Customer Reviews

Works Great!Bought to use on a 30 amp single a/c motorhome after I installed an additional 15 amp a/c that has a separate power cord. Now I can connect to a 50 amp campsite, connect to both "pig tails" and use both air conditioner's and everything else. Recently used on a 4-day camping trip in the South Texas heat and everything worked great, cord didn't even get hot. 5When You See It, You'll Understand Why It Costs So MuchI was skeptical and admit to relying entirely on the previous reviewer in making my purchase decision. I kept my fingers crossed and even at best was expecting something much less robust.Bottom line, I was bowled over by the high quality of this specialty cable. Worth every penny and I have no doubts that if I do my part and take good care of it it will last for years to come.We have a hard-wired 50-amp generator outlet that sits unused until we have a power outage and need the generator. So I bought this cable to put the outlet to work for us when we don't have a generator hooked up and pushing current back into the house. The cable is essentially a "circuit splitter": it divides the 50 amp 220v four-prong connection into two 110v circuits (30-amp and a 15/20-amp). We keep the RV hooked up on the 30 amp circuit, while the 15/20-amp standard 3-prong plug outlet gives us the ability to run an exterior power cable when needed. If this is something you need, don't let the price hold you back. A niche product yes, but a very nice one. 5 stars. 5The "hard to find" adapterHeavy duty and sturdy. I bulked at buying this for about 6 months due to the price. But if it's what you can use, then go for it. It's well made and it will last, provided nobody steals it from your camp or RV site. 5I love this beast of a cordI love this beast of a cord. Very well built and love it because I'm a full timer and need a 15 amp for those extra cold days. 5Five Starsawesome! 5Works perfectlyWorks great. Will buy again if I need to in the future. 5super quality; SOOOOOO practicalThought i already reviewed this. Wonderful quality. Does the job. This is a rare find. I run my space heater off the 110 plug and the 30 amp off the other. The only downside is that it's so long, it hangs out below the power box door, hanging in the rain. I have it taped and covered. Probably not necessary. 5but here it is and works fine.Four service tech's at four different RV service centers said it couldn't be done, but here it is and works fine. 4VERY heavy dutyPerfect for my RV needs, unable to find at any dealer. Allows me to run my 30 amp RV service and a separate heavy duty line for my after market electric fireplace. Meets some campground "rules" of only using one receptacle per RV space. Massive heavy duty cord, pictures do not do it justice! 5The Holy Grail for my power deficient dillemaVery pleased! I spent years trying to figure out how to increase power supply in a basement apartment with non-accessible walls to add wiring. I would have to rip the whole place apart to run more wire and outlets in walls or ceiling of sealed foam/drywall and studs. My design had outlets spaced out along one wall on 2 circuits that proved to be too much. We all know how modern appliances and computers are very high power requirements despite energy efficient ratings. For me I had Condensing washer/drier combo, rice cooker, induction cooktop, microwave, steam oven, hot water pot, espresso, exhaust fan, occasional toaster, other appliances but away due to lack of power. I underestimated the energy requirements I would face. Like a 1950's house being used for 2010+.Fuses blew when the wrong appliances in the wrong outlets were on at the same time. Further I had a pricey 20 amp Induction Cooktop that is in storage for 5 years because my wire in walls is only good for 14 AWG ie. 15 amp. After much research and wasteful in store searches at RV suppliers, Home Depot, Electrical wholesalers, etc, I searched amazon to find this chord set. It solved the problem! Finally. I was about to run extension chords from the fuse box creating a tripping hazard. The key criteria is that the plug is 4 prong grounded and fits my unused 50 amp stove outlet. It is like having an extra fuse box ( pony panel ) to access. One 15/20 amp outlet handles the pricey induction top, The 30 amp Rv outlet I used to install another chord splitter by Conntek to create 2 more 15/20 amp outlets. So 2 chords to solve this. Now I have the George Forman Grill , Hot water kettle, induction stovetop, rice-cooker, clothes drier, IMAC, Clothes Drier and microwave on all at once and no blown fuses. Finally! 5
