    Great Quality This is my first Crafter's Workshop Template. Perfect. Finally gave up trying to cut template plastic on my Silhouette and ordered this as a sample of CW stencils. Love it. Not the kind you can smoosh molding paste across easily (must be stuck down for that), because this IS the Branches not a cut out of Branches. Fantastic for spraying over. Just wish I had the 12x12 version. Made of Very thin plastic, which could be useful if you wanted to stick it to a non-flat object for painting. Will definitely be ordering more CW stencils. 5Five Stars I have had a lot of fun using this stencil. Great affects with this. 5Heavy enough not to bend and become misshapen. I ... Heavy enough not to bend and become misshapen. I spray the back lightly with washable adhesive, then apply to glass and paint over with glass paints or enamel. If used as a tracing pattern, I would think you'd have trouble were it not glued down somehow because of the detached style of the design. 5A fun design. I love using Dylusions paints with this ... I find all Crafter's Workshop stencils and stamps of really good quality, reasonably priced, and they hold up well. You will not be disappointed in purchasing. 5Very Unique Whimsical template. I like Crater Workshop products. and I wasn't certain I'd really use this, but I had rush of genius, one small rush, well a fleeting idea, I'd use this template on a card. I have used it and it's very nice. I I needed a bird, so I only traced a bird and so on. This is nice and useful. Yes I'll get this again.This is perfect for my budget and art use. 5Very Cute Design - Great Backgrounds I LOVE Crafter's Workshop stencils. The quality is consistent and the designs are always cute. This one is no exception. I used the entire stencil on a couple of projects - and the projects turned out well. That said, I also like using just a portion of the stencil - using just part of the design can totally change the look. These work really well with spray inks, pens, acrylic paint, Gelatos/gel crayons, spackle, etc - just about any medium you can throw at them. Crafter's Workshop Templates are made from a translucent white mylar - so you can easily see where you are positioning the stencil on your project. (The importance of this cannot be underestimated once you've worked with stencils you can't see through.) Easily cleaned, nice weight, and durable. I love this design - and always return to Crafter's Workshop Templates. It's awesome that the designs TCW's offers are available in both their large (12"x12") and small (6"x6") sizes. They also have TONS of ideas on their site at [...]. Be careful - they are addictive! 5Could be better This is a stencil and a mask. In other words, there is a lot of covered-up area that will give you a lot of negative space. It works well with molding paste to add some 3D texture. However, Distress stains, ink, and even acrylic just get all underneath it and I end up with a distorted blob instead of a crisp image of gears. The gear teeth also mutilate sponge applicators and marker tips. It's one of the few stencils for steampunk; unfortunately, I haven't been able to get much use out of it. 3Great I bought this stencil to use as a Facepainting accessory. I am really happy with my purchase. Yes is big and has a square shape but I cut it on 4 small ones and works great . Easy to clean and give me beautiful shapes 5Using for Art I'm using this template, or parts of it, on a 'masterpiece" :))). My take is I wish it was larger, more like 8x8, but I have a very tight budget for luxury items, so I get what I can afford.This is a cute template but it is thin cut and it will distort if you aren't careful. I compass a circle smaller than the gear, then trace the gear and teeth, pen in the gear, then erase pencil lines.I'd like a larger and more durable template if I get another one. I like steam punk designs and this would fit into that genre. 5Cheap Small Flimsy Expensive The product is cheaply made of thin plastic. It's flimsy and small and will tear if not handled gently. I used it to pounce paint over and it worked just "okay". Nothing remarkable. I also used it with a light spray, and it bled-so the pattern was lost. It's only 6x6 so it's very small. For the cost it should be made of a sturdy plastic that will hold up. I could buy a roll of genuine chicken wire for not much more! If you want this stencil for extensive crafting, beware. 2
