Most excellent for baguettes Most excellent for baguettes. Keeps the shape rounded like they should be, and the perforations allow for the steam to come through and give a proper crust all around. Very easy to clean, I just wipe em down. I should have gotten 2-- if you're doing 6 baguettes, you can fit them both in the oven at the same time, as opposed to doing 1 batch, and then waiting for the tray to cool down for the 2nd batch. Makes baguettes much more consistent. 5Not truly non-stick for me. I have made 15 - 20 batches of bread. The first 3 came out perfect, they slid right off. But with the fourth and subsequent batches, the bread sticks. The pan has never been in the dishwasher. No matter how much flour or cornmeal you use on the bottom, the bread sticks. The last batch required me to literally rip the loaves in half length-wise and soak the rest of the bread off in water. I don't like using oil as it gives the bread a different taste. So if you are looking for true non-stick, you might want to think twice. 1Good up to 450F The max temp is the problem. It claims to only be safe up to 450F where a lot of bread recipes that talk call for temperatures as high as 500F, now you can get around the limit but it is not as versatile as it could be. 4They work quite well - baguettes come out with a nicely browned bottom this is the second one of these that I've bought (left the first one behind in a move by accident). I haven't had any problems with the nonstickiness of this one, though my last one after a while seemed to need a bit of parchment paper in the bottom after a year or so. 5Nice bread pan. Beware of staining. This is a nice bread pan. I make baguettes at home with it almost every day.After about a month, I got some severe oil stains on it due to using some coconut oil spray. The entire bread pan was brown, and it was staining my new loafs. These stains simply would not wash out or clean with any brush.I eventually decided to risk putting it inside the oven on a clean cycle for a few hours. All the stains went away, and the bread pan appears to be like new. I hope this helps another user. 4Works well; great value! If you love baguettes, this is a great pan to set you on your way to baking your own! Cooks baguettes evenly and maintains shape while cooking. I find the 4 row pan to be the best option. The non-stick coating works well. Save yourself big bucks over a kitchen store by purchasing this pan that works well! Vote below if you found this review helpful! 5Perfect Baguette Pans I have both a 3-baguette pan and a 2-baguette pan and use them all the time with a no-knead recipe (see my photograph under the product images). I do use parchment paper after one sticky experience in my new electric oven. The bread comes out perfectly baked every time, in fact, I just ordered two more, because friends are beginning to ask me to sell my baguettes to them. 5Non stick coating has a flaw. A small piece peeled off. The non stick coating had a flaw. It had a small bubble which peeled off exposing the bare metal underneath. It's not bad or big enough for me to send it back because the pan still does work but I wanted the manufacturer to know that their quality control needs some improvement. 3Sourdough Baguettes For months, I've used a large cookie sheet to bake three small sourdough baguettes. The recipe I use yields a very soft dough, which doesn't hold it's shape very well during the rising/baking process, so the loaves tended to spread out, rather than up. I happened upon this pan on Amazon one day - the price was very reasonable and now I don't know how (or why) I ever baked the baguettes without it.The perforations allow air circulation for even browning and the size is perfect for three small baguettes. Once, I did try forming the dough into two larger ones, but they were a bit too large for the depressions of the pan. Even though the finish is non-stick, I line the baking surface with sheets of parchment paper, ensuring very easy bread removal and clean-up. Best of all, the sourdough baguettes are beautifully shaped and appear very professional.The pan is a medium-weight metal and holding up very well. But, I'll replace it when required - recommend highly for all french, italian and sourdough bread bakers... 5Good price, baguettes look "store bought" I have been making 3 baguettes at a time with this and love the 'store bought' appearance they have when baked with an egg white wash over them.The little holes on the bottom give the bread a very crisp texture and it looks very pretty. The bread is perfectly shaped even when using a no-knead dough.At first I was making them too big and they touched a bit and stuck. Learning to make them a bit smaller has really helped. I do have a bit of trouble with sticking right in the middle of my loaves- I think this is mainly because my family wants them HOT. I notice after they are allowed to sit longer they don't stick. It's a pan I am very pleased to own. 5
