    Helps align back and neckPillow is comfortable and works as described. Helps align my neck and back. Takes a little time getting used to it. The sizing though is the difficult part to determine. As a petite adult, I bought the petite pillow based on many customers' reviews and the item description, but found out that it was not comfortable. It kind of squashes my ears. Had to return and buy the medium size. Now it works great. Customer service is awesome too. 4No painPleasantly surprised with this pillow. My chiropractor recommended it to me and I decided to try it. I have chronic neck pain from a bad car wreck years ago and a fall off of my horse. No pillow has ever worked for me. When I recieved it I noticed it s very very firm and I thought I would hate it... I ve tried firm pillows before and even the memory foam pillows feel too hard for me. But I tried it anyway and I slept all night long comfortably!!!! I am a back/side sleeper and both positions were extremely comfortable and I woke up with no neck pain! So I am very happy with my purchase and recommend trying it even if you don t like firm pillows this one is surprisingly comfortable!!! 5Hair all over!So disappointed!! Just got the package and was opening it to find the whole pillow is covered in little dark hairs. So gross.. these aren t threads. They are 100% definitely hairs. I haven t even taken the whole thing out of the plastic yet and I can tell it s all over. 1I am a repeaterI found this at my chiropractor s office. I had been feeling heavy in my shoulder and neck when I woke up every morning. This pillow helped me. I had been using my pillow for almost 10 years andI bought the second one on Amazon and I was shocked how flat my old pillow became compare with new one. Especially neck supporting area. I should have bought new one much earlier. From now on, I will exchange my pillow more often.By the way, I bought one for my husband and he loves it, too. 5Long time neck sufferer finally finds reliefI love this pillow. Neck problems since 1976 and this is the only pillow to make sleeping bearable. For decades, I couldn't find a pillow with a high enough loft to support my head and neck. For the past 2 years, I am unable to find a pillow low enough that will support the curve of my neck. The Tri-Core pillow will give that support. The problem with the pillow is I have to replace them every 4 months, and at $40 a pop with shipping (or thereabout), it gets a bit pricey. I wish Core Products would use some medium firm memory foam or something that will keep its shape more than the fiber fill in the pillow does. My first two pillows were standard size and this go round, I bought the mid-size, hoping it will keep its shape longer than the standard size does. In the interest of complete transparency, I am an everyday, ordinary Amazon customer and was not given this item free or at reduced discount in return for my review. I paid full-price.March 2017: Due to the flattening of 3 prior pillows, I had to buy yet another one. This pillow was ordered as "standard" firmness. One edge is around 3-3 1/2 inches in diameter and the other is 4-4 1/2 inches in diameter. In order to preserve the smaller diameter edge, I am sleeping on the larger edge. This pillow is also stuffed the same as the others and after 6 weeks, I am starting to flatten that edge too. If anyone from Core Products is reading this, consider using medium density memory foam for the long edges in order for the pillow to last longer than 4 months. If this pillow flattens like the others, I might go with a Jackson roll and just skip using a full pillow altogether. I really need the support in the curvature of my neck and the Tri-Core is a great product - - it just doesn't last too long with the size and weight of my "melon". 5Great for neck and shoulder painI have thoracic outlet syndrome, and this helps a lot with my neck pain. I have bought several of these over the years and appreciate that they re great for neck and shoulder pain are reasonably price. I have tried other, more expensive pillows but this is the only one with the center hollow core that s deep enough to put my head and neck into natural alignment. My only complaint is that the names they give these pillows can make it very difficult to figure out the differences between them, thus it can be hard to know which pillow will best meet your needs. 4Massage Therapist Recommendation!I recommend this pillow to all of my clients with upper neck and shoulder issues. Most experience quick relief and a significant reduction in headaches. It took me a couple of nights to get used to it, but the majority of my clients report no time necessary for them to sleep better than they had in years! 5Your cat, if you have one, is gonna love this pillow....I'm posting this on my husband's account since this was was where we do most of our Amazon shopping. I have had two of these pillows now, since I had a stroke and fell down the stairs, breaking my neck. The pillow has been a godsend to me - but one of our cats also adores it. The indentation makes a perfect cat bed! So you might want to get two... 5Just say no.As many of the people here I have tried multiple pillows for chronic neck pain and it seems that It becomes an exercise in futility and one in emptying out your pocket book. This pillow is advertised for both back and side sleepers. I am a side sleeper and could never sleep any other way. This pillow is just bizarre. The concept being that as a side sleeper you lay your head on the edges surrounding the indentation/hole of the pillow if you are a side sleeper. The problem is that the so called edges are not very wide and therefore if you are a "flipper" or a "thrasher" i.e. you have a rough night and you move around quite a bit, then eventually your head will drop in the the middle area which feels like a black hole and abruptly wake you up. If you sleep like a corpse, it is probably fine. The edges where you should lay your head/neck as a side sleeper are comfortable I will give you that, however as others have stated it doesn't seem that it will last too long. I have had mine about 3 months and it already seems to have flattened a bit. I imagine it has a life span of a year tops. I need a pillow that cradles my neck and keeps it from sinking, moving or contorting in any way as odd postures will exacerbate my chronic pain so given that need, this pillow didn't fit the bill considering that I am constantly rolling into the middle hole at night which puts my neck in a downward awkward position when on my side. I am starting to think that no neck support pillow can do what it claims and since I am absolutely not ok with paying the high prices that some ask for what amounts to a piece of foam or padding I guess the eternal search continues. Be clear that it is not uncomfortable but I do not believe that this pillow is appropriate for side sleepers. Judging from all the reviews, it seems that finding the right pillow will be completely unique to each person and so in that case reviews are somewhat useless. 1Chronic Migraine SuffererI suffer from chronic migraines, I have arthritis in my neck, and chronic muscle tension with muscle spasms in the neck and shoulders. I have never found a pillow that I have loved. Typically I buy a pillow, hate it, and (when I can find an excuse to throw it out) I buy a different one. I figured at this point in my life I have tried every pillow marketed towards migraine sufferers and every new fad (e.g. memory foam) and that I will never find anything comfortable. However, this pillow is so amazing that I repurchased it! I love the different sides that offer different levels of support, so I can flip it around depending on what kind of support I feel my neck needs that night. I have slept on the sides and the middle although I find I do prefer the sides more since I generally need more support for my neck. 5
