Customer Reviews

Size Works in Freezer Ice DispenserThe motor to our fridge water line/water dispenser/ice maker broke. I bought six of these trays and quickly filled the freezer ice dispenser bin. The ice cubes pass through it to dispense through the freezer door perfectly. My ice maker usually makes those standard freezer crescent shape, and I was concerned standard ice cubes would be too large and might hurt the dispenser. Anyway, if you need ice trays for that purpose, this works well!Cubes are small, square and easy to pop out of the trays. As other commented, the smaller size means they freeze quicker than larger cubes. 5Lots of cubes, but trays are warped.I needed small trays for my small freezer, so these fit perfect, but the trays themselves are warped, they came a little askew when new and have warped more after freezing over and over. But they work. Cubes are a pretty good size for small trays, with lots of cubes. they stack precariously, I can only stack 2 at a time and very carefully or else the top tray will fall inside the lower tray and spill the water. I needed them to stack 3 high, but oh well. The plastic they are made of is very pliable, so far none have cracked or leaked. Its super easy to twist and release the cubes. One star omitted because they don't stack at least 3 high without spilling, they could, if they weren't crooked, but I assume its because of the type of plastic used, which makes them durable, pliable and not easy to break, crack or leak. Maybe the design could be modified so that the trays stack without the possibility of falling within the lower trays. Then I wouldn't care if they are warped, the pliability is worth a bit of warp, but not if they keep spilling before freezing. Design needs review. 4Good small cubes.Takes about 2 hr 30 minutes to freeze in our freezer if left standing without anything blocking air circulation, otherwise if something is under it it takes about 5 hours to freeze. When the ice is ready I dump them into an old plastic Oak farms ice cream tub that's (1 gallon 1 pint in size) the brand isn't really relevant but the size is perfect to dump into the bin without it going everywhere.Pros:+ Small cubes were used for freezing coconut milk into small portions+ Freezes quickly (depending on air circulation)+ Small size could fit into a dorm/office fridge/freezer+ Small cubes would fit in water bottles with a slightly wide mouth (think smart water bottles)+ Removes easily, no having to fight to get your ice out.Cons:- Ice cube trays arrived deformed (their curved up in the middle) and don't sit properly on any flat surface. They tend to leak if not balanced correctly on the way to (or in) the freezer. If you have a wire basket (I have a 2 layered bottom freezer) water may leak onto your items on the lower shelf.- Stackable, but reduces air circulation resulting in slower freezing times.- People who love ice will be sad to hear that emptying both trays will not fill a 32oz cup. 4Cool small cubes that I enjoy!I just love the small cubes in my drinks! They were easy to use and they haven t cracked or warped. I didn t give a high score on taste - the ice cubes did not taste like plastic - they just tasted like regular ice cubes. I highly recommend - my kids like it when I mix large & small cubes. Would not recommend allowing small children these ice cubes bc they could be a choking hazzard. 5Only thing "mini" about these is the size of the cubesOverall size is pretty much the same as the regular ice cube trays. But the little tiny cubes melt faster than bigger ones. They come out of the tray alright, unless you overfill a little, then you get a solid piece of ice on top of the cube compartment, which makes a bunch stick together. I bought them because my old tray wouldn't twist them out so good any more, and I can always use freezer space. I'll be replacing these before long. 2Adorable quick-freezing mini cubes!Love the Camco Mini Ice Cube Trays! We had an ice machine break after many years of use, and I felt it took too much counter space, and chose not to replace it. Then we were buying bags of ice, which got inconvenient. I bought one 2-pack of the Camco trays, and this is all we seem to need for the two of us. We're not throwing any parties, or filling any coolers. It's keeping up just fine for some glasses of ice water, or soda / pop. They freeze quickly because they are smaller in size, and I'm having no trouble getting the ice out of the trays. 5Great size, dimensions, and price for mini ice cube traysI absolutely LOVE these mini ice cube trays!! While visiting relatives, I preferred having my own ice cube supply and these fit perfectly within my section of the freezer. The ice cubes are a cute size and don't take too long to make. Glad it was a 2-pack, although I just use 1 for now. I'll use the others for pudding-pop cubes! 5Chewers of ice, REJOICE!!!I drink a LOT of iced tea, and I also chew the ice (don't @ me, I hear about it enough from my dentist, but anyways My freezer stopped making ice cubes (I think I exhausted it, poor thing) so I'd been making ice with ordinary blue trays, but I only have room for a couple of them, which meant I needed to pop them several times a day. Since I like to chew ice (and also to make it freeze faster) I would only fill the trays half way, but this only encouraged them to crack when I twisted them to pop out the ice. All this opening and closing of the freezer would warm it up just enough to make the ice cubes stick together, so they would be a pain to get out via the dispenser in the door (which still works, bless it).So when I happened to see these mini-trays I was intrigued. They were certainly priced right! They were warped a little from being shrink-wrapped, but I sat them in hot water to soften them up a bit, bent them straight, stacked them upside down with a saucepot on top until they'd cooled off, and they straightened right out (well, most of them, but I just put that one on top, now). They're rigid enough to carry with one hand, even stacked and filled with water. They're the perfect size cube. They melt a little faster than full-sized cubes, of course, but I'm not the type of person to let a glass of tea sit around, anyway, and easy to chomp. I was so impressed that I bought more. The best part is I can fit twelve trays on my freezer shelf, which will make enough ice (and then some!) to last an entire day, so I only have to pop them once. This means the cubes in the bin don't stick together, and they're small enough to always go through the dispenser without getting caught or jammed on something.tl;dr: The trays are awesome; so nice I bought 'em twice. 5Awesome! Never thought I'd fall in love with an ice cube tray! Not much to a person can say about an ice cube tray, but I love these! They are SO EASY to get out of the tray. Just one slight turn of your wrists (no bending, or re-twisting like on other stubborn trays) and each square cube glides out perfectly. Think of it as if you're making cupcakes. You can spray Pam in the muffin tins and once ready, with a little effort you'll get them out, although probably not entirely intact. But it's even easier if you use cupcake paper inserts and pull the cupcakes in their wrapper out with no effort and in one piece. Just like our little ice cube tray friends right here. Nice analogy, I know. ;) 5I was skeptical at firstThe first set of these I bought years ago were almost $7.00 for just 2 of them. I looked all over the place and these ice trays were small enough and came with two trays. When they came in the mail I quickly made ice cubes. I did not fill them all the up, only about half way. Well in the end I came back months later to buy more because they are the perfect size and now they are so cheap that I bought three sets and I have three more sets in my cart right now. YOU WILL LOVE THEM if you like little ice cubes. 5
