Not for short people! The shower head itself is great. It's exactly what I was looking for in that there is a setting where the water comes out of both the middle and outside nozzles. I can only give it 3 stars because I'm going to have to replace it already after one use. The problem is the design flaw. The piece that attaches to the wall is too long. I'm only 5'1", and it is very hard to reach the shower head on my tiptoes. There is no way to adjust the base so the water sprays lower. This doesn't work for someone my height, but my husband is 6'1" and loves it. If you are tall, you will probably love this shower head. If you are short it isn't going to work for you. Also, ladies, you know how you need to adjust the direction of the water so you can shave your legs and it isn't hitting you? You can't do that with this. 3Attractive, functional and reasonably priced shower head with hose extension. Would buy again. Attractive and functional shower head. Primary purpose of a shower head is to deliver water for showering and it does it's job flawlessly. In this instance I let my kids pick out a shower head to replace the unit in their bathroom. My only guideline was that it needed to be reasonably priced and not requiring a plumber for install.Construction - Metal/plastic. Chromed plastic & metal finish on head and hose. Dark grey plastic water nozzles. Threading is metallic. Construction is solid. Post install there were no leaks within the hose or head.Function - I suppose effectively there are six settings however 3 seem to be primary from a harder blast to a more rainfall type flow to a mist. Kids setting is more toward the softer rainfall type flow. Water delivery is excellent it's high pressure aka 'not restricted'. Good.Installation - A snap. 5 minutes part of which was removing the old shower head. They even included Teflon tape!High marks from the kids and from parents! Great buy. 5Buy It, You'll Like It! I am quite pleased with this shower head. Over the last many years and many homes, I've had and installed probably a half dozen of these type of shower heads. Some I li8ked, some were simply better than nothing/what was there. This AquaDance is the best of them all. The stream is indeed high pressure, the adjustment lever is big enough and easy to operate, and the size plus number of jets in the shower head gives a wide spray pattern. It comes with plumbers tape to ensure there are no leaks at the joints/where it is connected to the shower arm, but with the washers they provide, the tape isn't necessary. It's simple to install, and can be installed by tightening the joints by hand - no tools necessary. I also like that it is made in the USA. 5Nice water pressure when flow restrictor is removed I used to own a 2011 waterpik shower head with 3GPM before the further EPA restriction on GPM, and I wanted something coming close to it amd found this Aquadancs model. The water pressure rated at 2.5GPM didn't come close to what I had with my waterpik. So i decided to remove the small white flow reducer and lo behold, I got way better water pressure, not quite as good as my old one but 80% there which was plenty enough. The next issue I had was that the bracket holder was too short and made my showr head hang up too high without enough inclination angle to set my showerhead flowing water straight down to the tub like a waterfall. So i bought another longer bracket and ended up very happy with my setup. So if you don't mind a couple tweaks to this shower head, you will be a satisfied customer. 4Works great for me. Nice flexible metal hose, too. I like it. It's so nice to have a more flexible metal hose than the plastic one that was always getting twisted or so unyielding to where I needed it to be. The shower head even fit my existing holder (hanger), hence there was no install needed. I just screwed one end of the metal hose into the shower head and the other end into the shower head hanger, and slid the shower head into the existing hanger. Don't forget to insert the included rubber washers inside both ends of the shower hose before you install it. As for the shower head itself, it's wider than the ones I've been using for years. Wider but not heavier. In fact, it seems lighter. I like that. The settings work well, and go from a fairly wide fine mist to a consolidated stronger narrow spray. It's easy to switch from one to the next by just sliding the lever on the shower head.I am 5'9" and it sits high enough above my head so I don't have to stoop to wash my hair. My existing hanger is about standard height, due to the fact the faucet pipe that comes out of the wall is a typical standard height. The shower head doesn't sit above my shower curtain as some have said it did theirs. I think my curtain is at a standard height, too. And with my kind of shower hanger I can bend it down an inch or more, for shorter folk. But that depends upon what kind of shower hanger you have and the height and angle of the faucet pipe that comes out of your wall. 5Great pressure- easy install, especially with wife looking over my shoulder- but not adjustable I looked at a lot of new replacement high pressure shower head and decided on this one. I took the water pressure control off before I installed it and used it for the first time this morning and I couldn't be happier. Installation was easy but I have to admit I had the hose on backwards. With my dutiful wife looking over my shoulder, she pointed out my mistake and everything fit perfectly. She left with a smile on her face and I have a shower head I really like.Update- after a week, I lowered my rating from 5 stars to 3. The issue is that the wand holder does not swivel so with the upright stance of the wand, water hits the very back of my 5' tub. I bought a replacement holder that swivels and now I can adjust it so it hits the middle of my tub. The product needs to come with a holder that swivels so it can be adjusted for the space of the shower. 