    Nice to have on hand, not for long term or heavy duty use. It is good as a starter kit but the bits I have used have worn quickly. I built two saw horses and went through 4 #2 Phillips head bits in the process. Now I am not the most experienced with power tools...which is why I bought this, but the DeWalt replacement bits are far, far superior. I think this is good for some of those projects you may only use a few of these bits and have them on hand if you randomly need them. They are not for heavy duty use yet as far as I can tell. On the flip side, you will have a case to store the bits you buy to replace the ones here that wear out quickly. 4You get what you pay for I give this 5 stars because you get what you pay for, you get a nice case for 14 bucks and a bit set, they aren't quality but it gives you the chance to see what bits you will be using the most and upgrade them to higher quality without spending a bunch of money on a set with high quality bits, that you never use, I bought this with that in mind and if you are expecting anything more from a 14 dollar set... Well that's you being stupid! 5Useful purchase Bought this with the BLACK+DECKER LDX120C 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill/Driver and I found it to be a great investment. I have used most of these drill bits for a number of outdoor/indoor projects and eventually when I replace the drill for a stronger one (possibly an impact driver) I hope to be able to use these with it as well. 5Beauty is skin deep Every time the guys at work see this thing for the first time, they all compliment it. "Looks like a nice set," etc., etc.Which is what I thought when I ordered these. I should have known better. It is B&D, after all.The tips wear out VERY easily. The free ones that come with a box of screws are better. Heck, the ones I bought from ACE Hardware (their own brand) were better.The bits are NOT DURABLE at all. I have broken several without any abuse. And everything started to rust after a couple of months. So I would never buy or recommend this set.AND, also counted in the piece-count is a bin of sheet metal screws within the case. If I missed that in the product description, then shame on me. But a good portion of what you're buying is poor-quality screws. 1You get what you pay for; B&D - cheap price, cheap quality K-R-A-P-O-L-A. I thought it was a nice little carrying case and assortment of drill bits, until I actually needed to use them. The very first home carpentry job, trying to drill through 3" of dried fir with the 1/8" bits, and not one but TWO bits broke off trying to twist them out, after my equally crappy B&D cordless drill chuck kept stripping out and losing the grip on the bits. You get what you pay for. I'm now officially done with cheap Black and Decker junk. Spend the extra money on better quality tools. 2Dull, dull, dull, ... This is a nice assortment of bits, but the bits are dull right out of the box. I was using them on some poplar which is a fairly soft wood (despite being technically a hardwood). The countersink bit was completely useless; it couldn't cut through the wood at all. The brad point bits were functional but very slow to cut through the wood so I don't expect them to last long. The conventional drill bits were better but still slow cutting. In the long run, I expect I'll throw these all away and keep only the screwdriver bits. 2Less variety than it looks like; missing some common sizes I ordered this bit set at the same time as an electric drill and a projector shelf I needed to install. I didn't know exactly what bit sizes I would need, but at first glance this looked like a decent assortment so I figured it'd do the job.Turned out I needed a 5/32 drill bit, a 10 mm nut driver, and a T25 Torx bit. This kit only has the first of those. The nut drivers are SAE (fractions) only, not metric, and of the 10 Torx bits there are only 3 different sizes: T10 (x3), T15 (x4), and T20 (x3). Likewise there are 4 copies of the (standard length) #2 Phillips bit and 2 copies of the longer #2. No hex bits at all. It seems strange to favor duplicates over variety!My only other complaint is that it's a "bit" hard to remove and replace the bits, especially the drill bits.Otherwise everything seems good quality and the price is quite reasonable. Just take a close look and make sure it has the variety you need before purchasing. 3Good to Have Full Video Review:[...]Pros:Good setDecent varietyBits seem strong and good qualityCons:each assorted screw counts towards the "109" pieces 4Nice packaging / Assortment and Very Useful I don't usually write reviews quickly because I like to wait and see how things do on the long run, but I'm noticing I don't get back to writing reviews so I thought I'd put one now. I ordered the Black & Decker drill around Christmas time and never got around to ordering the drill set. We just had hurricane Irma here in Miami, and I had some plywood put up and wanted it down fast. I couldn't wait for my neighbor or some guy with his drill to come by, and I remembered my trusty Black & Decker I forgot I even bought. So Prime ordered this bit set, and was excited when it came. Woo hoo, a woman excited to get a tool set, haha. I needed the Hex bit to take it out the Tapcon screws. Well I'm proud to say I was able to remove five pieces of plywood all by myself!! It felt good for once not needing to call someone or wait in plywood darkness. I did notice with the Black and Decker drill, I had to keep re-tightening and inserting the bit. However, once I realize what was happening it was no big deal to tighten. I also use the regular Phillips head on it and that worked as well. I can't say much about drilling but at least so far I'm pleased with the assortment included, and the sweet case it comes in. Mine close perfectly fine, and the bits fit fine in their spots. Also on a side note about the Black & Decker drill, I charged it at Christmas time forgot all about it, pulled it out a week ago, and surprised it still had a very long lasting charge!! When the sets are on sale I think they're a good deal for little basic things around the house. 5Works For Me I'm going to start this review by saying I don't know much about tools. All I know is I needed basic tools to do household work. This was cheap, the tools seem to be good quality, and I can do almost everything I need. The only thing missing was the hex tool that a lot of ikea stuff use. Bummer on that. I'll attach images so you can see all of the tools that come in the kit. 5
