    Good value for the money - be careful replacing the backing using the metal points that hold in the backing. Not bad for the money.However- note:The thickness of what you are wanting to frame comes into play with these frames.I framed a one sheet document and that went just fine.But I did another that had been matted and was about 1/8th inch thick and had a very difficult time.These frames have the backing held in place with little metal points that are pressed into the sides of the wood frame.This works but can be a bit of a pain.And if you are not careful you can break the glass trying to force them in when you have a thick piece inside.My project looks great and these frames set off the artwork nice.Shipping was extremely quick and packing was way more than adequate.Glass was in the frames - not plastic as some reviews have suggested.All in all, good value for the money.Will buy again. 4Beware of False Advertising! Plastic cover. *BEWARE*!!! it is NOT a glass cover, it is made out of plastic. The actual frame was fine, and packaged well but I specifically wanted glass since the front looks cheap. Called Amazon for a partial refund, this is blatant false advertising. The rear mounting needs to be drilled before screwing, won't work the way they made it look. Wish the holes were already screwed... Honestly it's not worth $28, probably $12-$15 tops. 3Just Okay I normally buy my frames at Michaels and get 50% off, but because I was pressed for time - I decided to order this one online. Quality is not up to par with a similar frame I purchased at Michaels a week earlier for maybe a bit less. But it does do the trick. Similar to other comments, the wood is very light and the window part is plastic feeling. I just assumed it was glass because of the price - but did not fully read the description until it arrived. It did arrive next day which was great. I can not say I would purchase another one - but certainly keeping the one I got and will use it for my child's art project. It does include nice hanging hardware with it - so that was a bonus and usually something you need to purchase separately. If you take the time to read the comments and product description it is exactly what you can expect to receive in a very timely manner. 2Best frame for canvas I bought his frame for a canvas my mom got me when she was in Paris. I wanted glass for it even thought it is an oil painting because I have toddlers who are always getting crayon on the walls and don't want to risk it. This frame was well made, sturdy, and thick enough that I did not even need offset clips to frame it. The inner part of the frame was slightly larger than my canvas, but because of the overlap of the frame edge it fit exactly perfect!!! I was so delighted with the finished product!Also, the frame had free shipping with Prime, and when It came it was packed so carefully so that there was no chance of it breaking during shipping! That aspect was wonderful because I hate ordering anything breakable and having to return because it broke during shipping. I will definitely be ordering frames from Craig frames again! 5It's nice enough. It'll do. It's average quality. It's not high quality but it's not cheesy or cheap looking either. It's nice enough. People seem to like the overall look of the frame with my artwork. (see attached photo) 4Bad corners but otherwise a beautiful frame I love the style of this frame. It's perfect for a variety of art including shallow canvases. I bought this to frame a piece of my own art before a show. I had to return the first one because the corners were way off. The black is applied to the wood before it's cut and joined so when they miss the corner joint, the MDF shows very clearly. The second one they sent was still not 100% correct. I kept that and use it at home. There's no way I could frame a client's work with it. I order a lot from Craig Frames and they do have a problem with corner joints regularly but when they get it right the frames are perfect & versatile (canvases, canvas board, + prints). 2Very Poor advertisement for USA made items These frames are a very poor advertisement for USA made items (which I try to buy whenever possible)Products:- Very cheap made- Super light, not sure what kind of wood composite this is, but it feels like cardboardworkmanship is terrible- If you have good artwork or precious things to display, keep looking- Even though they are cheap, the price point / value is not close to equalBottom line: I can't recommend these USA made frames from this seller because the quality is simply not there for what you pay for.Best thing about this entire purchase was the packaging. Nothing could possibly have gone wrong en route.. but its overkill in my opinion.The packaging seemed to have cost far, far more than the actual product. I wish the money had gone into whats supposed to hang on my wall, not the trash. 1Classic black My frame arrived a couple of days ago and I finally managed to unpack it yesterday. I'm very pleased with it and am anxious to tackle my latest DIY project which will be framing a vintage old world poster which I also ordered from Amazon. I was thrilled to find a large black frame with such nice detail at a reasonable cost after going to my local Michaels store and being shell-shocked by the quoted cost to have this poster professionally framed. It's hard to imagine, after reading all the reviews, that some buyers commented they received a damaged product because the packaging was so well done it was difficult to even remove this frame from the box. 5What a great surprise! I have been shopping for a frame for a few months now to surprise my son by getting his numbered and signed prized poster set in a professional looking frame. The pricing for having this done was going to cost a couple of hundred plus dollars which I just thought was unreasonable. So I decided to look in to finding a decent frame and attempt to do it on my own. I finally resorted to shopping online and found this particular frame that appeared to be too good to be true, and while I had questions on the actual appearance of certain cryteria that I was looking for I went ahead and purchased it anyway and hoped for the best. Well it arrived much sooner than I would have expected and was impressed how well it was packaged. It was the perfect frame without the high cost. It wasn't plastic, it was wood grain and after setting it up together - well it was exactly what I was hoping for. I will know where to get any future frames from now on - looking forward to doing more business with this seller. Thank You!!! 5... this frame to go with it and it was perfect!! I haven't been able to hang it ... I ordered a 20x30 high quality poster from Etsy to use as my guest sign in and bought this frame to go with it and it was perfect!! I haven't been able to hang it up yet, but the quality is awesome. The only thing was the plastic covering that covers the poster was cracked during shipping, but not the fault Craigs. The "plastic" is a very good quality too, doesn't look cheap at all. 5
