Awesome...until the lid fails you.I will admit that the cup itself is very study, but the lid....forget about! I have purchased a total of 7 extra large bottles (that's a lot of money), and within a month or two time span, the lid on two of them have broken from doing things such as closing the top and twisting the lid shut. I did not man-handle them either. I love the capacity of these shakers, but after contacting Blender Bottle company themselves, they do not appear to be willing to give me two new lids. I even told them I would be willing to purchase just the lid themselves. I just simply do not want to purchase an entire new bottle when a person should be able to buy a lid only for half the price (or less) of a complete bottle, seeing as they are not very cheap! 1Finally Larger Size Quality BlenderBottleThese, of course, are the very best for shaking up your drinks. When I saw they offered it in a 45oz I couldn't buy it fast enough. Well worth the money because they are very well made. This is now my go-to shake-cup! You will be happy you bought it! It's a little bit of a squeeze, but it does fit in a standard cup holder in the car.I know for me, in no time at all I have already drank 2 of these and that is great for getting my water intake in for the day! I don't know about you, but at times that is not an easy task. My secret is to continue to either add ice-cubes or cold water to my shake. The flavor is still enough so I drink it and yet I'm getting more fluid the way I'm supposed to!The snap top is great and their new bottle design with the rounded bottom ensures everything mixes up quickly. I use it for my ketones shakes, vitamins, and then finally to flavor my water. 5Tired of only urinating 5 times a day????!If you're like me and you've always wondered what it would be like to go to the bathroom 28 times in one day look no further than this behemoth. I can't say it would have been impossible without this Blender Bottle, but I certainly would not have been able to challenge myself to my fullest potential. I've never experienced premium hydration in a way that I have with this Blender Bottle. If I were stranded on a desert island with only 3 items to bring I would only bring 2 of these Blender Bottles full of fresh water in the hopes that I get rescued within the first 4 years before they run out of water. Buy this Blender Bottle and Maximize your hydration potential! 5And the super heavy 12 guage blender is a beastFinally a shaker I'm not struggling to fit 2 scoops of protein into. Gotta admit when I first received this I was slightly taken back by the shear size, but that's why I wanted it. The way the bottom is molded means no more nasty protein stuck in the corner. And the super heavy 12 guage blender is a beast, it will mix anything. 5My favorite BlenderBottle.I have many BlenderBottles of various sizes from 14OZ-32OZ and everything between. I have been wanting a larger bottle and did not realize BlenderBottle made a 45OZ version. I really like the 45OZ version. I have big hands and it's easy to get my big fat carpenter hands all the way down to the bottom for easy cleaning.There is only one drawback to the 45OZ version. The lid is a little harder to close. On mine I have to put some pressure on the middle between the hinge and the part that goes over the opening. Without doing so it won't close properly nine out of ten times. I made a mess out of my gym bag before I realized this. The good news is. That once properly closed it stays closed and there is no need to be concerned with it opening my accident. 5AwesomeThis thing is gigantic, which is perfect for guys like me who drink mass/weight gainers. Regular blender bottles are decent, but this gets an entire serving in it with room to spare. I love Serious Mass by Optimum Nutrition, but it was a bit of a struggle to fit just half a serving (one scoop) into the regular blender bottle. I can fit the entire serving (two scoops) into this big bottle with no problems, and it isn't super thick or anything.Plus, if you just like drinking a lot of water and hate refilling all the time, this will help cut down on that. 4Essential for those mixing 2+ scoopsthe extra room just makes it more practical. I love being able to fill it to exactly 30oz water then being able to add the scoop of Gatorade without having to approximate the percentage of scoop which ultimately makes your drink too sweet or not sweet enough. I actually purchased it because I drink soylent (powdered version) from time to time and keep my 2 scoops in a nutribomb container which I can easily dump in without any mess. The mouth is larger so none of the powder spills out and more importantly the extra room in container makes it so that I can have all my water and then dump all the powder at once without being near the lid of the bottle. Anyone who has consumed powdered products undoubtedly knows what happens when you fill the container to the brim prior to blending; you get chunks/clumps of unblended powder and some chunks stuck near mouthpiece. You will get a nicely blended drink because of size and also because of the heavier duty ball that comes with it. As a side note, the bottle overall is pretty heavy duty as I found out when my full bottle fell out of my locker from about 4 feet with no liquid coming out with a small bit of plastic misshapen on lid where it fell. Enjoy 5Big, sturdy, and leak proof.This size is perfect for my monstrously muscled, weight lifting husband. The shaker spring is more heavy duty than the 20 ounce shaker cups. I have one as well and love it. When the kids and I go out, it holds enough for all of us! My favorite aspect of it, is that it never leaks. I've thrown it in my bag, where it has spent the day, and not worried about the rest of my belongings getting wet. 5BlenderBottle doesn't employ people for quality controlThis company has garbage quality control! First blender bottle I ordered in this size was great. Never leaked, always held my pre-workout. Then I dropped the deadlift bar on it and needed a new one.So I bought this blender bottle. It has the same issue as one I had prior - I seal it up, and it leaks out of the twist portion. I didn't want a shaker bottle product that gets pre-workout all over my hands and gym equipment when I go to shake it.Pass on this. The odds of you getting a decent product seems to be about 50% 1Only bottle that could replace my nalgeneBigger. Better.edit: My bottle lasted me ALMOST 11 months. Included are images of the damage. I SWEAR this was from a drop no higher than 4', it was just a freak of nature 1/1,000,000 drop that shattered it perfectly. I am not even mad, a bit impressed even. I had just filled it with water and supplements and was headed to the gym when I fumbled it and it landed at a slight angle, bottom first and smacked the ground parallel, causing the inertia of the water to rupture the bottle almost entirely in half, including the thicker plastic lid! I reached out to the company with no response, but like I said I am not mad, this is still the best bottle I've had and I have already bought another identical one. The ONLY complaint I have about my experience using it was when I took it in the sauna, the rounded bottom became slightly distended so that it made it impossible to stand the bottle straight up without a slight wobble because the bottom was no longer flat. Just my experience, don't take it in the sauna and if you do, keep the lid open so pressure doesn't build inside. Other than that, I've dropped the thing thousands of times and it never broke. Another note, the clip has a small amount of rubber coating on the inner part of the loop, which seems cool at first, but depending on how you use the bottle, it will shred away immediately or last forever, depending on use. I clipped mine onto a carabiner on my pack and it shredded it, while the clip remains intact. Still 5/5 stars and recommend! I feel lost without it :'{ 5
