    beautiful pieces but too complicated to put together even with ...beautiful pieces but too complicated to put together even with an expert in construction and furniture. it took about 3 hours to assemble both. 1Avoid at all Costs!Putting this together was awful. I had several of my friends help (one of whom is an architect!) and we collectively agree that this is the worst item we've ever had to build. Honestly, if I could go back I would not purchase and instead would spend an extra $20 on a piece that is built well, with good materials, and with instructions that are clear. Not worth saving a few dollars for the 6 weeks that it sat half-built in my apartment and the permanent wonkiness of it now. 1Assembly instructions are terribleI d say 2.5 stars but I decided to round up. It looks nice enough and the parts are sturdy. The issue I have is with the number of parts for assembly and how long it took to put together for such a small night stand. If I knew it was going to take that much effort to assemble I would have gotten something else. The instructions are terrible and it seems out of order which is what made it most difficult. 3Good quality, but difficult assemblyIt was a little difficult to put it together especially using the provided instructions but after almost 2 hours of struggling I have a sturdy, nice looking nightstand. One of the drawers still has a problem closing properly. There must be a flaw in the construction, but I can live with it.Definitely DO put rubber pieces and rails first before you create the "box", you'll be glad you did. 4Good product, Bad instructions!Once assembled it looked very nice but beware of the instructions! I bought two for night stands. First one took a few hours but once we figured it out the second one only took 45 mins. See the other reviews and install the drawer slides before assembling the box. Makes life easier. For the price and the look I give it 3 stars. Just be prepared to be confused by the instructions! 3Give it a shot!Well, so far, so good. Assembly was identical to an IKEA assembly, so if you can follow directions and heed the strong warnings from other reviewers about what to do before you put the box together, you will be fine. My boyfriend and I put these together side by side in 2.5 hours. We needed some inexpensive nightstands to get us through until we find some "real" wood and I gotta say for $81 a pop these deliver. The finish looks fragile and we have our brown sharpie ready to fill in any punctures through the very delicate appearing veneer, but overall if you aren't super careless you'll probably be fine with these. At quick and not so quick glance, these look expensive and very stylish. I also must say something that no one else seems to have picked up on and you can never, ever have a wet glass on top of these because the delicate finish on the top will likely be destroyed so have some really good impenetrable coasters ready! 4Instructions are a nightmare, the tables are nice thoughIf you buy this and follow the instructions, your table will be installed completely wrong. The instructions tell you to put the sides with the drawer slides upside down, so make sure you put C where D is supposed to go and D where C is supposed to go in order to ensure that the drawers fit properly. It's also a lot easier to screw the drawer slides in the boards before putting the box together. (The instructions tell you to do it after you screw in the sides and its hard to see the screw holes after you do this). The first table i put together was a nightmare, but I realized what was wrong with the instructions by the time i built the second table. The tables themselves look nice, but the instructions definitely could be better. 3Good but with provisosThe other reviews cover the ins and outs here: this item is attractive but rather delicate and flimsy. I have it set up in a place in my living room for light use and it should be fine. If there s kids, pets, water or heavy use then I d say this is not for you. The legs are especially flimsy, if a kid leaned or sat on it, there s a good chance it would collapse. Construction time was 2+ hours, so read the tips here and be patient. 3Perfectly SatisfiedExactly what I wanted and expected. It's made of compressed particle board, but it's pretty sturdy for the price.As far as assembly, the instructions ARE a bit hard to follow, but as a IKEA era veteran it wasn't a total disaster. I ordered 2, so the couple of mistakes were made on the first one, and the second took all of 20 minutes (if that)Pro tip: attach the black rubber inserts that hold the drawer rails, and the rails too, BEFORE you create the "box" and that will save you some time/frustration/cuss words.Great modern look, and a bargain to boot 4Great for the price - worth it and looks great!For the price, it is a very nice unit, and well made (again, for the price). I deducted one star, as the assembly instructions are slightly wrong - pay close attention to the first few steps, you are bound to catch it. I took my time putting together (I have a lot of experience with that Swedish made self assembly furniture) and it took me about 45 minutes. I would recommend this unit and I would purchase again from this manufacturer. 4
