    Great for travel, less cumbersome than scissors... Such a convenient, little item. Wish I had know about it's existence earlier. Just put a piece of yarn or ribbon through the hole in the top and tie it on your knitting/ crocheting bag. This is so much easier to use on the go, than scissors. Whenever I go for a long car ride, and plan to crochet, this is with me. Every knitter/crocheter should own one. Highly recommend! 5I love it and it does exactly what it says it ... I love it and it does exactly what it says it does. The only reason that I marked off a star is because I think there should be an attachment on the top to hook it to something. I have a bag that I use for my projects, but it only has zippers, so this can't hang on the bag anywhere like I wanted it to. It probably won't get used as much for this reason. I don't want to have to dig it out every time. 4Works great! I really like this, it makes quick, clean cuts and having it on the lanyard makes it convenient to use. (**Lanyard does not come with it) It's not too heavy and it looks nice. I'm very happy with this and would definitely purchase another one. My good scissors are always "walking" away on me in my house, so it's nice to have this around my neck, nobody knows what it is ;) 5Am very happy that I purchased this add-on item Am very happy that I purchased this add-on item. It looks like its picture, and is about the size of a US half-dollar coin. It is described as a pendant, and a string can be inserted through the top hole and worn on your neck. However, I would put the yarn that I am working on through this hole so that it will be readily available and exactly where I need it when I have to cut the yarn while crocheting or knitting. It came packaged nicely, and is also in a hang-tag package. 5Attractive and useful Pretty little thread and yarn cutter can be worn as a pendant around your neck while crocheting or whatever yarn or thread craft you enjoy. I especially like it while making motifs or granny squares or scrumbling where frequent color changes are common. I didn t care for the rather large embossing on one side staring country of origin and the brand name on the other side. It should have been left as an ornamental as well as functional piece but I m not sorry I got it. It is quite useful. Keeps my from fumbling for scissors. I like the way the sharp blades are recessed so it doesn t slice or cut accidentally. 5Great little cutter! I m a knitter, and when I m working on something in public, I hate rummaging for my scissors. I put a cord through this and either wear it like a necklace or loop it by the cord to the handle of my knitting bag. It s nice and sharp. I usually use it with fingering weight yarn, but it works with larger yarn too, though probably not bulky. It goes through TSA screening with no trouble. This is the second one I ve bought, as I misplaced the first and couldn t live without it! Highly recommended. 5Happy crocheter! So pretty I wear it most of the time on a durable chain I had from an old necklace. I use it quite a lot and haven't had any issues with the blade getting dull. Currently, the Amazon page for this product also contains reviews for a knit counter and stitch markers of varying sizes.I bought this item mostly as a novelty. It's not difficult to carry around a small pair of scissors for cutting your yarn, but this pendant just looked so cool! I had my eye on it for a while before I finally decided to splurge (mostly prompted by the much lower price on Amazon). I bought mine in the silver color and it looks quite fetching. It works well, but cutting the yarn with this pendant is not quite as precise as using scissors. The yarn doesn't fray, but it doesn't form as neat an end as using a sharp pair of scissors. To some this may detract from its utility, but since you weave your ends into your work anyway, I don't really see it as much of a problem.The pendant is a little heavy, but not obnoxiously so. My major complaint is that it does not come with a chain. Of course, I want to wear this around my neck. But, I could not get it onto any of my silver chains that I own because the eyelet is just too small. I ended up making a thin cord of yarn, but I would prefer a metal chain (especially since it's summer and I live in California...I imagine it will not take long for the yarn to get sweaty while sitting around my neck). I also think that a silver chain would match the pendant better. The yarn cord I worked up just makes it look cheap. 4100% Recommend for Crocheting & Knitting Coolest purchase for my craft. This little handy dandy tool is so convenient and Im very glad I made the purchase. When I originally purchased it, I was a bit unhappy bc I thought I wasted my money bc I kept thinking that I could just use the scissors that I have and what's the difference. Well the big difference is the convenience and size of this great little tool. I now find myself reaching for this tool every time. 5Not the best blade, but Great for travel I recently took some embroidery on vacation with me. While my foldable scissors were eventually confiscated by foreign airport security, this pendant always managed to make it through. It doesn't give the cleanest cut to my embroidery floss, but it does get the job done. 5
