Customer Reviews

Still available and excellentExcellent product that was easily available at one time. I tried the all plastic compactor bags but they always bunch up after activating the compactor plunger. These paper/plastic bags, no problem. Continue using my compactor as always. I highly recommend to anyone still using a Trash Compactor. 5Love the paper compactor bagsLove these trash bags. I prefer these paper bags with plastic liners over plastic bags. They are more expensive, but less likely to tear, rip and leak. I did get one in the bag that was made wrong. The seams were not lined up. We didnt use that one bag, but the other 11 were fine. I used to get them at Sears, but Sears only carry them online now. 5These trash compactor bags belong in the trash at the curb...These trash compactor bags belong in the trash at the curb... I've used the whirlpool brand bags for 10 years... Never had a leak or a bag blow out. 8 out of the last 10 of these bags have had fluid running out the compactor or the bottoms disintegrated/blown out. They look like good quality.... But the plastic liner isnt sealed in the fold at the bottom, which then soaks the outer paper. Stay away from these bags if any fluids go in your compactor. 1Best Price on web without sacrificing qualityI d given up finding garbage compactor bags that didn t break the bank. I couldn t be happier with this product! Price is as amazing as the bag! I can tell little to no difference when comparing these to NAME BRAND BAGS. The fit is perfect, I don t use my compactor for any liquid filled items, so I can t speak to whether they leek or not. I can say they had led everything I put in them : metal food cans, plastic soda bottles of all sizes ,and all kinds of paper products . Not a tear to be found. I highly recommend these bags and my mother is now buying them for her compactor! 5These bags will not hold up when you remove them from the compactor! These are very cheaply-made bags. We have 25% of them fall apart when we removed them from the compactor. I have NEVER had this happen before with other bags. We have to change them twice a week in order to avoid dropping a weeks worth of garbage on the floor, making these twice as expensive as our previous brand. I only bought them for the convenience of Amazon, but I will go back to the local store to buy good bags in the future. 1Love them, much better than the plastic genericsRead the reviews, tried them... Love them. I truly prefer these to plastic generics. These fit my JennAir compactor like a glove. I have found them to leak, rarely and only under duress. One really shouldn't be pouring liquids in to a compactor... yeah, OK some things kinda liquify and I've had some leakage if that gets too bad. I just don't do that. They go in my compactor easily, come out easily... And have less plastic so they're more 'green' than the full plastic alternatives if you care about that stuff. I do.Saw some complaints that the bags tear up. I just don't see that if you remove them properly. I had one tear and I thought "OK, I'm a dork" because I saw why it tore. The top of the bag has split corners to allow it to fit down around the sides of the compactor... which it does nicely. Because they're split corners, if you aren't careful about how you remove the bag you could totally tear down those corners. If you think about it before just grabbing and yanking that sucker out of there, you might fold the edges back up...unrolling them so you have a high top portion you can pull together towards the center of the compactor space and pull vertically to remove the bag. It slides out smoothly and no tearing problem. I've had no issues since my realization I was making my own life hard. These are good quality bags, they fit wonderfully... good price, give them a try. 5A Compactor Bag that Stands Up to Your TrashThis compactor bag is just what we were looking for. The paper lining lends itself to the way we use our compactor - on extra pack in between times when we add more trash. This lining also helps contain any messiness from the trash. Glad to have found this! We have used products like this in the past but they were no longer available. We were ecstatic to find this! 5Stronger than I expected them to be.These trash compacter liner bags are the only ones I've been able to find that fit a 16" deep compactor; all the others I've found are advertised as fitting the 15" depth compactors. The liners that were delivered with the compactor were heavy polyvinyl bags, so I was hesitant to try these bats which are plastic-lined paper bags. I can report, however, that the first bag has been filled and removed without incident; no threat of breaking this time. So, I guess time will tell but the outlook is good. 4Fits Whirlpool Gladiator PerfectlyMost of the complaints I see on here can be solved with an $18 roped plastic "caddy." It goes down first before you install the bag, then lifts cleanly out by the rope-handles with no hassles on trash day. Also, I keep a regular lined kitchen trash can next to the compactor for extra messy/wet disposals. Between the Gladiator and the 'messy' can, they last this family of five a week with no changes needed. Just take 'em both out to the curb on trash day & then re-line them. No ! 5cant believe the quality for the price!I was shocked when the price of bags nearly doubled at my local source. Tried these because I saw good ratings and the price is unbelievable. These are a quality product. I have used for the past 4 years and won't buy anything else. the have a paper outside plus the plastic inside. there have been times when we have filled to what I think is beyond capacity (translation: kids did not take out trash) and held up like a champ. highly recommend! 5
