    Pretty solid dresser but issues with quality of workmanshipIt's really heavy. If you're putting it in a bedroom, take it upstairs in pieces. It took a couple hours to put together. Extra hardware for all screws and bolts. Our issues, first, there was a random hole drilled in the front of the base. This piece is heavy. We had a hard time handling it and didn't see the random drill hole until the entire dresser was assembled. We can fill it with white wood filler and it will disappear, but we shouldn't have to. The second issue, one of the drawers had holes for the support bar drilled in the wrong place. This is on the inside and two dowels are supposed to fit in the holes. We easily drilled a new hole so we didn't have to leave pieces of a dresser scattered all over the bedroom while we waiting for the MFG to send replacement parts. The point is, the parts were damaged and/or poorly made and we shouldn't have had to fix it ourselves. I contacted the manufacturer and they of course offered to send up to four replacement parts, but with the dresser already assembled, I am not taking it apart to swap two pieces. Disappointed with the workmanship. IT could be a nice piece. the Home Styles company is owned by Flexsteel, so I was expecting better. Granted it's pretty inexpensive, it's some particle boards. it's not an heirloom piece. But it's kids furniture that you assemble yourself, it should have blemish free parts in the new packaging. Also note, it will get scuff marks from any jewelry you are wearing during assembly. Take off rings and watches when you put it together and be prepared to have to touch it up every now and then. Overall, I would keep looking if I had to buy again. 3Absolutely Beautiful !O my this drawer is absolutely beautiful, it's perfect for my daughter's clothes. The drawers aren't really deep for adult clothes but it's perfect for children's clothes. I love that you can adjust the drawer's height and was really happy when I saw that it already comes with a wall strap, you will definitely need to strap it to a wall if you plan on having it in your child's room. 5Not sturdyThis chest looks good and I love the top jewelry drawer, but it isn't stable and the drawers don't stay completely shut. Way too expensive for how poorly made it is. It's like something you'd pick up at a thrift store. 1If you want a perfect piece...Where to begin? Even though I like this dresser very much, I must agree that the quality is not the same as another Home Styles piece that I owned. Everything was intact except for one small thing which unfortunately I only noticed after almost completely assembling the piece. More on that later. Assembly was difficult, in fact I haven't been able to finish the assembly because of the two broken pieces. The drawer fronts (the part you see) come pre-attached to the drawer box front (take a look at your kitchen cabinets to see what I'm talking about), but they do not necessarily align well with the spaces the drawers slide into. You have to loosen the screws that attach the drawer fronts to the drawer box front, wiggle them up and down and back and forth to get them to align (yeah, right) and then tighten the screws again. This did not work as easily as the instructions seem to imply they would (noted by another reviewer) and I had to hold them tightly to get the screws tightened. I managed to get two drawers aligned (one didn't need it), then when I started tightening the screws on the top drawer, the screw came through the front of the drawer. I removed the screws completely to see what was going on and noticed the plastic piece that the screws go into was broken. Since the drawer front was already loose when the drawer was being put together, I believe they were broken previous to shipping. So I have a drawer front that I cannot attach to the drawer box because of the broken pieces, plus I can't get the screws out of the drawer box either. And then there's that hole in the front. Why I am not shipping it back and forgetting it or asking for a replacement? Because I had already spent 3 hours putting it together and because I think the damages can be remedied. If you want a perfect piece, then I recommend you order a different chest of drawers. FYI: My piece measures (the top of the piece) 36" x 16". The body of the chest is 33 1/2" x 14 1/2". The drawer interiors measure 27 3/8" x 12 3/4" with the top drawer being a little over 3 inches deep and the remaining three drawers being a little over 4 inches deep. 4Falling apart after a few yearsUpdate August 2019: This dresser doesn t last. Unfortunately the whole thing shakes and is not stable. Tightening everything didn t help. Save your money and buy something nicer or else you ll be throwing it away in a few years like me. Tried to contact the company but they said the warranty is only for one year.July 2015: This is a great little dresser! I am pleased with the quality and it was fairly easy to assemble once you get everything laid out. I also found it priced better on Amazon than two other sites. 1Pretty badI didn't have high expectations, I figured it'd be the same quality that you'd get at the big hardware store; not great, but decent, probably lasting a couple years. It's pretty bad, honestly. It's not wood, it's not even the same particle board in the hardware store brands, it's more like a couple steps up from cardboard. The paint job is slapdash. Mine arrived (2 days late) with a big gouge out of the top front, in a pristine box, so it was most likely put in the box damaged. It's not worth it to return, but caveat emptor friends.The pros: assembly is straightforward and the hardware is packaged brilliantly. 2Nice chest!This is really a much prettier, solid chest than I imagined for the price and having to be assembled. Most of the pieces do need assembled, it took about an hour and a half for two of us to put together, but the end result is great! 5Beautiful Dresser/Great ValueI received this chest early this morning and apparently I didn't pay attention to the part where it says it has to be assembled. Actually it was easy to assemble with some help, it didn't take long. It is pretty heavy though so it's easier with 2 people. It's a really nice dresser, I am using to put my TV on. It came packaged very well, all the pieces were there and there were no broken parts. I think it's a great value for the money. I bought different knobs because glass knobs look better in the room it's in. 5Old and damagedThe guy just arrived to assemble the Bermuda dresser and when he opened the box he showed me the bottom piece of the dresser. It's been in the box for so long that it has staple indentations and it's either mildew and scratched.I'm not sure if it's been used before and somebody returned it and they repackaged it and sold it again.I'm disappointed in this dresser arriving like this and will end up sanding it and painting it because it's too much of a hassle to return this piece and wait for another one. 2Well made and attractiveWhile it's plain to see when assembling the differentiation between this piece and something similar from Ethan Allen, i must say that it's a quality purchase for the price and looks/works great for our purposes (dresser/changing table for a nursery). I should note, though, that this wouldn't fit a lot of adult clothes, should that be your aim 4
