    Good This gum ball machine was defective out of the box. The mechanism jammed and subsequently broke with the first coin placed inside. Stay far away from this cheap plastic mechanism. Spend the $10 extra and get the real gumball machine (which we have since done). Good luck 1Cool safe I gave the safe to my Grandson on his 4th birthday. He loves it!! It is well made and easy to use. It's a nice size, not too big, not too small. You can keep the default code or change it. I do recommend and yes I will buy it again, one for each of my 3 other grandkids. 5but I m very disappointed in this product My son was extremely exited to get the gumball bank in the mail and couldn t wait to use it. I took the plastic rap off the gumball machine and opened the gumball package and put them in the machine. I didn t see what my son did with the quarter, but the very first coin got stuck and jammed in the machine. Having the gumball machine for less than a couple of minutes and it doesn t work. Needless to say, but I m very disappointed in this product. 1Worth the money! My 8 year old daughter wanted one of those electronic diary's for Christmas, but as I read reviews like this on Amazon, I realized they werent worth the money and were going to be a big disappointment to her. So I bought an old fashioned diary with a lock and key like we girls used to have, :-) , and then I bought this. To my delighted surprise, the diary fits in this and this is a heavy steel constructed safe that is as cool as anything on the market. She loves it and her brotehrs cant read her diary. :-)The only thing I would say isnt good, and I do mean the only, is that its combination lock is only 2 #s. So if her brothers give too much effort they will figure out that there can only be so many combinations. But fortunately, they are not that motivated to read their 8 year old sisters diary and they also thought it was cool despite its color. :-)I would recommend this to any girl from about 7-11. THe combination is tricky but after just two demonstrations by me and dad, she had it down. 5Save change I bought this the one I got it it was broken so I called Amazon and they sent me out in a new one and I threw the other one away it's so I don't have the old run take pictures of but they do deceive you on the amount of bubble gum that comes in these Banks you only get very little bubble gum and you have to buy more so I was dissatisfied with this product is good for kids good night prayer adult but all adults have inner children in them the inner child in them 1I thought this would be fun for my box loving son I thought this would be fun for my box loving son. He loves to stash things a way and this seemed perfect. The quality isn't great though, the "alarm" sets off easily and lock doesn't unlock easily. Ended up being a waste. 1Junk. Absolutely. Piece of junk. Pennies got stuck often and I had to use a screwdriver to push the metal piece out of the way to get it to turn again. Very difficult and I'm a handyman. Within two days the plastic handle BROKE off. Absolute junk. Really disappointed, as well as my students. 1Not worth anything as a present to anyone. The whole mechanism was worthless the coins wouldn't work in the coin slot. The bottom of the bank would not stay on. As my grandson was taking it to his house the bottom fell out and the coins fell out all over the floor. The gumballs that were supplyied were not what I remember as double bubble gum, they were much more hard. Very very hard! The whole thing was made of plastic I think. And wasn't worth two dollars. I would never recommend it to anyone and I'm surprised Amazon even offers it on their site. I was very sorry and ashamed that I gave this to my grandson. 1As good as expected. This is a modestly priced, plastic gumball coin bank that operates on quarters. It is suitable for pre-school and early elementary aged children. It is very easy to open and take out gumballs from the top if you don't have a quarter, and coins are easily removed from the bottom. Came with 50 gumballs, but that didn't even come close to filling up the container. We bought another pound of gumballs (about 250) through another seller. 3Designed to break The gumball machine arrived with way less gumballs than pictured - they filled less than 1/3 of the globe. Which isn't a big deal - because they were all so stale and broken they were clearly too old and unsafe to use anyway.The logo on the front isn't a sticker - it's printed right on the plastic, which takes away from the charm of a gumball machine bank. Not a big deal either, but worth noting.We got replacement gumballs of the same exact size. The first coin jammed, and then within a few turns, the thing broke. We can't turn the handle at all, and the only way to reach the mechanism to try to fix it is to completely dismantle it - which we can't do, since it's all plastic glued together.Worth noting that we tried to do the regular return procedure on Amazon and this item 'isn't available for return' even if you point out that it's defective. I had to go the long route contacting an Amazon customer service person via chat to get a refund. So if you're thinking it'll be easy to return it if it's broken, know this thing will eat hours of your time fiddling, requesting returns, and talking with customer service.This would be time better spent doing basically anything else, and now the thing is just filling up a landfill since it's not recyclable plastic. 1