3Love it! REALLY! Fast shipping, nice packaging, easy installation and works great! Super, super easy to install. I used washers and plumbers tape (which is included God love em) and not one leak. If your existing connector threads have build-up, clean them with a Brillo pad (steel wool). Do not use tools to install...just hand tighten. To remove the water regulator..turn the handle upside down..remove the following; white ring, metal square and finally, using needle-nose pliers or a small screwdriver, pop the final grey restrictor out. Love the different settings. You can adjust the shower head in the holder, there is a ball joint..just remember that part is plastic..easy fella. Wait until it's installed before you try to adjust the ball joint. The hose feels very buttery in movement, I was worried it would be in the way but it's not at all.Makes cleaning the shower and especially washing my dogs a breeze.Love, love this shower head!1/15/18Update! Went to use and the hose was leaking everywhere. An exchange is not available for this product. Amazon waived the 1-day shipping fee and I had a brand new product in my hand the very next day. The return was simple too! The manufacturer was also going to ship a replacement hose overnight, awesome service. I love that I didn't have to go anywhere, just a call to Amazon. I still LOVE the product! I would buy it again! 5Great water pressure, but need to make adjustments to the installation hardware. I have to admit, I am a shower head snob! The last time I replaced my shower head was 2011 with a "Water-Pik."I'm a female with very thick hair and it takes very strong water pressure to rinse the shampoo & conditioner out of my hair. I was skeptical of this product, mainly because of the price.Once the order was received, I was still skeptical because the shower head felt very "light-weight" and somewhat "cheap." But we installed it anyway. Honestly, this shower head doesn't disappoint...my only issue's is this purchase? In my 2 person, walk-in shower...the shower head is mounted so high that the water cools off before reaching us (making for a cool shower)! The head definitely needs to be mounted with more adaptability and a little lower...i.e., if you have a big/ small shower, the head is up so high that the water spray reaches the "back" of your shower/ bath-tub. In a one-person/ standard shower, this makes it difficult for women to shave their legs without having water running down your leg (not an ideal situation).After reading another review, we know that we need to install an alternate "piece" to make the nozzle more "forgiving."I'll update this review once we make this change. All-in-all, this is a wonderful shower-head for the money! The water pressure is much improved for me...I'm thrilled! 5Made showering even better! Bought 2 of these based on the great reviews to replace quite old existing shower heads. The AquaDance shower heads look so nice its hard to believe they are plastic. They are smooth, so no grime buildup in all the grooves. The lever to move between the water settings is awesome! Smooth easy movement with 2 fingers which clicks into place so you don't end up half way between settings and fiddling with the shower head with both soapy hands while spraying water everywhere. The water nozzles are rubberized and not recessed, so they too won't build up mildew and are easy to clean. The shower heads come with the fancy stainless steel hoses which cost $10-$12 separately, plus the handle mount. We didn't need them (yet), and the new heads attached with ease to the existing hoses and sit in the existing mounts. Could not be happier with a great product at a great price! 5Looks nice, feels cheap but WOW, the pressure! Okay, so the designer box was not so fantastic. It was smudged with finger prints that wouldn't wipe off. If it were a gift I might have been embarrassed. (Ok, I wouldn't but someone might)Now, for the nitty gritty.It's nice looking, shiney chrome plated (plastic of course). The handle is light weight which is helpful if you've got any limitations in hand strength.Installation was easy following the 1 page directions sheet (which was written in English, with full sentences & clear illustrations. No IKEA stick people or poorly transcribed foreign language to English here) I had no problems what so ever, which honestly is saying something.I'll admit, this feels cheap, very cheap. Upon first feeling it I considered sending it back. Then I thought about the fact that my current unit is several years old & I'm pretty sure I bought the cheapest one on the Walmart shelf. May as well throw this one on & see how it works right?I'm actually quite surprised! This thing really sprays! It's like I brought the garden hose in & turned it on high. (My house has good water pressure to begin with so I was surprised by the difference from my last shower head!) The water actually hits the back tub wall, well until I get in & stand in front of it which I'm dying to do. As advertised, it's got several different settings including pause. They all seem to exert equal pressure.Overall I'm pleased with this shower head & would recommend it. If it falls apart in a few months that will obviously change things but I'll be sure to update you! Until then I'm saying go ahead & buy it. For the price it's definitely worth it. 4
