Well worth it!I bought these for my son because his school has gone "green" and I also could not stand all the baggies we were using (a waste of money). I saw a lot of option online that were a plastic-like material and sealed more like a Ziploc yet reusable. We went with these because 1) they had a zipper and looked easy to open/close; 2) the design and 3) did not seem like it would wear over time. It was definitely a great call! These are a winner. My son does not have to struggle with opening and closing these bags because they are easy to open. The zipper is simple. He and his friends love the superhero design and I like that they are lightweight and easy to clean. I don't love that I have to wash everyday but they turn inside out easily because they are not that thick material so it is not a problem, but I do have to air dry them for morning. I have washed in the dishwasher without any issue, although I have not used the "heated dry" cycle just to be safe. All in all a great product! Well worth it (and no more plastic baggies for lunch :) 5So cute, so handy!I'm honestly in my early 20's and I'm trying to lose weight. Part of that includes avoiding the bad stuff when you're hungry and on the go. I pack this with healthy fruit/granola bars, peanuts, a baggy of baby carrots or grape tomatoes. I keep it in my purse and carry it on me at all times. I can only imagine the uses a parent would get out of this. I highly recommend. It's so cute! 5Easy way to reduce ziplocs, make sure no soap residue is lingering, chips get staleI have really reduced the amount of ziplocs I use after just a couple weeks, but it let's air in so by lunch some food becomes stale. Mainly use it for dry food such as nuts and chips. I have tried washing in both the washing machine and dishwasher, both work, but I switched to dishwasher only lately to reduce soap smell. I have to make sure soap residue / strong smell isn't on the bag because it transfers to the food, especially damp food like sliced apples, which after one bite felt like detergent was in my mouth. I think it occurred from my washing machine leaving soap residue due to the small amount of water it uses, but I could probably fix that with a second rinse cycle. I might switch to quick hand wash with dawn where harsh soap won't be used to fix that problem. Overall very helpful though. 4Awesome Snack BagsWe are a family that stays on the go, so these are great for us! I have replaced our plastic sandwich bag usage with these two snag bags. The bags are easy to clean by rinsing out, washing in a washing machine, or running through the dishwasher on the top rack. We keep our bags rinsed out with the dry snacks, and there is no issues with the smell or cleanliness. Also, the patterns are great as well. These bags are an easy way to have environmentally friendly, stylish snacks for yourself or your little one. 5Very happy with these snack bagsI bought these for my son to take his lunch to preschool. I pack a sandwich in one and pretzels or chips in the other. Like others have commented, things will go stale in these bags if left in them for very long (as we found out after he didn't eat his pretzels in three days; when he did try to eat them they were stale and very hard). Each night when we get home, I hand wash the bags and hang them to dry and they're dry by morning when I pack his lunch. We'll probably be adding a few more soon. These bags are so convenient for so many things. And it's one step closer for me to stop using and buying plastic bags. I chose these snack bags with zippers over other brands with velcro closures because I hate velcro, and I wanted a more stable closure. 5Everyday snack bagWe LOVE these bags for our purposes. My son was starting kindergarten this year and is autistic. I wanted something to distinguish between his lunch since he takes it everyday and his "snack" that he brings everyday as well. I put his snack in this bag or the two smaller bumkin reusable snack bags. In this bag I can easily fit a large apple by itself. Options below what we put in it typically for purpose of someone looking to judge size.Small to medium apple with small package of crackersApplesauce pouch and snack size graham crackers(2) Cutie oranges with snack graham crackersFor some looking at the smaller snack size bags, we love them as well. We can fit a granola, cereal or benvita bar in there and snack size package of raisins possibly a cutie orange depending on the bar. I like both sizes since it's gives different options but the larger ones are definitely my favorite given my son loves taking applesauce and other larger items but I love the snack ones for cereal, granola or benevita bars.I have used the with out other packaged items in there but as other reviewers have noted, things can dry up quickly. However, I sometimes assemble his snacks for a few days ahead of time in these bags and I've had no problem with raisins drying out. We usually store our raisins in a Mason Jar to keep fresh until use but I am able prep up to two days with these in there without them drying out or getting hard, so I would say it just depends. I personally don't use them for other than packaged items. I have these small reusable baby food jars from our old Baby Bullet that I often will add Goldfish crackers or pretzels into the jars and then put in the snack bag. The jars fit great in there. Our purpose for the snack bags was to help our son distinguish between his snack and lunch for school. We've had no issues and he LOVES these bags. We did the Mario ones as my son is obsessed with Mario and loves that the bag actually look like he's playing the game.As for washing and wear and tear. I don't have to wash my daily given we usually have packaged or fresh fruit such as apples or oranges in there but I usually wash them weekly but we do hand wash them and air dry. We've been using for four months now and no issues with wear and tear.All in all, given our purposes, we love them and I will be buying more for my younger child's snacks and to have more on hand for prepping. 5Adorable and reusable? Win win for me!!I initially bought these bags in order to make less of an impact on the environment since I prep my meals every week and always use plastic bags. I am also a HUGE Nintendo fan, so I had to have these. These are great! I feel they are easy to clean and very reliable in how much you can fit into these tiny bags! I also am very satisfied with the ability to reduce a little bit of my waste in the process. I have received so many compliments on these little bags. I do notice those that air flow occurs very easily with these bags, so I cannot prepare my popcorn or carrots too early as they get soft due to the air perforation. Lastly, I wouldn't recommend washing these in the washer with fabric softener. I know it seems like a given, but I accidentally did and my popcorn tasted like Downy instead of truffle. Just a tip!! 5I really love this snack bagI really love this snack bag ...my son is 3 and loves superheros but I don't use it for snacks I actually been shopping around for a nice bag to put my sons asthma pump And spacer I was quite nervous that it wouldn't fit but must I say it fit PERFECT ...... 5Super cool pouches for stuff, not so good for keeping snacks fresh...I got intrigued by this whole zero-waste trend everywhere online and saw people suggesting reusable snack bags. I think it s a great idea and after researching, when I found the Nintendo-themed ones, it was a must-buy !They work on a basic level, but they did not meet my expectations I thought for sure this was an upgrade in every way to sealable ziplock bags, and without the wastefulness if you don t reuse those. I can keep dry snacks like nuts and pretzels in a ziplock for a week (or more?) and they still taste the same. I put pretzels in one of these and the next day they were already stale. Disappointing that the trusty ziplock outperformed this. If you eat the snacks that day, it s not a problem. But if you are like me and put them in your work computer bag for emergencies throughout the week, you will be annoyed when your snack you were counting on is gross.After this happened, I stopped using them for food and now use them for things like pencils, cables, and travel supplies. Many others on here are giving generally positive reviews and have this complaint too (even some say same-day staleness happens!), so while the average rating is good and the product is handy, they fail for food storage. I would recommend you search for airtight snack bags, which I am doing right now... 3Adorable Snack Bags for Short Term Snack StoringAdorable snack bags for princess loving littles.Great size and weight for snacks on the go. Easy to wash (I typically just hand wash with warm water and soap, squeeze out excess water and prop up over a glass to air dry).The only thing I wish is that they were better sealed. An additional seal besides the zipper would be great, as snacks tend to get stale if you store them too long. I like to have snacks on hand in the car or diaper bag in case of unexpected hangry littles, but the way these bags are designed (just a zipper), you can t store cracker type snacks for more than a day as they get stale.Not a huge deal and I would still buy these snack bags again for their cute design and environment friendly purpose! 4
