    Pretty but not soft Blanket is very pretty but upon receiving I was disappointed to find it s really not comfortable at all and therefore making it more for decor not use. I would prefer both comfort and looks in my blankets. This was not for me. 3I RECEIVED A RETURNED ITEM WITH PREVIOUS OWNERS NOTE ON IT. I got this blanket today. And it came from a return , I m guessing, because it has the previous owners sticky note on it. Note says ODOR AND PULL . Which it does have a pull in it and smells like a nasty warehouse. If I m going to receive used and damaged item I d like a discount. 1Good quality for the price I love this blanket! It is well made, held up fine in the washer, is a good size and looks cozy on my couch. It did smell a little weird but to me it smelled new, not like a musty basement as others have said. And I saw a lot of reviews that said it s not soft. Yea it s not soft like one of those microplush blankets but it s not supposed to be! It s a knit blanket! I saw a review that said it feels like one of those Mexican blankets and I agree. I really like the texture of it. Another review said it s the same size as a large towel. It s bigger than that. It s just the right size for a decorative throw. It covers me completely. It did get little fuzzies all over my black shirt but I just won t snuggle with it when I have my work clothes on. I love Amazon and buy most of my things from here but sometimes I think not reading the negative reviews, or choosing which ones to ignore will benefit me in the future. It took me so long to actually purchase this blanket because of the few negative reviews. But if I had seen it in a store I would have bought it and loved it and not have had all these negative expectations and not even thought twice about the fuzzies or the smell. 5Sheds worse than my wife and cat combined Disappointed. I love the looks of this blanket but it sheds worse than my wife and cat combined. The little white fuzzies from this blanket will for sure cover anything the blanket comes in contact with. I ended up washing it according to the blanket s instructions in hopes this would solve the fuzz issue but it only made it worse. Even the white strings fly off the blanket as I shake it in the driveway trying to get the fuzzies off it. It looked like I shaved a sheep dog on the driveway after shaking the blanket a few minutes. I wish the material of this blanket was better but it s no bueno 1It stinks This throw looks the way I expected. What I did not expect was the horrible, awful, toxic, disgusting smell of the blanket. It smelled like vomit. It took three washes, lots of Oxyclean, baking soda, and two types of detergents to get the smell to a manageable level. And I m doing so, there was so much lint that came off of the blanket, it looked like a second blanket was left behind in my washer and dryer. 1it smelled strongly like an old The blanket arrived on time, but when I opened it, it smelled strongly like an old, musty basement. I was disappointed because I had planned to give it as a Christmas gift. So I decided I would wash it and keep it myself. However, even on the gentlest, hand-wash cycle, the blanket somehow caught on itself and two threads pulled out. I immediately returned the blanket. 1Not white and yellow, more like a dingy white, which makes it look dirty I wanted to love this, but the white part of the yellow/white chevron pattern on the blanket is more like a dingy white so when you look at it from far away, it looks like it needs a good washing. It's probably just recycled yarn, which is great from an environmental standpoint, but overall has a dingy look. It also pills like crazy in the washer, so wash it separately. If you're just looking for a blanket and you're not picky about what it looks like, this could work. 3Great Product, Bad Smell This blanket was adorable and appeared well made. I'd planned to used it on my son's toddler bed in place of a blanket. However, it smelled really foul - like it had been in a really old home for a really long time. The smell persisted after washing so I returned. 1Hmmm Can t say I like it and can t say I don t either. It s the second blanket I bought from the same brand because it s affordable. The print is beautiful. It s weighted. But it smells awful and requires at least 3 washings to get rid of the smell. It sheds a lot and it makes me cough when I use it because of minute lint. Speaking of the lint, it's enough to make another blanket. :( The thread unravelled as well after being washed. It makes for a great decoration though. I don t know why all the other vine reviewers don t mention of the awful smell it has. But it does. And it s really awful. 2Cute throw but sheds like crazy! It's a cute throw blanket for the price. About the size of a towel, maybe smaller. It has a rough texture but isn't stiff, it's not too heavy or light. My biggest complaint is the fact that it sheds like CRAZY. I washed it when it arrived and there was a ball of lint/string the size of a softball! It's cute for the price, though. 3
