materal one that runs down the full length of the piece, one that starts with a little hole (both pictured). Then there are 2 bleached out white streaks (pictured). Not happy when i clicked on return it wont let me return it. im NOT happy. 1Beautiful but has one flaw.It's really beautiful and I love it, but was upset to see some writing on my cloth. Hard to explain, so here is a picture. I haven't been able to get it off completely but I'll keep working at it :( I can't tell what was used, but other then that great item. Sucks it was stained, though. 3Came damagedVery beautiful; however, came damaged. Near the top, there is a very noticeable sort of fraying over the gold detailing as if it had been scratched. Takes away from the look as a whole. There are several defective looking marks over the rest of the cloth, too. 3This think stank so badly I had to get it ...This think stank so badly I had to get it cleaned, which only abated the odor a tiny bit, so I soaked it in cold water with Woolite, which helped a little more but not enough. Then I washed it in cold water with a mild detergent, and the thing fell apart. 1Beautiful BackdropBased on other reviews, I ordered this cloth to use as an altar cloth. When it arrived, I was so impressed with it that I didn't want to cover it up! Instead, I sewed some felt pockets onto the back and bought a rod/cord and changed it into a tapestry that forms the backdrop of my altar. Based on other reviewers' recommendations to wash by hand, I wanted to avoid washing at all because I'm afraid of damaging it or dulling the vibrant black of the cloth...another reason for the tapestry idea. It's a reasonably heavy cloth - not easy to see through at all, and much thicker than I was expecting for the price. Very, very happy with my purchase...completes my altar and provides a nice pagan wall hanging for the room. My husband and children also really like the way it looks. :) 5
